Barber toni took my hairline back after i specifically told him not to cut my hairline in the corners. Worst thing a barber can do is not listen and just cut you the way they want… although he may have been distracted because he spent the entire time shouting and arguing with another barber about what channel the tv was on. Over bad experience. The argument went on so long that all the customers were getting uncomfortable. I wont go back.

Negative on all these reviews. Go here if you want your line up f*cked up unless it’s by Luey– he’ll hook it up. Stay away otherwise.

I’ve been going for many, many years. The service is the best. I highly recommend the barbers; especially Mr. Otis, he is very reliable, and provides consistent cuts. I am greeted by the barbers both outside and inside the shop. And although I make appointments for a cut; if a barber sees me waiting, they always come up to me asking if I need help. A very friendly shop. I don’t feel like a number; but a valued customer.

I don’t know what some of these reviewers are talking about. Brought my son in today for the first time and we were greeted by two barbers and a customer right away(We are white). Everyone was very friendly and my son got a great cut. Price was great and the barber took his time and made sure my son’s hair was perfect. We will definitely return.

First time today. Great experience, and now realize the other reviewers didn’t understand how these places work. The people walked in after you and got helped before you because they came in earlier, let the barber know, then went somewhere else and came back. That is standard. Also, most people have their own barber, and when everyone is waiting for a particular person, the waits can be long. It’s not that you’re not going to be helped. It’s not that they’re making you last because you’re white. This is how every black barbershop in the country has worked for the last 40 years of my experience with them. And can we please talk about the greeting? What kind of greeting are you expecting? It’s not a restaurant. As for my experience, the place was great. Big, bright, clean. I was actually greeted by two barbers and a customer. One of the barbers stopped me on the way out and we talked about my car. Very friendly. I got a great cut, and the price is what I used to pay several years ago in a less expensive part of the country, so I was pleased with that as well. Several copies of the Washington Post. And lots of other businesses around if there’s a lot of people in front of you in line and you want to do something other than sit in the shop. I also loved that there were lots of parents having their kids’ hair cut. I hate to have to bring this up, but since the other reviewers seem to feel that there’s some kind of racial hierarchy in the shop, there was one Hispanic dude, two kids that looked Arab and one white person in there when I was there. The white person talked with the barbers more than anyone else in the shop, and not just from the seats, but even walking over and talking to with the barber. It’s too bad that people felt justified in drawing conclusions based on race because they didn’t understand the dynamics of the place. But, this is America. Race is the reason for everything, right?

These guys know what they’re doing. They understand that the aim of the game is to follow your client’s wishes and make them look great at the same time. I had a full time barbershop in Sterling and when I moved to Fairfax, I was concerned that I wouldn’t find a barbershop that can and style African American hair. This place is a bullseye!

Well, if you’re trying to get a good haircut, I wouldn’t know because the two times I went there no one offered to help me. First time I was in a rush, so didn’t feel like waiting too long. But the second time was even worse. That’s when I learned that I guess you have to be black to get noticed. I love fades because being a veteran, it was hard to find a good barber who knew what he was doing, so I’d go to a black barbershop. Which is what brought me here. But then again, I guess the color of my skin is still a factor because one of the barbers was just sitting for the whole 20 mins I was there waiting, and when another black customer came in, he went right past me and asked him if he came for a cut… That’s when I proceeded to leave and never come back.

I’d have to move them down the list 2 stars horrible customer service. I walked in and no one greeted. Sat for a minute and a barber that finished up ran out the door for a break, I waited, maybe he needed a smoke. After 10 minutes he came back and walked past me and just sat in his chair. WTF… and still no one offered to help. Yet, other people walked in that were black and were greeted. I would guess that they know the, but that’s not the point. oh well I gave my money elsewhere and I’m never coming here again… Your loss not mine

After moving to the area it took me about a good month to find a decent barbershop. I live in Fairfax and it was almost impossible. I asked a coworker about a barbershop and he recommended Perfections. I’ve been going ever since. The shop is in a great location and you can handle multiple errands in the vicinity. My haircut was on point, and its on point every week I go. Ironically, I’ll be going there in about a hour! haha

Conveniently located in Centreville, this barber shop is central to Manassas, Fair Lakes, Chantilly, Fair Lakes and the Fair Oaks mall area. This is one of very few«ethnic» barbershop in the area. They have a ton of barbers so the wait is usually not bad. 20 mins or less. Prices are very reasonable.

After moving to Fairfax County in Aug, I soon grew tired of taking my son to all the way to Woodbridge to our old barber shop to get the haircut I like for him. So, I asked a friend at work where was the best place that had that«Barber Shop»(like the movie) feel to it and very welcoming! He recommended Perfections! So, we got there in the middle of a Saturday. It was pretty busy. After waiting about 20 minutes, my son(7) started to get restless, but then it was his turn! Tony cut his hair to «Perfection» and was fast and precise! He looked sharp! This is our new barber shop! Sorry Pro-Stylin, love ya’ll but it’s just too far to travel! Thanks Perfections!

A no frills, get the job done kind of spot. $ 15 for a haircut and an extra $ 3 for them to shape up the beard. Louis is the barber I go to. He sits on the right side of the shop and he’s a master of fades. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a clean haircut in Centreville. FYI, if you’re a walk-in, make sure you talk to a barber when you get there. They usually set appointments and if you don’t say anything you can easily be forgotten. Go to Louis, you won’t be disappointed.
