Good food and drink. Quite fresh and big size. The staff was very nice too. It’s a cozy, small and clean store. Enjoyed my late lunch there!

BAGELS! Great bagels! Royalicious makes awesome baked goods in general. Their whitefish spread is awesome, and they also sell lox. I’m a fan of their apple cinnamon donuts, but really, I don’t think you can go wrong ordering anything here. Prices are a little bit steep for the bagel sandwiches($ 9), but they can command these prices with little to no competition in the surrounding area. The employees working here are always friendly, helpful, and fast, too. Don’t count on a seat — there are only 2 or 3 tables inside. Love this bakery!

I don’t even know where to start… This place is AMAZING. Every single aspect of it. They just get it. Their food, pastries, and above all, their fantastic customer service goes above and beyond any deli I have come across before. We live close by and eat here way more than we should. This is our go-to place for anything breakfast related or when we get a hankering for a hoagie. I don’t think I can pick out one single item that is better than another, because it is all SOGOOD. Seriously, you won’t be disappointed by these ladies. They are always upbeat, despite the crazy busy atmosphere of the place. And the sandwiches, pastries, coffee, and cookies never leave anything to be desired. You WILL be satiated!

Excellent choice for lunch. Ordered the«Black Jack» sandwich, very tasty and filling. Great attitude from the employees made it standout too. Hats off to them.

The only place to get lobster tails(the pastry kind) lovely and should be a regular option. And the cookie section is alway stocked with traditional items, home made no over processed garbage. I can’t really judge the sandwiches, I go for the sweet stuff. Never had a bad dessert from here. Loyal customer for 2 years.

I can see why others rate it so highly but I must have caught them on a very bad day this summer. The air conditioning and fountain soda machine was broken. Not only that, they were down to almost nothing in terms of bottled drinks. No water or standard sodas, just the leftover random favors. Now lets get to service. There were 2 employees and both helping other customers which is totally understandable, what isn’t is the regular who walked in after me and was greeted and helped before me(it’s not a big place, it’s not like it wasn’t obvious who had arrived first). To their credit the other employee saw this and helped me asap. Now to my order, I order a sandwich(can’t recall the name) and they are out of 2 key ingredients 1 of which was bacon. They are either going out of business or are in serious need of improvements across the board. What a disappointment.

Royalicious is the bees knees. To my surprise, this is quite the tasty spot! Fresh bagels, giant sandwiches, and colorful desserts… what more could you ask for?! The sandwiches are truly gargantuan, stacked high with all of the meats. Service is very friendly and reasonably quick. Tip: there are very few seats in the bakery. Take your sandwich home, or even better, take it to Harpers Ferry and have a delicious picnic feast!

Tried it two more times after my last review. I take back what I said about their sandwiches. I’m going to be honest, It’s equivalent to Subway or Mike Jersey Subs. Actually I’d rather eat at them two places. First off its overpriced for the quality. The bread does not hold up well with a lot of fixings. It breaks and gets soggy.

Sorry to disagree with so many 5-stars, but we were not impressed. The bagels were better than supermarket or panera, but nothing like New York. They had no rest room or washing sink, but they did have a sanitizer dispenser. There are two tiny tables inside, and a couple outside. My lox platter(bagel, lox, cream cheese, onion, tomato slices, capers) was fresh and wholesome, but the cream cheese had no flavor or tang. That seemed to be a theme with the other baked goods, too. We tasted several varieties of cookies and bought a nice big piece of crumb cake to go. All the cookies were dry and tasted the same– fake butter, fake vanilla, fake chocolate. We ate the crumb cake later that day at home, and it was also dry and fakey, and left a greasy film on the tongue. Save your calories and gas, don’t go out of your way.

Hell yeah to this place all around! Bakery goods that make you want to immediately break your diet, a large variety of fresh bagels, two friendly girls running the shop with a smile and decently paced service, a steady stream of customers who love the place, and hot and cold breakfast AND lunch sandwiches! Food was heavenly. They have donuts too. GOHERE!!!

This place!!! Holy crap. Ok, I have been here 10+ times and have neglected to Unilocal(sorry) here’s the deal. This place is LEGIT. Let’s start with the food, the bagels are baked fresh at 3am daily, they use no preservatives, you can’t buy day old bagels. They’re chewy. They’re flavorful, they taste like little heavenly bagel angels made them and sent them through a toppings chute right in to the baskets in the bakery. The holes are small so cream cheese doesn’t squirt out everywhere, cause you know they load them up with about a ¼ lb of the stuff. Let’s talk about the cream cheese… It’s fresh, by fresh I mean they make it there. The veggie cream cheese has FRESHVEGETABLES mixed in to it. Little crunchy carrot sticks chives, maybe some green peppers? I’m not sure but it’s freakin amazingly thick, creamy and delicious. They also have green olive cream cheese, blueberry, strawberry, plain, chive, and nova lox. It’s a GREATBUY at just 5.99 lb. seriously, don’t leave without it. There is a selection of cookies that would send even the whiniest 2 year old in to a blissful state of wonderment, and of course, they’re all delicious. They’ve got donuts, cheese cake, fresh baked bread, rolls, cakes, omg. Let’s talk about SAMMICHES!!! They’re 3lbs a piece, you can’t eat the whole thing if you tried. Everything at this place is delicious to the point of ridiculous and you need to check it out. The girls that work there are just as sweet as the pastries! Totally cool! Feels like home. Take stuff to go!!!(but just not the coffee… The black coffee is watery) well let that slide because, well who cares.

Um, whoa. Based on all the positive reviews, I stopped into this little shop near the Wal-Mart in Harper’s Ferry when I was leaving town. I will make a point to stop here whenever I travel through the eastern panhandle. 1 — breakfast sandwiches all day 2 — coke products 3 — excellent customer service 4 — the garlic bagel is like, encrusted with garlic. And they’re real bagels, not grocery store crap. 5 — COOKIES. Holy crap, my staff was lucky I shared. They were falling all over themselves about how great they were. Delicious Italian butter cookies with chocolate, sprinkles, raspberry jelly and combinations thereof. I didn’t have one, but they fill the cannolis when you order them. Now that’s legit. Go here. Eat. And get a bag of delicious to take home with you.

WOW! WOW! If you want a great bagel with flavorful cream cheese this is the place to come. Unilocal does it again. My wife and I were on our way to Frederick and wanted breakfast and coffee. Well this place was worth the visit. Wish we had time for lunch as the sandwiches looked awesome. A string of people kept coming in and it was busy. I know why… great food, great pastries, warm, homemade items. Only thing that could use some work in their drink selection. As my wife needs non-dairy creamer we asked if they had any and the answer was no. But we enjoyed our bagels. I had a breakfast bagel sandwich that was flavorful with Boarshead ham, egg, and cheese. It was fantastic. Also, try the blueberry cream cheese… WOW. A must visit…

Best deli sandwiches this side of Manhattan! They use Boar’s Head brand deli meats, which is the best there is, hands down Although a bit pricey, you certainly get what you pay for! The Italian is the real deal. Meats stacked to da’ moon! I’ve tried just about everything on the menu… ALL fantastic! The sandwiches and sub’s/hoageys are all big enough to feed two big eaters. The baked goods are to die for! Solo good! Try them! You can thank me later. ;)

This bakery rocks! A little place in the Wal Mart strip mall and his is where Loco Joe’s gets their bagels and those«cigar» pastries. Fantastic sandwiches are made here and they have all kinds of Italian cookies. I always stop here when I am in Charlestown! Do not miss the jalapeño bagel.

A five star review for the best NY style bakery in the area. Truly magnificent. Easily accessible from Winchester off of 340 near the Walmart(and also driving distance from Harpers Ferry), I must admit. This place warms my heart with all the great eats that I am very familiar with from New York and New Jersey. The owners are from Long Island, which certainly helps with the atmosphere, and feels that way too. You walk in and the ambiance is very NY heavy. From the pictures, to the bakery displays, you walk up to the counter and place your order. Dozen bagels? Absolutely. Great selection and great taste. Freeze them and you’ll have yourself some bread for a week. Buy their meats(all Boars Head) and you will have yourself lunch for a week. Their bakery items are impeccable. I prefer their fruit flavored cookies, and they have great taste and just the right amount of sugar coating(its not overbearing). It’s very easy to walk out with everything there, and a great deal of restraint is needed to prevent that from happening, but its too hard to pass up sometimes, especially their cannoli, which can’t be beat in the area. For the inner Italian or Jewish person from NY or NJ, a true original here, and will make you want to go back again and again(Sunday mornings have taken on new meanings). A huge and big definite recommend.
