I have been here on two occasions and each time the food has been amazing I’ve hsd everything but the scallops, because apparently no one wanted to share and ate all of eqch each time I went, the Oxtail ravioli is my favorite. The menu periodically changes and I definitely have to go back to see whats different. Worth the hour drive there advise getting the course meal and try everything though there are entrees now for those who want more.

This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Every dish was surprisingly delicious, unique, and had a beautiful presentation. The people who work here really take care of you, the service was lovely. It was totally worth the drive. And it was only $ 40 for 5 courses!

I am usually too lazy to write reviews, but I love supporting startups and hole in the wall restaurants like Sunday Kitchen. Plus, the food here is delicious and the plating is beautiful. During my five course menu with the hubby a couple days ago, I almost didn’t want to eat the dishes because they were too pretty. I ended up taking photos of my dishes to make up for it. xD(I’ve posted some). Favorites: sesame chicken bun & braised oxtail. This place is great for dates and people who like bold, asian-inspired flavors. Definitely would come back again, they just need to be open on days other than Sunday! *hint hint*

5 courses that tell a tasty story with a sweet, happy ending. Each course is well executed. Effortless, but yet thoughtful. Highlights: Wild mushroom tempura, Brussel sprouts, pork belly, oxtail ravioli, jasmine panna cotta, & mango sticky rice. Service is prompt, but not overbearing. Price for 5 courses is en pointe. Go. Highly recommend.

I was excited to try this new Pop-up based on a friends recommendation. After my experience with Sunday Kitchen, I think that I may start to become a regular. Staff are warm and welcoming. It’s a small and cozy location where Silk Thai usually operates. The ideal place to take a date. Courses present in a steady pace throughout the night and staff are very attentive to your needs. The food was phenomenal. My personal favorites were the oxtail ravioli and the soft shell crab. A full bodied experience of sight, taste, and texture. I was getting full coming to dessert but had to make room for mango sticky rice! Pricing was very reasonable, almost a steal really, a set menu of 5 courses with two options per course. Better to come with at least one other so you can try all the dishes. Street parking was easy to find and no meter on Sunday. It was getting busy so definitely recommend rsvp. Overall excellent experience. Can’t wait to come here again!

I came with a date, so we ordered one of each with shared plates. Food Course 1: can’t go wrong with either options. Scallops won for me however– mainly because I’m not even a scallop person. But that dish was out of this world. Very light and summery. I now believe in scallop. Course 2: Brussels sprouts won. Crispy Brussels with a tinge of lime. So fresh! The other option– Mushroom was lightly fried, very crispy. Pretty good too. But the Brussels sprout happened to hit me spot on. Course 3: another difficult choice. Soft shell crab was perfectly fried, with perfectly seasoned garlic noodles. Sesame chicken bun was very soft, with perfectly fried chicken. If I had to pick, I’d go with the bun Course 4: Pork belly all the way. If you’re wondering how perfect pork belly tastes like, try it here. Oxtail ravioli was also pretty delish– oxtail filling was spot on. But, lost to the delish pork belly. It was an unfair battle. Course 5: last but not least. I will not be forced to decide between 2 most delish desserts. One of the best desserts you’ll ever have. Portion/pricing: after 5 courses, I was heavenly stuffed. That was one of the most well priced meal. I felt like I stole from them. I think they should go up on the price, but I’m not gonna complain– I’ll just keep eating and shut my mouth: P Ambience: small cozy restaurant. Not too packed where you have no room to walk around. Easy, soothing music, not too loud where you have to shout to hear your companions. Great date place. Service: super friendly staff, with fine dining service. Smooth transition from course to course. Didn’t have to ask for refills. Spot on service. What else can you ask for? Overall, this place is a gem. I didn’t even want to leave a review because I don’t want other people to find out about my secret food spot. But I was given the responsibility to save the world– one delicious dish at a time. Ps. All the plating was spot on. But I was so excited to eat the food I forgot to take pictures. By the time I remembereded, I finished the plate already. What can I say, I’m a beast.

Came here for their soft opening. This only opens on Sundays when SILK Thai Cuisine is closed, hence the«POP-UP» of the name. SCALLOPS are my favorite. Sunday Kitchen offers a light Thai spice(non-spicy) kick. The texture is a perfect blend of seared, soft, and bouncy as it should be. It is paired with a light edamame sauce. AHITUNATARTAR also offers a light Thai-spice kick. It comes with pickled cucumbers and a nori chip. ROASTEDBRUSSELSPROUTS had great flavor and plated beautifully. The roasted cherry tomatoes gave the dish a taste of sweetness. WILDMUSHROOMS are one of my favorite dishes here. Can’t go wrong with the lightly fried variety of mushrooms with edamame sauce. SOFTSHELLCRAB came with the best garlic noodles with parmesan cheese I’ve had. The crab was fried and you can eat the shell. I’m usually not a fan of fried dishes, but this one is a winner. FRIEDCHICKENBUN is almost like the pork or duck buns found at Chinese restaurants. This chicken bun offers a savory, salty and crispy taste to satisfy your taste buds. OXTAIL is great! Braised for 12 hours, it is tender, juicy and complemented with daikon, mushrooms, and sweet potato. PORKBELLY is generally not my thing but this dish melted in my mouth so deliciously. The fat gave such an extraordinary salty-but-creamy taste that I wish I had more. PANNACOTTA came with fruits and one of the best home-made macroons I’ve ever had because it came with a real raspberry inside. The Jasmine Panna Cotta was fragrant and it smells like I’m eating flowers. Overall, this was a fun, great experience. I think it was satisfying for $ 40 since it was a higher-end four-course meal. You can bring your own alcohol!
