IHOP

The fastest iHop ever. People seated. Food delivered. Tables cleaned. As close to perfect as you can get. The food was good too. Amazing.

The server was friendly, and the food came out quickly. So those are the good points I have. But I did have a few issues with the food.
The pancakes weren’t necessarily as warm as I would’ve liked but they were still good.
The country fried steak has good seasoning, but it wasn’t warm either. It tasted fine, but it could’ve been better. There was more breaking than steak when you cut up the steak.
The chicken fajita omelette was underwhelming. It wasn’t bad, but again, it wasn’t warm. It would’ve been so much better if everything was warmer.
The fact that these items weren’t at a decent temperature as they should when coming out of the kitchen bothers me. We sat near the kitchen and I watched our server bring it out, so you should assume that you’re hot food would come out at least a decent temperature.

Walked in with my husband and had to wait to be seated while the employees argued because they both didn’t want to do the seating. Was seated at a table yet there were several booths empty so we asked for a booth and we had gotten one. Then our server, an older African lady, had walked passed us without taking our drinks. We were super hungry so when it was time to order she took our orders but she never came back! Someone else brought our food out. We waited for our server and Our waters were empty and we were so thirsty. We wanted to order more pancakes and toast but she never came back after she had taken our order so we couldn’t order more food. We went to the host and asked for our check and paid there. Our server never showed up.

Worst place, all was cold including the coffee.
The sterling location is the best, their food takes little longer to be served but is nice and hot.

The staff needs to smile more. Our waiter was not pleasant at all. We changed a drink, so he came back and placed the drink down and did not even hear our apology. The food was good.

I love ihop… banana nutella crepes are good! And the mozzarella sticks. Oh my god and the raspberry tea (i think) is the best tea I have ever had. (I love sweet tea) Ihop is amazing because it’s open like all the time. Thanks ihop. :)

If I could give zero stars, I would. My customer service needs are not demanding, especially at a casual place like IHOP but this was completely unacceptable.
I arrived for a late dinner around 10pm on Sunday, June 21 2015. I had to wait to be seated even though the wait staff outnumbered the customers. Not a big deal though and it wasn’t more than a few minutes.
After waiting fifteen minutes, I asked a waitress if she could help me and she said my waiter would be over shortly. I watched a waiter service two booths in front of me and go back to the kitchen area.
At the thirty minute mark of waiting for service, I got up and gave the menu to the gentlemen behind the cash register. I assume he is the manager based on his outfit. I told him I had been waiting a half hour and nobody came to my table. He did not offer me an apology or even speak to me. I couldn’t believe this incredible sign of disrespect and a lack of any kind of apology.
Needless to say I will never be returning to this location and I am in the process of contacting IHOP via social media and their customer service.

I’ve never had particularly good experiences here, but this mornings was so bad I felt the need to write about it. Our waitress, Paula, was rude and short with us and once she gave us our food (after snatching the menus from our hands) she walked away without asking if we needed anything, leaving us with no silverware (and warm drinks). She disappeared and I had to ask another waitress for silverware. We still needed her attention and I made eye contact with her, raised my hand, and she turned around and walked away. So then the assistant manager brought us condiments and refilled our drinks (our waitress was nowhere to be seen). Without asking if we needed separate checks she brought us one, and disappeared again. I wrote on the check exactly what needed to be separated, and while she was sweeping under our feet I asked and she brought it back and the check was still wrong. I thought I made it easy. So we go up to pay and told the manager who was very short with us and after 4 minutes of waiting he throws it down and yells «next!» I don’t want to sound spoiled but we will not be back to this location, if I return to an iHop at all.

The host on duty Khalid seem to be half asleep. Maybe he didn’t want to be there. Most of what he said was in a mumble which could not be understood. The server we had delivered acceptable service. Food was disappointing and below par for a IHOP. Bacon was way over cooked. Corporate should review operations at this location to find out what’s wrong.

The only reason we went to this IHOP was because we had a car being maintained across the street. It was Sunday morning and there was no other restaurant serving breakfast nearby. The place was pretty empty but very loud– the staff was noisy laughing, joking and just yapping loudly. Very unprofessional. The food was less the mediocre. I ordered crepes with strawberries and cream and my husband commented that my food didn’t even look appealing. He ordered French toast and said he had better. Coffee was pretty bad and the whole place just looked tired and needs revamping. I would not recommend this IHOP at all.

Not the best IHOP that I’ve been to but it’s ok. The food is good but somewhat inconsistent. My pancakes were overdone today so I had to send them back for new order. The service here is really the biggest issue, they are sometimes good and usually incompetent. Hopefully, management will invest more in staff training.

Food was normal for IHOP but the device was really slow. Our server complained because we asked for more ice when our drinks came out with hardly any. He was also very awkward. From start to finish it took about 2 hours. That is way longer than I want to be in an ihop.

The food was correct and tasted great, but the service wasn’t friendly. The table mats had an ad stating that if your server doesn’t mention IHOP gift cards, then you can get a free stack of pancakes the next time you come in. When the check came I asked about this and my server said she has to mention the gift cards to get the free pancakes… that’s the complete opposite of the ad. I would appreciate if the restaurant didn’t advertise deals if they aren’t willing to follow through with them.

Hello, I was at your store Saturday December 6^th. My family and I were planning on a nice birthday breakfast for my husband before we both had to rush off to work. We drove 25 minutes to get there. We let Sareya know we were a table of three and a half, as I was holding my infant and our son was with us. She laughed and repeated– so she heard us correctly. We waited for a table for twenty minutes. We were fine until they called our name. Emilia approached us and immediately complained about us being four. Rather then say there was a confusion and have us wait, which would have been fine, she lectured us all the way to our table about how we are four people, not three, and we need to say such. We asked her multiple times to stop, but she even carried on while handing us our menus. We were sick of it. Walked right out. And since we wasted so much time on such horrible customer service, we could not go anywhere else but fast food before going to work. We don’t have any other time to celebrate it this week.

Carlos provided excellent customer service for us. From the 11 minute wait to the time we were seated it was a great experience the meal was hot and very delicious. Our waiter was very attentive to our needs, this is what expected when you dine out for breakfast super early on a Saturday. Great experience.

Food is really nasty. It’s all cold even right when they make it and bring it out. and the seating in the store is really small. I’ve been here 5 times and never went back after until today and I thought the food would had improve. But it’s still gross and cold. They need to get a new chef or a new manager that knows how to manage their employees. Didn’t find anything good about this place but just the name. That’s why it get two stars. Ihop is still one of my favorite place to go to for breakfast.

I stopped in for breakfast and was given a menu in which the breakfast pages were stuck together. Not your typical restaurant stuck together in which you could easily pull them apart. I mean really stuck to where I asked for another menu.
When I was able to order my food, it came out quickly and correctly. It was also hot and very tasty. The only reason I’m giving it a 2 star rating and not a 3. Is because I don’t believe the quality of the food I received was good enough to offset the menu issue. I understand it’s a restaurant and menu pages are going to get stuck together, but I think this was a big oversight and should be addressed.

I enjoy this location and come here quite frequently, about 2 – 3 times a month and have been for the past several years. The service is fast, food is consistently good and the employees are very friendly and attentive.
I like to eat the stuffed french toast with strawberries and the big steak omelette. Both dishes are delicious and it’s always a nice hefty portion of food. The bacon can be a hit or miss, either burnt or just crunchy. If you want «real eggs» you need to ask for them. The hash browns are also yummy with the top being golden brown and crunchy just like I like it. I know most people don’t come for the non-​breakfast foods but the steak and cheese is boommbbb!!! The cheese is dripping out from the side with tender pieces of steaks and grilled onions. Yum!
Ridiculously crowded on the weekends starting around 9am and the wait is usually 30 – 45 minutes if you’re lucky. I try to avoid the weekends here unless its at 10 pm or later. No matter what time of the day it is the food is always good. This is one of my favorite IHOP location (other one is in Ballston) and never fails to disappoint me!

This hasn’t always been the greatest IHOP ever, but it certainly gets the job done. It is being renovated and already looks cleaner than ever, so I’m a fan of that! I also have never been here during peak breakfast hours, so I can’t be a good judge of that. I’m more of a breakfast any time kinda gal.
Our server was a little creepy, but attentive and could predict our needs before we asked. That’s awesome. Our food was correct, hot, and delicious.
I ordered the strawberry vanilla stuffed french toast with the 2 bacon + 2 sausage combo. The combo obviously comes with 2 bacon strips and 2 sausage links, but also hashbrowns and 2 eggs any way you’d like. Fatty heaven! I don’t recommend this if you’re on a diet but booooooooy is it GOOD!

I can’t even really say I am fond of IHOP… especially this one. However, it is located right across the street from our house and since the little people in my life are obsessed with oatmeal (I swear my kid is an old man lol) and pancakes, sometimes I just end up here.
On this most recent visit, my little prince woke up and firmly stated that he wanted pancakes… at 4AM… and he specifically stated he wanted them from the pancake place with the I H O and P on it. He did not want Mommy to make them lol. So off to IHOP we went for a special Mommy and Prince breakfast.
Not only had he been super excited for pancakes, but we had an unexpected visitor that morning so he was a bit testy for his pancakes. If he could’ve cooked them himself I am sure he would’ve gone in the back and taken over the griddles lol. For some odd reason, the server assigned to our section disappeared and no one came over to us for over 15 minutes. I didn’t even realize it had been that long until another server came over and asked if we had been helped. Tsk, tsk. Needless to say, my little person’s patience were just about gone by the time they finally brought our food out.
I was happy to see that they got our orders perfect and no further assistance was needed. My baby had his pancakes, I had a salad (I know… who gets a salad at a pancake house lol) and once again all was well in our little world.
I am giving them three stars because:
— If the prince isn’t happy, no one is happy… check your tables people. Here’s a hint, keep the little people happy and you will always get AT LEAST a 25% tip from this Mommy.
— The last time we were there with my sister and her little ones, they literally messed up every single item on our order.
I will update this in the future if there are improvements. But its IHOP… I will probably keep coming back no matter what.
