Greetings, I have been working on my dream pool project now for the last 2 years and have to say where other pool builders would literally walk away with no further communication, Tribal Waters took on the challenge and has been exceptional in many ways. I have learned a great deal about the Pool process — and perhaps many take it the wrong way as it is not«cookie cutter» or even as traditional as building a house — there is a great deal of decisions. Unless these are really discussed and confimed, it can lead to dis-satisfaction. Over the years, I have seen the various trades/sub crafts move in/out of Tribal, so that is something that is central to all business processes — including home building, where you have work that needs to be done by a given specialist — and different levels of abilities. And unlike other contractors — they have been fantastic to correct any/all problems with equipment or issues that arise. This is something that many other trades, simply do not do. Tribal Waters focuses on custom jobs and remodels — they have been wonderful at bringing my ultimate dream to light — It is the World’s FIRSTEVERSOLARPOWEREDSURFPARK. Yes, literally, I surf in my backyard, and with the updates in the coming months, I will be able to handle up to 225 lbs per person. Enclosed are some pictures — AND Google the following: ” Surfing Middle Desert” [the first version done 2 years ago] or feel free to ask more questions of me, directly. Sure, it might be cheaper to fly/Drive to San Diego, but now, with the swipe of my fingers on my smartphone, I can surf in my backyard, with a nearly zero electric bill, year round, and share this experience with my clients and friends. The pool itself looks beautiful with numerous fountains and waterfalls, even at night, rivaling Las Vegas! Ultimately– instead of a dirt backyard or simple kidney pool, Tribal Waters has enabled me to come home to a resort experience that rivals the best destinations in the world. Will update more when I finish the project this year!

I would definitely NOT recommend this company. As stated in many previous reviews — the communication is terrible. The only good part of the experience was with our salesperson Gary. However about two weeks into the build I received an email from the company stating that Gary was no longer with the company and to call with questions. They couldn’t even bother to call me personally. First off — the timing quote was terrible. I was originally told 6 to 8 weeks. Then I was told 6 to 8 weeks from the time of pool layout(which took almost three weeks to get someone out to do). We signed our contract July 31st and the pool was«completed»(with many issues to fix) the third week of October. I was originally told that Tribal Waters does everything in house. Not true — they contract out for almost everything and I had issues with almost every step of the process. A list of issues(not in order) — they did decking before the interior of the pool — which caused issues with the deck. They forgot to drill the holes for umbrellas into the concrete — so they said no problem that comes after the completion(which is absurd). It tooks weeks after pool was complete to get it done. After the had to repair cool deck — I found paint stains on the interior of the pool from being sloppy — which now won’t come out. They never returned to paint the gate they promised to do. I had nothing but communication issues with the staff — Janelle and the others literally don’t know what they are doing half of the time. They even told me that the guy who does their gate repair was not good and they had to find another company. We also had issues with landscaping and how they ran plumbing. The original design was set around a mound with a palm tree/hibiscus that we were trying to protect. They tore right through that mound and ripped out the hibiscus… and completely ruined the entire irrigation system. I understand that the contract states that issues with irrigation might happen(although I was home when they started excavation and watched the man on the bobcat run the irrigation wire around the wheel without even realizing it and then cut it to get it out). However the pool was designed around a specific part of the landscaping that they just disregarded. I feel this was a communication issue between salesperson/project manager/workers. There are endless more issues — from follow up/communication with their project manager Fred to just issues with the steps that they take to contract out. I’ve read the other reviews and they are all spot on — this is not a good company to go with. Their office/sales space is impressive and it feels right — however once you sign it will turn into a nightmare. I literally had to threaten going to the bank to process a return on a cashed check and reaching out to the BBB/AZ registrar of contractors to get them to finish up — and like I said they never painted the gate they said they would(which I still have to do) and I have paint splattered on my interior. Think twice before signing a contract with Tribal Waters.

Avoid this company at all costs! They bid on our backyard project but couldn’t be bothered to tell us they were contracting the entire project out to another company that is in no way affiliated with them and has no web presence, except for a handful of bad reviews. We had nothing but issues with the company, Senior Saguaro. If we hadn’t had a third party to help oversee the project it never would have been completed. One of the reasons we chose Tribal in the first place(other than the reviews and their website, which turned out to be useless) was because they said they could start in two weeks. We weren’t even contacted by anyone for 10 days, well past the 3 day period where we could have cancelled the project and long after they’d cashed our 50% deposit. They also didn’t tell us that it would take over 3 weeks for the project to be completed and two more weeks for them to do an extremely poor job of cleaning up all the materials(our HOA just loved that). Any company that would pull this sort of shady crap is untrustworthy and dishonest.

We have had our pool for three years now and I wanted to update my review of Tribal Waters. Although we experienced problems I expressed in my previous review, I want to say now how much we enjoy our pool now! It is wonderful to swim in everyday and it looks beautiful in our yard! The equipment works great and we have had no problems! In all fairness we love our pool!

Tribal waters and oasis green did an amazing job with our back yard. They were very professional and willing to correct any issues we had during the building process. I highly recommend both of these companies.
