I eat at Cuvee often because it is mere steps from my workplace and the offerings seem fresh, creative and vary from week to week. Considering that, I will continue to dine on the tasty dishes ignoring the seeming disinterested, portly, elderly man behind the register who takes your order and rings it up without a word, smile or even eye contact. The dearth of good, moderately priced and healthy eateries in Century City cause Cuvee to remain on my list of go-to places for lunch. Their salmon is my lunchtime favorite.

I decided to check the place out since some of my coworkers seem to like it. Me, unfortunately, did not have a great first impression. I got to Cuvee around 11:30, before the whole lunch crowd arrived. Yet I kept seeing people who came after me leaving the place with their lunches in their hands while I was patiently waiting. What did I order? A portobello mushroom sandwich. I was foolish enough to give them the benefit of the doubt and waited for about 15 minutes before I decided to ask about what was going on. I did not receive a clear answer but did get my sandwich 5 minutes later without a word of apology. Seriously, 20 minutes for a portobello mushroom sandwich was ridiculous enough, but the guy’s attitude was even more appalling. Now I know why reviewers complained about their service. Cuvee is one place I won’t visit again. There are plenty of other lunch options nearby.

Where to start… 35 minutes for a bagel and smoked salmon. I don’t know so much how to run a restaurant but I think the food cost is the base. The bagel was so covered with smoke salmon that it made it horrible… And if you want give a fruit salad please make sure that is not from the day before. I understand the dream to open a place and it look nice but you need a real chef in the back of the house. A baker doesn’t make a Chef and also… Please have fun and fantasy with food… Not just coping some other place makes your menu! Create a menu with your taste and give us the opportunity to learn your vision. The place looks nice, some of the staff is friendly and now work on the food. I live in the neighborhood and for sure I will come back because I believe in support the local restaurants.

I’m kind of bummed because I actually really liked the food here. I really liked the salmon I had and the salad options. But both of the times I went they got my order wrong which was upsetting and then I found a hair that was definitely not mine in my food. I liked the outdoor seating, inside you might be a bit more cramped and its darker. I think upon first entering you can get a little overwhelmed because there are so many choices! I would recommend taking a look at the menus then going to wait in the line. There is a salad bar portion where you pick a cold ever and some sizes as well as a kitchen menu. The kitchen menu takes a little longer so it might cause a bit of a wait difference if you’re there with other people. The location is really convenient for a lot of the century city offices.

Eh, it’s ok. Definitely convenient for people who work in Century City, but it’s not awesome. I recently had the daily special which was a sesame seed-crusted ahi tuna with quinoa and salad and overall I thought it was just fine. The crust on the fish was yummy, but the fish itself was not top-of-the-line(I mean, it was only $ 13). The salad was ok. A little soggy, but the quinoa was a nice touch. I will say they had a bunch of make-your-own options up at the counter where you can pick and choose a protein with two sides/salads, and maybe I should have done that. Next time! It’s nice they have an outdoor patio, but honestly the service is pretty terrible. They served my coworker his food like 10 minutes before me which was just kind of awkward, and then they totally forgot to bring his side soup at all. When he flagged down one of the servers, the guy barely looked at him — not a big deal, just a little rude.

Cuvee is great. The staff is friendly and helpful, there is plenty of seating(both indoor & outdoor), and the food is satisfying. If you enjoy wine, this place is even better– all of the walls are coated in bottles upon bottles. The usual crowd here are people who work the 9 – 5 weekday shenanigans in the surrounding buildings. If it’s your lucky day, you might even catch a glimpse of a random celebrity! Their happy hour is pretty sweet, and also usually the only time I go. The Chicken Satay is scrumptious as well as the Parmesan French Fries(both are on the HH menu). A few dollars can also be saved on certain glasses of wine and beer. Aside from that, the food and drinks can be a little pricy but always worth it. They serve some picnic style food so you can grab & go if you’re in a rush and don’t have time to order from the menu. Most of the food they serve is considered healthy(…but you’ll still find me ordering the Parm French Fries).

Horrific service! I ordered a salad with salmon and it tasted like a salt lick so I sent It back and they sent it back completely raw… not rare but RAW! They refused to refund my money and screamed at me and told me to never come back again! Fuck you very much, I won’t be coming back!

To all my CC friends: If you place a phone order for delivery, be prepared to receive your(cold) food about ANHOURAND A HALF later. If you really want their food that badly, then call them WAY in advance to get it WAY later. Or here’s a better alternative: don’t waste your time with them and order with someone else.

I work very close by so this is one of my go-to lunch spots. Have really healthy options. The specials are usually really good, with loads of seafood options(always cooked well). The quinoa is cooked and seasoned perfectly. I always get it no matter what I order as the main plate. The salmon is always decent. The sea bass is great. Melt in your mouth great. They also have a great wine selection and really delicious desserts. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating. The parking situation is really bad — that’s why I only eat there because i have parking through work. Wouldn’t otherwise pay for super expensive Century City parking just to grab a bite. The service can be somewhat slow during the lunch rush. But that’s to be expected given the number of patrons they serve in the weekday lunch hours.

Out of all the restaurants around this area Cuvée is the only one I actually enjoy. Food is great. Service is good and prices aren’t out of this world.

I like Cuvee, and don’t understand the so-so reviews. In the couple trips I’ve been here, the food was delicious, and the staff unfailingly helpful. Literally, I was just browsing the first time. The were apparently offering samples of soup.(Or maybe I just overheard someone ask for a sample and thought that was a reasonable scam, jk) Really, though, the soup was awesome and obviously created by some gifted culinary people. I like that they have food to take out for a picnic, as well as food ready to eat right there. I like looking at the wine bottles available, and am eager to pop by for their fabled Happy Hour. I came by for lunch last week, and loved it. The(non-Chilean) sea-bass is cooked to order, so it might take a minute. It’s well worth it. Flavorful, sauteed and served atop a Mexican Caesar Salad. Wait, didn’t the Caesar originate in Mexico anyway? Yes, and it’s healthful, hearty with everything so fresh. Def Rec. My friend had a Turkey Burger, which looked fabulous, and the report came back that it was. Next time.

Since I work nearby, Cuvee is a great option if I’m not feeling like eating greasy delicious burger-type food from The Stand(an equally awesome place). I know for some people this is pricy, but if you don’t eat a ton then this is perfect. I got two sides: Mushroom Pasta(SOGOOD! With THyme!!) and Roasted Veggies. Came out to around $ 10 and they really filled up the plastic to-go box. I could have easily made that into two meals, or three snack-type meals. It is a tad on the oily/saltier side – but I personally like that and again, since I’m not devouring the whole thing it is not overwhelming. I would NOT drive all over here just to come here. Parking is costly and c’mon there are better places to eat, you’re in LA!!! But for a quick work lunch – perfecto.

Tasty high quality lunches served on China plates with real silverware. And then you can sit outside of the beautiful CAA building’s courtyard and watch the rest of century city walk by. Good ol century city lunches! I love their grilled salmon and two salads option, their pink pasta, and their awesome pumpernickel bread they serve. It gets really busy during lunchtime so come early. If I could eat here everyday without breaking the bank, I would! There’s so much variety on the menu, you could always try something different. They also deliver!

What a great lunch! I had a great fish special that not only visually appealed, but was absolutely delicious. Quick delivery of my plated meal was a plus too. Meals are best taken on the outdoor patio where you can enjoy the great weather and watch the busy people stroll by, and if you are in to star watching you may see one of those too, but hey it is outside of CAA. People are working, so don’t be rude ;-) I’ll go back and in fact I think I will go back quite often. If only I had known earlier! I’ll be back! You should go! Parking — park in the garage on the first level if you can and take the steps directly to the courtyard, it’s a great shortcut. Parking isn’t cheap, it was $ 24 during the hourish I was there, but validation was provided by the restaurant and thus I only had to pay $ 3. Can’t wait to go back!

Been staying at Hyatt across the street for a couple of weeks and eaten here many times. Always terrific! From turkey burger to pasta with chicken or great salads with salmon or tuna… never a miss! Ingredients always fresh, great fast service whether eat in or to go. Wine list(both imports and domestic) is impressive for where it is. Very nice selection of bottles to purchase. Baked goods are excellent!

I’d been trying to catch this place while they were open for months. I have gone to the Annenberg Space for Photography(which everyone needs to check out) for several showings and I finally got a chance to eat there on a weekday. I had the Cobb salad… it was simply scrumptious. Since I go to this part of Century City on the rare occasions, this will be my lunch pace. The service is friendly. I did figure out that it can get a bit crowded from all the workers of the surrounding business buildings.

More like 3.5 stars I’ve ordered from this place twice so far, both delivery. Pasta with grilled chicken breast, sun dried tomatoes, spinach, parm cheese in a pomodoro sauce $ 12.95 — It was okay. This dish alone was maybe 3 stars. I got tired of this dish quickly, nothing great about it. Pasta with grilled chicken in spicy pink sauce $ 12.95 — DELICIOUS entrée! Great flavors, but wished they had more veggies or something else in the dish. Maybe asparagus or green beans or something that can give it a bite. But overall, i love this pasta dish! Cauliflower Soup $ 4 – 5: Not good. Boring. Don’t order it.

Cuvee is a small restaurant that serves beer and wine. It’s right under the Annenberg Foundation. It has a small bar area and tables inside and outside. The wait staff are really nice and really attentive. It’s the place where you go to have a few beers and dinner when you don’t want to walk to the mall or go to X bar. The food is good. They have pasta dishes, burgers, and sandwiches, which are all pretty pricey. The happy hour specials are really good relatively speaking for the area. The Great White Ale is good for the price. The burger is pretty good. It comes with caramelized onions and fries. The chicken pot stickers are good, but cool out pretty fast after it hits your table. I would definitely come back to Cuvee and have been there a number of times. It’s small, intimate and without the loud crowd.

The salads are quite good and filling — namely the grilled salmon salad and the chicken breast salad. Quality and size of the salmon filet used is good! Avoid the cookies, as they are overly sweet and seem to all be sugar cookies even if they’re called something else, but the pastries are all pretty good(fruit cobbler, apple tart, red whoopie pie, etc.). Lattes are average. Price point is $ 10-$ 15 per entrée, so I see this as more of a dinner place than a casual quick lunch. *Update* I have returned for a sit down dinner and it was quite nice at the outdoor tables and in the always beautiful CAA courtyard space. The bread they give you at the beginning is like a thin baked herb pita which is scrumptious. We had the cheese plate(delicious and fresh with walnuts and grapes and bread) and I tried the grilled salmon entrée with spinach and quinoa which was superbly cooked. No complaints and happy hour has great prices(my friend got a huge angus burger for $ 7)

Of all the restaurants around my work, Cuvee is one of my favorites!!! The selection itself is great, ranging from deli sandwiches/wraps and different types of fresh salads. Q — Quinoa served here(along with some other healthy options)!! U — Unbelievably amazing beet salad! C — Cold salad variety too! K — Killer spot for business people to drink after work I — Inventive way to serve wraps(grilled panini style) E — Enough selection to satisfy carnivores and herbivores Some of my favorites are the beet salad, pastrami wrap, pasta w/chicken and veggies. Dine in service is just ok, but their delivery is amazingly speedy! My only gripe about Cuvee is that the prices are slightly higher than competing restaurants in the same strip.
