This is always a goto place for us when we’re craving burgers. It’s great that the burgers are prepared fresh, as are the fries. Portion sizes can be somewhat deceptive, so if you can’t eat a massive burger in one sitting, order the junior burger. Same thing on the fries. A tiny fries can be split be 2 people easily. I always get the junior bacon cheeseburger and add an assortment of toppings. It’s great that you can customize your burger with toppings that include mushrooms and grilled onions – not always an option in fast food burger joints. Love that they have the fancy drink machines. You can customize your drink to whatever you want. The only concern you might have is the price. It can be a bit pricey, so sharing things like fries helps to manage the price. Plus, it keeps you from unnecessarily throwing away excess food.

Nothing special here, as it’s a chain restaurant. My cheeseburger was pretty good and the French fries are as good as advertised. As anyone will tell you, this joint is pricey but they try to make up for it with quality. They are successful for the most part. I would like to see them freshen up the bacon and make less sloppy sandwiches, but it’s not enough to keep me from going back.

I hereby swear to never go to another five guys! The burgers are pretty good the fries are limp #%^€ soggy crap! The prices are downright insulting and straight up robbery! 12.92 for a cheeseburger and fry and NO drink! Rip off! Piss off!

Went here on the suggestion of my girls, and too my surprise, it was pleasantly good, the service was great, food was fresh and filling, and the wait was not long. I had the little cheeseburger, and the three of us shared a large frie, will be going back for sure.

Nothing special, my burger was decent. The fries were seasoned nicely. My kids enjoyed the peanuts but I don’t see us coming back anytime soon.

Service is extremely slow here. The burger and fries I ordered were mediocre at best. For $ 9.29 I expected so much more. I’ll most likely not return.

This is the second time I have visit the place and the second visit made me even more disappointed. I will not be coming back. What the heck does this place have against lettuce? The FREAKING price I paid for the burgers it should came with a bed of lettuce on top of it. It barely had two tiny pieces on it. It does not even qualify as a good amount of lettuce. Whataburger does a better job to put a good amount of lettuce, tomato, and onions on their burger. Five Guys Burgers is a joke! The regular fries priced $ 3.79 and put in a cup is a joke! I walked out of there paying $ 28.00 for two to eat which the meal ended up being a pile of crap. To top it off they have a TIPJAR at the counter! So you want me to tip you how I told you how to make a stinking burger that you could not put a decent amount of lettuce, tomatoes, and onions on it. Flat and greasy is what it is. Even In-N– Out Burgers put a decent amount of lettuce, onions, and tomatoes on their small burger and has a decent price for it. Five Guy Burgers is a sad place for food. Pass this joint up. You are not missing anything.

What people see in this place is beyond me. The burger comes to you all smushed and greasy(and I’m ok with a greasy burger, but this is an absolute grease bomb). They give you a stinkload of fries, but they suck too(they need to change their grease more often). And I don’t know if I am catching everybody on a bad day, but while the other reviewers say the staff here is friendly, that hasn’t been my experience. Plus, the place is usually filthy. Do yourself a favor… go across 67 and get a Whataburger.

I think it’s okay for a burger joint in Cedar hill. I got the little bacon cheese burger with fries. I wish they cooked the jalapeños. If you want a good burger and in that area I would check it out :) there’s also lots of shopping around the area so it’s a good location.

Not so good. The burgers and fries are so greasy that it made the bag soggy! A little bit too pricy as well! The burgers are pretty small and you get a little bit of fries as well. Really ashamed of the place! The environment is really nice, really nice 50’s theme, but why have such a nice place if the food is not so good. They should really learn how to cook the burgers.

Had the«little» bacon cheeseburger, fries and a drink. And while the burger isn’t necessarily little, it was absolutely delicious. The bacon was crisp, the condiments fresh and tasty, and the meat very flavorful. The fries were far too mushy and too many, but still tasty. Both soda machines were out of ice, but it IS summer in Texas, so that’s not unheard of. Biggest problem was the price. Twelve bucks! That’s pretty steep for a «little» burger combo. So, make the fries more crispy and give me less, and drop that price a couple bucks, and then you’ll get five stars.

Ever since the management changed, the quality of the food and service has improved greatly. The food is tasty regardless if you get a hot dog or a burger.

Maybe this is a Texas thing, but I have to agree with everyone. While living in LA, everyone kept raving about how delicious Five Guys was, so it has been on my list for a few years to try. I finally got around to it today, and I have to say that I was a bit underwhelmed. While I appreciate the sheer size of the«Little» fries(it was really big to be little), and thought the size of the burger was fine, the cost just did not meet up with the quality of the beef. And that is where I think the Texas issue comes in. We are very lucky to have exposure to wonderful cuts of beef and it is not hard to get a damn good burger. I can tell you hole in the walls that will serve you a burger so good that you’ll contemplate slappin’ your Momma. The one thing I think Five Guys, or at least this location, has going for it is the great customer service. The young people working in this location are so sweet and are very personable. I like that. Also, I do like that you can choose as many toppings as you want. Too bad the mushrooms seemed to come from a can(yikes).

I believe that for the value this restaurant is over priced. I like that they had the peanuts available

First time trying them was a to go order. The burger is smaller than I imagined it would be. But… When I bit into it… Omg full of flavor! The fries perfectly seasoned with seasoned salt were the best!!!

Overpriced but good hamburgers, could be so much better. I really would give this place 2.5 stars, as they do deserve more than a 2 but I don’t think a 3 is the way to go… either way the hamburger tasted good, and the ingredients were fresh. The strange thing is the bun was cold, why not put that on the grill a moment… also the bacon on the burger was burnt. The prices are high for what you get, but at the same time the regular hamburger does come with 2 patties and is in actuality a big hamburger that tastes good. The french fries are also good but again, way overpriced. You can do so much better by going to other restaurants. As long as you are prepared to pay $ 13-$ 15 for a hamburger and fries, and you tell them to warm up your bun, I think you will like it here, otherwise, this is not a place that I will miss if I dont go back…

Five Guys is pretty straightforward, they do burgers, hot dogs, and fries; period. I guess the thing I like most are the fresh ingredients. While FG is a little more expensive than some other fast food places, I prefer the fresh product verses the freeze meat at some of the other places. This location has good service that is quick and friendly. There’s a good selection of toppings you can get with no extra charge. I enjoy the grilled onions and jalapeños. And their hot sauce is actually pretty good. I love the fries, meaty and tender and tons of them. I can usually order and get my meal within five minutes Seating is a little limited, but you order comes ready to go, so if there’s no room, you can keep walking right out the door. FG is a good hot and juicy burger & fries with friendly, fast service, period.

Do yourself a favor and save some money by NOT eating these overpriced mediocre burgers. The meat is nasty, very low quality and tasteless… I can get better burgers at wendy’s and at lower prices. If you want an awesome burger go to salt grass or if you want the best for the money go to wingfields in oak cliff. This is the first and last time I eat these rip off burgers.

The burgers here are pretty expensive, but they do include all toppings at no charge though. That includes toppings that most places charge for like grilled jalapenos, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, and grilled green peppers. The little bacon cheeseburger I ordered was $ 5.29. My burger came out wrapped in foil, which smushed the bun pretty good. It was OK, nothing special. The fresh cut fries were really good. The regular order is probably enough for 2 people. The restaurant was really loud on the Saturday I visited. The music was turned up too high and the sound of the other customers made it hard to have a conversation. The seating area has too many tables crammed in a small area. I don’t think I will be back to this place. You don’t get you moneys worth here. My little bacon burger, regular fries, and regular drink came to $ 11.34 including tax. The next time I’m looking for a fast food burger in Cedar Hill I’ll probably just go to Braums. The burger quality is the same and my meal is about $ 5 cheaper.
