UNC Urgent Care

Friendly, professional, and helpful. I only waited 5 minutes before being seen and met almost immediately with the X-​Ray technician and the nurse practitioner who provided care. UNC Urgent Care made a painful injury a lot more bearable by handling everything so well.

Love this place. It can seem slow but only if there is a room full of people ahead of me so of course it can be. But it’s much faster and much more nurturing than any ER will ever be!

Fast, friendly, evicient and knowledgeable. Have used them twice. So much better than going to the emergency room when the Docor’s office is closed.

Absolutely the nicest staff ever! Really busy and still got me seen and out in about an hour. They will be my go-​to from now on!

I have been here twice in the last week for a illness and then for an injury. I arrived shortly after opening each time and experienced virtually no wait. The nurses AND doctors were very friendly and professional and I received excellent care for both situations. In the future when I can’t be seen by my primary care doc in a timely manner for an urgent matter, I’ll be going to UNC Urgent Care for sure.

My experience here was a very positive one. The facility was extremely clean and the staff was excellent. When we arrived the receptionist was spraying and wiping down the lobby and office area. I was greeted by a very nice Caucasian woman (sorry I can’t remember her name) and she was very sympathetic to me while asking me to fill out paperwork. One of the nurses, Lauren took me into the back and was very detailed and through with the pre-​screening questions. I had to give ‘samples’ for testing and Lori was patient, kind, and helpful. One ‘sample’ was a little vile, but she never made me feel bad. The pregnant tech (sorry I can’t remember her name) that took my x-​ray was also nice as well as another nurse named Catherine. Lauren came in multiple times to check-​in on me during my 3 hour visit and was extremely hospitable. My only issue (and it’s a small issue) is that the doctor (Dr. Revella Harmon) didn’t read all the detailed notes from the nurse and made me repeat everything that was already written down once she arrived in the room. She was a bit terse at times when she didn’t like the answers to her questions. This would have been a problem if the over-​friendly staff hadn’t already compensated for what she was lacking. All and all my experience was great because of the cleanliness and nurses. I will return here if I have another emergency or can’t see my doctor.
