Love the food and service here. They are quick and the tenders taste so fresh. I’m in love with the apples and toffee sauce.

Stopped by one night after work when I was craving chicken, and to my surprise it was wonderful the staff was very friendly and the facility was very clean. I Will definitely be going back when I want something quick and easy.

WAY overpriced. $ 5 for 3 puny tenders. They must be making a killing off of the profit margins.

Very impressed with PDQ! Their food is very fresh for a fast food style restaurant and the interior of the restaurant is nice as well. I have been to this location a few times and have tried the blueberry chicken salad, the chicken nuggets and a buffalo chicken sandwich. All items exceeded my expectations. What I love about PDQ is that although it is fast food style, they do have healthy options and a variety of salads to choose from. Their blueberry vinagarette dressing was VERY good! The Buffalo chicken sandwich was also great and they have a lot of dipping sauces to choose from. I also recommend trying their iced green tea if you enjoy tea. It was very refreshing.

This place is the BEST. The food is hot and the turnaround time is unbelievable. They’re already calling your name by the time you pay up and walk over to the drink machine to fill up your cup with whichever nectar of the gods you choose. I had personally never heard of this place until a coworker brought me here. I had no idea what to expect, except that we were going to be eating chicken that day, and I was pleasantly surprised. There are several things on the menu, with the majority being chicken sandwiches, but I have never ventured out and tried anything other than the Spicy Buffalo Chicken Sandwich because I loved it so much the first time. It’s the best $ 5 I will ever spend on a chicken sandwich. Take that, Chik-fil-a!

For fast food fried chicken, this place is the best up here! Fresh and delicious! The fries are very good too, as well as all the homemade dressings. I only drink water and lemonade, and the fresh squeezed lemonade here is wonderful! I like tart, and it’s nice and tart! I also appreciate the concept, the cleanliness, and the quality here. This is where I go for fast chicken in Cedar Park. Really happy to see they’ve expanded the menu too!

Wow. This place really amazed me. Disclaimer: I went to the Cedar Park location for a Unilocal event, but I decided to write my «true» review after a real non-planned event. So for the event, I got to try a little bit of everything, so usually my real person visits aren’t as good. Oh how I was wrong! I got the kids meals(one tenders, one nuggets), fries, soda, and a chocolate shake. Everything came out pretty quickly. The food was even better than I remember. These nuggets are bigger than any other place(think Chick Fil-A, Burger king, mcdonalds) They are like big diced nuggets. This is a place where you want to think — «I can see how they make this» — rather than I think this came out of a frozen bag of pre-breaded chicken. You can tell that all the sauces are made in house. The honey BBQ is better than anything you’ll even buy at a store. You can see, taste, feel the honey in this sauce. It’s more«sticky» and honey than BBQ. My wife and I thought we might need to get more food, but they gave us so many fries, we thought this was more than enough of a meal. I have always like the hand washing trough where you don’t have to open doors to get to the restroom. The soap is nice and gentle. I only had very minor issues — I could tell that several of the salt and pepper shakers were empty. Also, the ketchup dispenser was out. After they filled it, the pressure of the ketchup shot out in a big splutter that it got on my suit jacket and pants. .. a trip to the dry cleaners a little earlier than later for me =P ___ My wife commented — even though we live in Austin, she would drive up here for our kids. It tastes and feels like real chicken. .. way to surprise me!

Edit: this review has been updated to five stars because of their delicious fresh squeezed lemonade. And because we come here like once a week. I’m usually super snobby about fast food(like everyone else), but OMG I love this place. Pro’s: It’s actually pretty nice inside. I never feel like I’m eating at a fast food restaurant. They serve the old fashioned cherry soda Cheerwine, and if you get a combo, you can sub your soda for a Cheerwine for only ten cents more! Speaking of combos, you can get fresh apples(the good quality tart, green ones) instead of fries and they come with a toffee dip. The toffee dip is the best thing ever. The spicy buffalo tenders sandwich is amazing, and super filling! The grilled turkey really does taste like«hand held thanksgiving,» — maybe even a little bit better since their interpretation includes herb mayo(so good) instead of gravy(no thanks). The servers are really sweet and knowledgeable about the products(hey, you don’t always see that in a drive through). I’m going through something which requires me to be super picky about my food right now and while I hate being that person, I always have a million questions and substitution requests. Today I was served by Alvin N., and he was so nice about making accommodations for my current bleu cheese aversion. They don’t charge for extra sauces. And their sauces are fantastic — we always get honey mustard for our fries. The fries are really good. I still always feel like I should get the apples instead. Thankfully, my husband likes to share. Cons: I don’t love their blueberry coleslaw(another side option). I was so excited to try it, and I wanted it to be packed full of blueberries. In reality, the blueberries are scarce and the vinegar flavor is strong. I don’t know if it’s a fluke, but I’ve never received napkins with my drive through order. I am sure they would provide them if I asked, but I never think to do that.

I came here for the first time yesterday after seeing a bunch of my Unilocal elite friends write reviews for PDQ based off of a Unilocal Elite event that I didn’t attend. In their reviews they raved about the quality of the ingredients, the taste, and the service. Chick-Fil-A has been my go to option for a chicken sandwich. However I now have an alternative… that opens on Sunday! I had the opportunity yesterday to try PDQ after playing with my twin toddlers in the park, I decided to treat them to lunch here. Albeit using the drive thru. I ordered the Cali Club chicken sandwich meal. The sandwich consists of grilled chicken served on brioche bun with ranch, crispy bacon, avocado, lettuce and tomato. I substituted the chicken for the crispy turkey, because a lot of Unilocal Elite reviewers said it was really good. It comes with either fries or blueberry coleslaw. I opted for the coleslaw and a drink. I also got two kids meals one with nuggets and the other one with chicken tenders. Since the reviewers said everything was great I got a couple of cookies as well, the chocolate chip and the peanut butter chocolate chip. I preceded to drive home, which took about 10 minutes and indulge. Everything was delicious and fresh tasting and still at a good temperature. My twins loved their fries and their chicken tenders and nuggets and I can’t forget the honey barbecue sauce and the honey mustard. They also loved the 100% Juicy Fruit fruit punch I neglected to state came with their happy meals. My twins were fed and ready for a nap. Great experience so far! The Cali Club was delicious and highly recommend it. The fries plentiful and crispy definitely a good deal especially for a kids meal. The cookies were awesome! However, I went into my bag for my blueberry coleslaw which I read was very scrumptious and it was MIA. Turns out I never received it. I was disappointed, because I asked the server if everything was in my bag. I didn’t have time to thoroughly check, because I had my twins in their car seats and quite honestly I wasn’t going to park and pull them out and go in. I figured I’d come back the next day which was today and I expected everything to be smooth sailing after all the reviewers raved about the service. I came here today from work and showed the cashier my receipt and explained that I came there for the first time yesterday and never received my blueberry coleslaw. He in turn showed his manager Michael, who right away said«give him a meal». Wow, now not only do I get to experience the coleslaw, but I get to experience the way I intended it. I got the Cali Club with the grilled chicken this time and instead of the delicious lemonade which I neglected to write that I had I opted for the sweet tea. I personally thanked Michael, for going above and beyond and I look forward to being a customer and sharing how great my experience was and how great the food is.

Great chicken, good salads, good drinks. The service varies some, but the manager expedites the orders and has quickly resolved any issues we had with the cashiers. Solid lunch spot in a bit of a food desert.

I finally tried PDQ this last week! I swear, every time I’ve passed it on Lakeline, it was not time to eat. I really am glad we stopped in. Their chicken sandwiches are amazing. None of their chicken is frozen! You can seriously tell the difference. And I don’t know how they make their buns, but delicious! I got the Cali club, and the avocados are fresh sliced. My husband got the spicy buffalo chicken sandwich and it was melt in your mouth good. I like the fries too, and you can get a side of apples with their special tasty Toffee dipping sauce.

Between the food, the concept and the emphasis on quality, this place deserves five stars. PDQ translates to «People Dedicated to Quality» and I’m a believer. I normally wouldn’t have stopped in since they’re not closer into town but now I’m singing their praises. 1) No freezers or microwaves. Everything is fresh. Made to order. In your hands minutes just after you order. 2) Blueberry cole slaw. Get it. 3) «Fluffy» fries — Fresh cut, baked and then fried! All within 12 hours of the potato’s life. 4) Fried chicken tenders… What else do I need to say? The buffalo chicken tender sandwich was really tasty paired with the sweet bun. The shakes were very good — both thick and the flavor was spot on.(I can’t stand thin shakes.) They have fresh squeezed lemonade which will make you pucker.(I’m puckering now just remembering it) Fresh fresh fresh… It’s something that I just keep repeating which is by design I guess since everything is fresh. I’ll be back for sure! Bring the kids!

I’ve driven by this place called PDQ numerous times. I figured it was an acronym for Pretty Darn Quick… wrong. I was informed it stood for People Dedicated to Quality and I must admit they are. Ordered the four piece chicken strips and blueberry Cole slaw. I chose the Buffalo blue cheese sauce and Spicy Bbq. Both were fantastic. Now, having been to Raising Canes and Bush’s, I had a certain expectation but this was far beyond the mainstream Quality wise PDQ is PDG(pretty darn good) and by far the best chicken strips I’ve ever had. Size wise, they are slightly smaller than Canes but far better tasting. Light, juicy, and doesn’t have that oily taste like I’ve had at the others. If you like chicken strips, then this is definitely a place worth stopping. You won’t be disappointed… Go crazy with their sauces… they are great.

I finally ate at pdq. Since the opening of the restaurant I danced around going but today(9÷18÷15) I dropped in. The place isn’t bad and at 2p.m. the lunch crowds aren’t a bother. I ordered the 5 piece tender meal with fries and a drink. The tenders are decent but nothing to write home about. The breading seemed to just slide off the meat almost in a sleeve like manner. The freshness of the meat is a plus, I really didn’t detect much flavor. I used honey mustard and honey bbq. I don’t drink alcohol at all but I swear I smelled some in the honey bbq. I decided on the honey mustard though I thought they put mayonnaise in it. The hand cut fries were decent. They weren’t to salty or greasy. The place isn’t bad but a little pricey. They have clean bathrooms and an overall Establishment. I probably will return but I won’t have it as top choice.

Their creamy garlic dressing tastes exactly like Bartlett’s(Houston’s). Sorry to be so blunt with no intro but that is earth changing for me. Sometimes I drive all the way to Bartlett’s just to get a salad. Who drives 20 miles for a salad? People who have had Bartlett’s buttermilk garlic dressing, that’s who. Well now I can pop right on over to PDQ for a fresh chickie salad with some of my favorite dressing alive. Life upgrade! Clean bright restaurant with fresh ingredients. The tenders were good, nothing to write home about, but all of their homemade dressings and sauces(the toffee one that came w apple slices was unreal) really make this place unique and worth frequent visits. Like seriously, their homemade ranch… I could go on and on. Just go try it already!

Wait. We are talking about the same place right? Cause I’ve been here twice and sure, it’s ok for quoteunquote fast food and the drive thru folks have always been friendly(but really, asking your name at one window and then using it at the next is a bit overdoing it) but REALLY? 4 – 5 stars? Each time I’ve come by, I’ve had the rather bland grilled tenders. Once with the rather limp but well seasoned fries. And then, on my low carb kick, the blueberry slaw. All was just aiight. Hubby’s had the fried chicken salad that was served with again, rather bland fried chicken on a bed of mostly iceburg(blech). He also got a chocolate shake once that had great fresh made flavor but you’d litrally need to be a hoover to suck that stuff up a straw. I mean, *I* had no problem, but I thought hubby’s eyes were gonna cross and his toes were gonna come out his nose. I actually had a friend joining us for dinner in Cedar Park that suggested«Hey lets check out that new place, the one with all the great reviews and the cutesy name…» I embarrassingly had to point out to him that this was a fast food joint and there’s really so many other great places to eat in Cedar Park(whoa, never thought I’d be able to say THAT!). So, yeah, A-OK is fine for a quick too-lazy-to-cook, somewhat healthier fast food choice. I don’t know their gay right’s policies but I finally get to eat take out chicken again and that makes me happy. But, really, let’s not get Stepford about it.

I’ll be back. I wasn’t sure what to expect as this was my first visit, however, it won’t be my last. The crispy tenders were really good. The homemade buffalo blue sauce was really good. The blueberry cole slaw was really good. The green tea was really good. The menu has blueberry coleslaw listed. I’m a fan of coleslaw in general so I ordered it. I wasn’t, however, expecting the coleslaw to have actual blueberries in it. But it did! Really. Real blueberries. Who would of thunk? I’ll be back to People Dedicated to Quality(PDQ) pretty darn quick.

Okay, I’ve been here 3 times… in three days. Does that say anything? Exceptional customer service. Everyone is very friendly, you can tell that they’re selective in who they hire and thorough on their training for customer service. Honestly, I came first because I heard that they sell Cheerwine, a nostalgic drink from growing up in North Carolina. What keep bringing me back is the convenience, friendliness and delicious food. I’ve ordered the same thing every time, tenders meal with fries. The sauces are amazing(especially Buffalo Blu) and I must admit, these might be the best fries in Austin. Well done PDQ. I can’t afford to make you a daily habit, but I’ll be back often!

PDQ is in soft opening right now and will have their grand opening Sunday November 16th from 10:30am-2pm. I stopped in this evening and found the restaurant clean, the staff enthusiastic and lots of synergy in the kitchen. PDQ’s menu is mostly made up of chicken items. I don’t eat fast food often and the thought of a salad at a fast food makes me sad. However I was pretty pleased with their grilled chicken salad. I wouldn’t compare it to some of my favorites at a full service restaurant but it was good! The grilled chicken salad has cherry tomatoes, generous amount of slivered almonds, dried cranberries, with bite size tender chicken served with a delicious blueberry-ginger vinaigrette. I ordered Jesse a crispy chicken salad and if you are not a diet this is the way to go! The crisply chicken is juicy and full of flavor. Other menu items include tenders, sandwiches made to order, daily cut fries, hand spun shakes and they make their own sauces daily. The kitchen is pretty open so you can see the staff working quickly to get your food out. My salad was served within a few minutes. They have one of those cool touch screen soda machines with a gazillion flavors and a few types of iced teas. You can also catch a few minutes of the games as they have two flat screens. I am rating this place for what it is, fast food with some extra warmth with the goal of serving fresh food fast. They also have drive through service. A quick shout out to Unilocaler Genny for the heads up on the soft opening!
