I’m speechless. Look closely at the photo above that I just posted and tell me how anybody can think this is close to even. One side of my head has hair three times longer than the other side. This is after two people tried to cut my hair. I still gave a $ 15 tip for effort, but I honestly don’t think they will see my business any longer. This is so unfortunate because they would have seen me every week since I just moved down the street. I don’t understand how they got such great reviews.

I’ve been to three barbers here; all great, all anticipated all my needs. Mr Lee is hilarious. He just told me he’d see me in 3000 miles for my oil change. Corny, but he ensures a friendly atmosphere, and haircuts are excellent at half the price of a salon.
I don’t live nearby but I make this a stop on my trips to Spa World two minutes away — with Bön Chon Chicken and Lighthouse Tofu in the same shopping center, that’s a perfect day.

Agree with other reviews, they are gentle and nice. Happy with my son’s hair cut. Hereafter will go there definitely

We found a barber shop that cut my sons hair right. We struggled with so many places to find the perfect place to cut his hair and we finally found it!
I explain how frustrated I was with his hair and they quickly took care of him. Not only were they gentle they were also very careful with him.

You can tell that this barber shop has been around for years and years! Mr. Le is always so welcoming and always has a line to get in his chair for a haircut. He knows everyone by name. You can tell that all the people here take their time in giving a haircut and are all friendly. One tip, it is CASH ONLY.

I got a great haircut at a great price! As others have noted, this is not the cleanest barbershop I have ever set foot in however, the quality of haircut is among the best I’ve had. Heck, I even had four people compliment me on my haircut — including to complete strangers. If you aren’t looking good when you leave here, you ugly.

I so badly wanted to like this place. I’ve been going here for the last 8 months with fairly good but inconsistent results. Every person seems to cut my hair different even though I ask for the same cut each time. Unfortunately, this last time just about did it for me. The guy who cut my hair, the younger gentleman of the 3, completely butchered my hair this time and even overcharged me, $ 15 instead of the usual $ 14. I tipped him $ 5 and didn’t realize his mistake till I got home although I was suspicious when he spent 15 min repeatedly shaving the same side of my head over and over. Why?! Well because I had a huge bald spot where he messed up big time and put a hole in my hair then tried to fix it by essentially giving me a buzz cut after I asked for a trim w/​the #3 clippers. Jesus man, just admit when you mess up! The rest of the people are all very good and I haven’t had a haircut I didn’t like except for this one guy. Beware!

Overall good hair cutters. Mr. Lee is my go-​to guy. I haven’t been to this shop in a little while because it’s a little bit of a drive just to get a haircut. Mr. Lee knows all of the repeat customers by name, and greets them by name when they enter the shop. They’re friendly and se hablan espanol. They only take cash, but this seems consistent with a lot of shops around northern Virginia. Years ago, back in the 2005 time frame, there was a female with long black hair who worked there. She had the second chair from the window. Literally best haircut from any barber ever. She left and I was never able to find which shop she went to. If anyone knows I would love to find her again… my hair misses her!

I went to Great Clips in Fairfax yesterday and got completely BUTCHERED! I saw some good reviews for this place on Unilocal and went in today. They fixed my hair! It looks really sharp. The barbers were personable and professional.

Up front: This is a Cash only joint. There’s a Navy Federal ATM right around the corner in case you forget.
Been going to Mr. Lee et al. for years. Have yet to be disappointed.
Price is reasonable and every barber I’ve had here has done a great job.

This is a go to place if you are looking for great Barbers, especially Mr. Lee. This shop is very friendly and is a family oriented atmosphere. I work in the area and my clients that live in the area highly recommended this shop. They have been very loyal to this shop for over 20 years or so. Mr. Lee knows all his clients by name and their story. Add me to the list of loyal clients.

My boyfriend has been coming here for years and years and has established practically a friendship with his barber, Mr. Le. He’s your typical hair dresser, talks and talks and it’s usually wildly entertaining. Tall tales and jokes are exchanged bi-​monthly on the regular and my honey always leaves lookin super sharp with a new ‘do. $ 14 haircut plus tip. Good deal, good hair cut.

Being going here for the past 15 years and always get a great haircut from Mr. or Mrs. Lee at a fair price. As others have said it is cash only but not really an issue if you know that going in. They usually have five or barbers working whenever I am in there (usually on the week-​end) so if you don’t have a favorite barber you will likely get served right away. If you do have to wait, there are a ton of magazines to flip through or sometimes they have the TV on if there is a big sporting event happening. Don’t think they offer Wifi but honestly never even bothered to check.

After two barber visits at other shops closer to home. I am back to Oanh to fix mistakes made by other barbers. She listens to excactly what you want and is always thorough assuring my cut is even. Highly recommend seeing Oanh or any of the barbers here. I’ve learned a hard lesson to stick with great service.

I will never come back here, they never clean their tools, chair, floor and hands. If you are looking for something cheap then heres your place. From the reviews i thought they are great but it turned out they are awful.

THE FINE DETAILS:
First professional cut in 4 years. Was tired of botch-​jobs and began buzzing my own hair. Rarely disappointed myself since I was in total control of the blending and length. Now that I wear it tight on the sides and longer on top, scissors are needed – along with a professional cutter.
Checked these guys out on Unilocal and seemed to have decent reviews. One negative stood out about them not being «white-​friendly». Maybe the guy who posted that comment walked in with the wrong attitude, so he was treated accordingly. I’m white as can be, and I was tended to promptly, politely, and professionally.
Mr. Lee sat me down and engaged in some initial conversation – just enough to make me welcome, and not too much that I felt like I was being interrogated. These guys know how a BARBER shop is run, and avoids that «salon» atmosphere entirely.
The cut was quick, clean, and Mr. Lee actually LISTENED to what I asked for and cut accordingly. Getting married in a few months and I know where my last cut before the special day will be.

Fairly priced haircut for men $ 14. They take their time in cutting my hair and are open early (I like to get my haircuts early).
This is a CASH only place though.

Been here once and had an ok cut. Mr Lee must be great cause peeps were lining up for him and hes talkative. One reviewer said that only black and Hispanics get good service. Huh? Most guys were white in there and looked like they were long time customers of Mr Lee. One 20 something came in and Mr Lee knew him since a small kid. The place could be a little cleaner which I did see hair in the drawers and on top of counter as another reviewer said.

My brother and I got a shave here on my wedding day and received what amounted to the equivalent of a butcher job. Several cuts and severe razor burn! Took 30 minutes! Won’t ever go back.

My husband loves this place! He’s been going to see Mr. Lee for years and always comes home looking sharp. He says Mrs. Lee does a great job too! The place is always busy but worth the wait. It’s the cheapest in town and they do it right.
