I bought a truck back in August, and had a myriad of communications problems after I bought the truck (of course). I was promised that I would receive the spare key, which I never did. I tried every avenue of communications — I left voicemails, sent emails to the sales staff and finance, online chat — you name it. My title work also came in late, and I had the exact same problem getting in touch with the title department for 35 days after I bought the truck. They’re real nice before you buy anything, but then, they disappear. There’s another Dodge dealership in Charleston — take your business there.

I went to buy a new truck. I was held hostage for 3 and a half hours. The sales staff was behind locked doors and bull shitting. They were trying to break me down by making me wail. Scummy sales tactics did not work. I walked out. Do not do business with these slime bags. Proof positive where mother and father were brother and sister

I would not recommend using this dealership if you’re in need of a pre-​purchase vehicle inspection. Especially if you live outside this area and are considering purchasing a car from someone in the area. I live in another state and was purchasing a vehicle from someone in Summerville and had the seller use this dealership for the PPI. I ended up with a check list that told me little about the actual condition of the vehicle.
Numerous attempts to contact the dealership by phone and email after the inspection, proved fruitless. Total lack of customer service!

I’ve been here a couple of times for service and am usually able to get in pretty quick and they fix my car in a reasonable amount of time. The service guys are friendly enough and I’ve never been hassled or had anything pushed on me. As far as repair work I can’t complain.
Waiting room is nice. Lots of seating, TV, and free fancy coffee and water. The next paragraph explains how I know.
The reduction in stars comes from the shuttle service. It is awful. Every time I’ve used it the delay has just been insane. I’m talking waiting for them to take you home for we’ll over an hour every single time, even when you are the only person waiting. I just don’t get it. Maybe I’m being unfair for dinging them for something that is a complementary service, but if it is so painful to use, is it really even worth offering?
I’ll give them credit, the shuttle is nice for people without a way to get a ride. They pick up and drop off, so if you are in a pinch, this is the only way to go.
Overall I’m happy, just disappointed that the main reason I came here turned out to be a total waste.

Their phone system sucks (as does the service department). Phone rang for 1 minute at main line before a lady answered saying the name of the dealership so quickly I had to ask if I had the right number. Transfer to service department phone rang for another minute before transferred back to front desk. Asked again for service… another minute of phone ringing. Then when trying to set an appointment they ask me for the VIN number before they can set an appointment. Oh sure I have that right here as I’m driving down the freaking road.
I own 3 Jeeps from here and in last year customer service has tanked. No more business from me.

I went to purchase a dodge ram today. The salesman was accommodating. However, as I was about to test drive the pick up truck, the dealership needed me to sign a confidentiality and privacy agreement. So, I already gave them my drivers license to copy and now they wanted me to sign a two page document about social security numbers and financing. For me this was a bridge too far. I have never been asked to do this by any other dealership including Rick hendrick on Rivers Avenue, Hendricks lexus or Hendricks Chevrolet! So why then hendrick dodge on Savanah highway? I was truly offended and decided to take my business elsewhere.

I brought my first car here (as I’m constantly reminded by their marketing efforts) and boy was I taken for a ride by their finance dept – ouch! The only saving grace was that the salesman actually took the time to go over a few different options with me.

As a fleet maintenance contractor, I need a parts department that operates with a sense of urgency and handles their business in a professional manner.
The parts department at Hendrick Dodge falls woefully short of that requirement.
After having to deadline a vehicle for the entire weekend due to the inability of this dealership’s parts department to effectively communicate with our shop, my customer has demanded that I seek another Chrysler parts vendor.

I was charged a big deposit to order the new Dodge Hellcat in October 2014. The salesman and the sales manager told me to expect it before the end of 2014. After waiting five months longer than anticipated I began to attempt to get back my deposit. I cannot get the dealership to call me back. I believe they have gotten enough of these cars in so that I should have mine by now. When I call, I get a new story each time. So I asked for my money back and told them to cancel the order. It is too late for Amex to dispute the charge for me so either Hendrick must willingly refund the money or I must sue them. Surely this big dealer cannot be running a scam as silly as this.

Went in to get my 2014 Chrysler 200 LX oil change as part of my service agreement. They were a little busy when I pulled my car up but very efficient in checking me in. I was expecting a hour advised by the service worker but my car was completed in 35 minutes so I appreciate the speedy service.

I called a week in advance to have my Jeep Wrangler serviced. They were very accommodating, scheduling the oil change, tire rotation, and the warranty repair.
Their check-​in process was efficient and they were able to identify three suggested repairs, as per Jeep. I signed off on all three, under warranty, and they quoted me three hours to complete the work.
I waited in the lounge while they worked on the Jeep, two hours later the Jeep was ready. They were very friendly, courteous, and easy to work with.
If I am in Charleston again, I’ll bring my Jeep here.

Unless you like working with dishonest people, enjoy poor communication and have a lot of time to waste, do not come to this dealership!
My initial visit seemed positive… test drove a car, talked about my options, ran my credit score (came in at an excellent 820) and discussed the money I intended on putting down, I thought this car buying experience would go pretty flawlessly… boy was I wrong!!!
Not only did the sales person lie about their availability of cars and unnecessarily have me come to the dealerships, not 1, not 2, but 3 times to try and get me into a car that was clearly either not what I was looking for, or there at all, but the management team was just as bad. Talk about a team of people that overpromise and severely underdeliver and clearly have no respect for the time and efforts of their customers. After a week of working with them, several attempts at reaching them via phone or email (with no response) and 3 trips to the dealership, I am without a car. Needless to say, I will never be purchasing a vehichle from this dealership and hope you don’t make the same mistake either.

Got my Jeep Wrangler service done here. Alignment, tire rotation, oil change, and interior cleaning. John helped out on the day after Christmas and gave me a great deal. He is a good dude and came in on his day off because someone got hurt; good looking out!!! Good deal and I will be back. Thanks

I recommend going to check them out when you are in the market for a new car but make sure you have a full day devoted. They have a big inventory of new cars, not so much of used. My salesman wasn’t very interested in showing me any used vehicles, just new ones. It seriously took him 30 minutes to pull one car up for me to look at because he had to move so many cars out in the back to get the car out. I test drove the vehicle for 3 miles, wish it could have been longer.
With all that being said, I did purchase a new car from them because they were able to give me a great deal on my trade in vehicle and into a great payment.

My husband and I made an appointment to get a new key for our vehicle and to have it programmed here – generally not a time-​consuming request. We arrived on time for our 2:30 appointment and watched several service staff lounging in the service area while we checked in. They told us the programming would take about 45 minutes, which seemed a bit long, but we settled in to a freezing waiting area surrounded by empty and broken vending machines and coffee machines. Fine, we’d eaten lunch before we came anyway. We waited well over an hour on the new key while being ignored by all of the staff. I’ll be taking my car to the North Charleston location from now on, where I’ve experienced much better customer service.

Amazing customer service! We were on a 14 hr road trip and got a nail in our tire. We came here and they patched it and we were back on the road within 15 minutes!

This is where I bought my bad ass Challenger. I got a good deal on it but the finance guy is a little shady with his tactics, so stay on your p’s and q’s when dealing with him. Other then that the service has been great. The service department is always packed so be prepared to wait. Overall, I have had pleasent experiences every time I bring my car back for upgrades and repairs.

First off, until the construction is over, bring patience — for the dealership or collision repair shop. This review is specifically for the repair shop — Secondly, there’s an air of stuffiness from the customer service department, I’m assuming due to the massive workload it is obvious they have each day. It might take a minute or two to be acknowledged once you approach the service counter, but once they’ve paired you with the member that will be assisting you, be it damage appraisal, or work review, they give 100% attention and are amazing.
My car ended up being a total loss based on the assessment, but that was no problem, as there is a full service Enterprise Rent-​A-​Car on site! Overall, excellent results from the body repair shop.

Worst service department ever. Dropped my car off (Dodge vehicle, fairly new,) and they never took any information from me as far as name or contact info. Said to just come back in 45 minuttes and it would be done. Went back 3 hours later and they said there was a problem. They didn’t have a number to call me on (hmm I wonder why…). Well they said they coudn’t do a simple oil change because I never brought the car to them before. SO WHAT?! Gave me attitude about how he can put it on the lift and let me look at it and show me. I pay them to do it for me, not to put it on the ift for me to do. Extremely rude attitude and service.
