I work in Century City and i order from this place all the time. The Kung Pao Chicken is made with REAL breast chicken and tastes delicious. They had delivered it to me a couple of times with the wrong order but after speaking to Edwin he took care of everything and i haven’t ever had an issue again. Food is great and the manager there knows how to take care of the customers. Thanks Edwin.

Boy has this place gone downhill!!! I hadn’t been there in a couple of years as I was not working in Century City. Prices have gone up and the portions and quality have gone down. I ordered one of my favorites, their Mongolian Beef extra spicy. They used to give you a large plastic container full of food. Now you get a small typical paper take out container that was partially filled. A lot less!!! Plus the prices have gone up so it is now over $ 14 when you add tax. The worst part is that is without rice!!! They charge extra for rice. They were not busy(probably because of the prices) but it still took forever to get my food. Food was tasty but not worth the wait or the money. Don’t think I will be back anytime soon. Too bad, I used to go there every week or so. No more!

Teetering between 2 – 3 stars. But I’ve come here multiple times due to convenience so that’s a 3(3 for maybe I’ll be back, 2 is yea I ain’t coming back) This is your typical«Asian fusion cuisine» with a mix of Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Thai. Lol that’s just too much to conquer all at once, so I don’t blame Sen for pretty much failing at all except for the Japanese. I’ve tried their Chinese dishes before(Kung Pao Chicken, Broccoli with Beef) and let’s just say they’re wayy worse than Panda for imitating Chinese food. Skip the Chinese dishes! For their Japanese items, I’ve ordered many of their rolls before: — Spicy tuna roll @ $ 6.50(3⁄5 stars): average. OK tasting spicy tuna, but nothing super wrong. — Salmon avocado roll @ $ 8.50(3⁄5 stars): Salmon is OK quality, but a little«stiff». — Salmon Delight Roll @ $ 13(3.5÷5 stars): Salmon sashimi and avocado on top of a salmon avocado cut roll. This adds more fish to the regular salmon avocado cut roll, therefore«delight». It’s better but also way pricier. — Yellowtail Delight Roll @ $ 15(2⁄5 stars): Yellowtail sashimi and avocado on top of a yellowtail with scallions cut roll. Ehhh, this was a little below average. The yellowtail isn’t very fresh and tastes a little off. OVERALL Sometimes I find myself debating whether I should get lunch at Sen Asian Kitchen(I work in the twin towers so… super convenient for the lazy). But it’s ALWAYS a debate, not an easy choice because 1. Pricey for the quality you get 2. Because pricey, I don’t order as much as I need to be full Thus, 3 stars. Sen Asian Kitchen is an A-OK restaurant.

There is only 1 item in the menu i get, and its the chicken bowl, its a good size and priced comparable to similar items in nearby restaurants. The taste its ok, not great, not bad. Everything else is overpriced. The people are are nice, but they’ve gotten my order wrong many times. I think the problem is they are always busy so they dont pay attention to detail and that’s why the majority of the reviews are not past 3 stars. With the restaurant always looking busy I doubt the owners care to review the comments on Unilocal and notice that most people don’t really care for this place. This place could be so much better if they kitchen and staff paid more attention to detail to justify the prices.

I used to work here few months, I wanna recommends some menu. General Tso’ chicken is best in our staff and Mongolian beef is nice as well. Kungpao chicken is most popular in customers and orange chicken is next popular menu. Try General tso ckn! It is so nice. Here is so clean and we tried to service faster than before. :)

Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Sen used to have truly good pan asian food, in decent portions and at reasonable(but not cheap) prices. Over the past four-plus years, the quality has gone WAY down, the portions have shrunk to almost half(that is not an exaggeration), and the prices have gone way UP. NO justification for this. I’ve tried emailing management on a couple of occasions to address the MULTIPLE issues I’ve had, and never received a response. My only conclusion is that they don’t care. If I could drop this to NO stars, I would. Somebody needs to take a serious look at quality, quantity and the most basic customer service at this place. It’s pathetic how much it’s gone down.

Sadly this place went from mediocre to bad. In the past the service was never great and many times they forgot your order. We decided to try it out just to see if the new management improved. Now they still seem to be struggling — even though they new management has been in place for a while now. Sadly — I won’t be going back.

My experience here goes to show, NEVERLOWERYOURSTANDARDSDUETODESPERATION. I REPEAT, NEVERLOWERYOURSTANDARDSDUETODESPERATION. I was desperate, in that I had a strong and werid craving for hot and sour soup. Seeing that Sen was closest in proximity, I ventured there during the lunch hour despite being aware of the terrible reviews and low rating. The food here is pretty terrible. Ordered a hot and sour soup(small size~$ 4), which was below average, mediocre at best. Now that’s fine because I got what I asked for, BUT the real star of this review goes to their seaweed salad. The seaweed salad was room temperature(but that’s not what was really bad). What was REALLY bad was that the pickled carrots that came on top of the seaweed smelled and tasted kind of like bleach or chlorine. like WTF how is that even possible or sanitary. HEALTHINSPECTOR, you need to come here and check on these carrots man. Cuz if that’s not bad(your food smelling like bleach), I don’t know what is. Concept is cool and customer service was nice, deserving of a solid 2. But moral of the story is, never lower your standards on food when you’re desperate.

Food is so-so. Location is good if you work in Century City. Service is really poor. Waited 20 minutes. Ask server to check. Waited another 10 minutes, asked again.

Their food is bland and overpriced. The only reason why it’s in business is because it is very convenient as it is located next to the century city office buildings/CAA, century twin towers.

Lo Me in was horrible and had a chemical taste. Overpriced. Kung pao was mediocre. Chicken salad was actually pretty good. Don’t come here unless you have to. Panda Express is better than this place.

All the empty tables are dirty or filled with dirty dishes. Ugh. Pretty expensive for«food court» fare. Go somewhere else.

I went to Sen Asian Kitchen two times in October 2014 for lunch with a friend. We had a Living Social deal so we decided to take several entrees to make it as worth it as possible. We took the General Tso Chicken, the Kung Pao Chicken, the Orange Chicken, the Rainbow Roll Sushi, the Caterpillar Roll, and the Dragon Roll. These meals were pretty large for the price and also pretty good tasting. The restaurant was pretty full when we arrived(It was about 12pm) but we were able to find a table easily. The service was decently fast and nice. The restaurant is located in the middle of corporate buildings, so be ready for a food court experience with cafeteria style ordering. Unfortunately, the restaurant does not offer parking. You can either use the quite expensive valet parking nearby or try your luck with street parking farther away. Overall, my experience with Sen Asian Kitchen was positive and I would recommend it if you are in the area and need a quick lunch. Feel free to message me for any additional details that you may need!

My wife had a Living Social deal she needed to use. I think we were both expecting your usual sushi restaurant, but this is more of a food court experience complete with cafeteria style ordering. I don’t like ordering that way, especially something like sushi that my spouse and I tend to eat in a more communal fashion and that requires us to come up with an order together. The ordering system is too rushed and complicated. The tables inside looked dirty and the ones outside contained remnants of many previous meals. It was not in any way appetizing. Our food was just not good. I guess it’s what you might expect from food court sushi, but we did spend over $ 40. The steamed dumplings were not good at all. The tofu in the stir fried tofu with black mushrooms dish was overdone and tasted like it was not fresh. My vegetarian sushi was just OK. Not bad but certainly not good. I wouldn’t come back and if you happen to be in the area or stuck working in the huge office building that houses this food court, I’d look around for better options. This isn’t a good choice.

This was a mistake from the very beginning. I bought a Living Social deal($ 20 for $ 40 worth of food/drink) and THOUGHT I was buying it for Yen Sushi, a fine little place in Studio City. I of course did not read carefully enough or I would have noticed this is in Century City and not in any way the same place. And this deal was only good for lunch. And I call myself a «daily deal» expert? I wasn’t going to miss out on using my coupon though, so I finally found a time during the week that my SO and I could meet up for lunch. Sen Asian Kitchen doesn’t seem to have a website, so we weren’t entirely sure about prices or selection. It’s located in a huge office complex and pretty much your only parking option is the pricey garage. I don’t think Sen validates. I recommend making time for a visit to The Annenberg Space for Photography, which is in the same building and DOES validate, after your lunch. Or should I say after your disappointing lunch. Yeah, let’s just assume that. Ordering here is an absolute s*it show. It’s cafeteria style from order boards and there are long impatient lines during lunch. I do NOT think cafeteria style is the best way to order sushi… at least for me, it takes some time to weigh the options and come up with a sharing/dining plan. But there isn’t time to do that because you need to keep the line moving. I was already unhappy. Finally ordered and went to a table outside to await our food. That table was completely disgusting. It was wood with lots of deep grooves and that was just a BAD design decision because acres of food is shoved into every crack on the table. It’s so gross. They need to junk these tables and start over. But honestly, the plastic tables inside didn’t look very clean either. This place needs a thorough scrubbing. Our steamed vegetable dumplings were awful… sticky, with an «off» taste. I couldn’t even choke down one. An order of tofu with mushrooms in a brown sauce was also pretty bad… the tofu was like chewing on an old dish towel — hell I can make better tofu and that is something I have never cooked well. And the brown sauce is just overladen with MSG — so salty it’s almost painful to eat. We tried 3 kinds of sushi and it was all just«OK». And that’s the only reason for the two-stars… passable sushi. It’s about as good as the sushi you’d find at a Whole Foods. If you see a deal for this place, don’t be as careless as me and buy it. Just say NO. Even if you are going to the Annenberg, there are some better dining options in this corporate building behemoth — like the always reliable Cuvee. Stay away from the Sen… it’s pretty bad.

Lunch combination with cashew chicken, chinese chicken salad and fried rice for $ 10.95. Well actually they charged me $ 1.00 extra for fried rice. Cashew chicken: not the best cashew chicken but it wasn’t too bad. I tasted oyster sauce and the zucchini was kinda good. Fried rice: your average fried rice. Chinese chicken salad: shredded lettuce, chicken breast, carrots, toasted almonds, white and brown crunchies, scallions. I did not like my salad at all. I took few bites and stopped eating. Indoor and outdoor seatings. Great service. 2.5 stars! Sen Asian Kitchen is not that yummylicious!

Based on one visit, I can’t get too Two Starr’d about Sen. At the very least, the place looks great, the people were friendly enough, my friend’s Bento Box looked very good(and he said it tasted as much), and my simple CCS was edible. CCS of course is the Chinese Chicken Salad. Yes, I think I found the most boring thing on the menu — and the menu has a lot to offer. I kept looking for the fabled small dishes — the eggplant, the mushroom tofu thingy — alas, I didn’t see it. Having read great things about the Chinese Chicken Salad, I went with that. The dressing(on the side) was the most interesting part about it. And, used sparingly, it gave the salad a much needed zip. Otherwise, it was mostly what appeared to be head lettuce with strips of boiled chicken and some tasty crunchy sin in the form of freshly fried wonton crisps. So, OK, maybe I’ll try the Bento the next time. But at the very least, Sen merits another visit.

Ordered online from Seamless for pick-up at 12pm. My order wasn’t even ready when I came to pick it up. It wasn’t ready until 12:20pm. That defeats the purpose of making the order and paying for it well in advance to make sure my order is ready by 12pm. Time really matters for me because I only have a 30 lunch break. Calculating the time it takes down the elevator, walking to Sen, walking back to my building, and going up the elevator(not including any elevator wait time) — with my order 20 minutes late, I hardly had time left in my lunch break. I work in 2029 Century Park East. Sen is just few steps away from me, but I won’t be coming back.
