The next time you go shopping at H-Mart, I recommend stopping here to eat. The jjajangmyun(noodles with black bean sauce) is great. much better compared to other places in the area. It’s not too greasy, which other restaurants tend to make it. This is a really casual, seat-yourself kinda place.

Oh yeah, don’t pass up this hidden gem. Go in and explore. Be adventurous. Try something you would normally shy away from. I had the Korean bbq ribs and they were amazing. Pay with cash and receive a free beverage. There is a shopping area downstairs that has a little bit of everything under the sun with an Asian label. Picked up several teas in preparation for my first of the year cleanse. I will definitely return for both the food and treats located downstairs.

This is a great place to grab a quick, inexpensive korean meal. For those unfamiliar with Asian food courts, Hanoori Town consists of a couple of food stands lining along two walls. The food stands display bright, colored photos of their menu, which is super helpful for people unfamiliar with korean foods. Food is ordered at the counter, and can be eaten at tables in the middle of the food court. The menu is very varied, and ranges from noodle soups to korean pancakes to rice dishes. Each entrée is around $ 10 – 15, and is enough to feed at least one hungry person with plenty of leftovers. Many of the dry dishes are served with a side of soup. I am not a korean food expert, but the foods seem authentic enough to attract busy crowds of korean customers. The lunch buffet is available on weekdays — for $ 11 – 13, you buy yourself the right to eat as much as you want from the food bar. Although the selections of food is modest compared to a full fledged buffet restaurant, the food is as delicious as a typical asian buffet. Selections include sushi, bulgogi, soup, Although the food doesn’t match the quality of the individual entrees ordered from the Hanoori food stands(taste-wise and freshness-wise), the buffet is a great option for people who want variety and would like to taste test many dishes all at once. Highly recommended for those looking to try korean dishes, especially if you are getting hungry after a morning of shopping at the Hmart next door.

I think this is a pretty good Korean food court. Food are tasty and quick serve. I feel even more tasty than many Korean restaurant in this area. The seafood Noodle soup is my favor one. They sometime have specials for big hot pot serving 2 or 3 people per order~~ I had once… so good!!! Good price, relatively great food! Worth the try!

This eatery satisfies my Korean noodle cravings. There are around 3 different restaurants that share a common seating area. My favorite is the Hang ari Noodle Company. Their spicy seafood noodle can’t be beat. I cannot believe that they fit an entire crab, handful of clams and shrimp in a bowl with hand made noodles for only $ 8.95. My mouth is watering. On weekends this place is pretty packed and it can be hard for a large group to find a place to sit.

This place has changed since the first couple times I came. Some of the places I liked before have changed owners, some aren’t even Korean or Korean-Chinese run anymore, and I have to say the food isn’t as good. But this isn’t true for every stall. Just an observation on some of the stalls I used to order from. However, I find all the choices worth coming for. Prices are alright, portions are good. Also, I noticed there are a lot more non-Koreans eating here now, even if it doesn’t look like it at first glance. So don’t feel intimated if you have no idea what anything is, likely you’re not the only one. And hey, even if the person at the register can’t understand you, you can always resort to pointing at the picture to order. //ORDERING\\ This isn’t just one restaurant. Like others mentioned, it’s a cafeteria. You choose whom you order from, pay, then pick up your order when they call it out. You get your own water at the water station(usually nearest to the place you ordered). Most signs are in Korean and English with photos. If you feel adventurous, go ahead and order whatever number looks good. If not, then order whatever resembles chicken and isn’t too red if you can’t take spicy. There are a lot of choices, and they don’t all offer the same thing(some only stews, some only noodles, etc). So walk around before you decide. If you eat in, most orders will come with some side dishes and soup. If you take it to-go, you’ll probably still get a side of kimchi and takuan. There is no wait staff. So when you’re done, just take it to the nearest pan trolley and slide your tray in. //NON-FOOD\\ Outside of food, Hanoori Town has a little shopping mart that takes up all of downstairs. Housewares and other useful Korean and Japanese household stuff. Tons of stuff. I rate it 5⁄5. Back on the main floor upstairs there’s also a bubble tea/ice cream place as well as some kind of water dispenser/electronics seller.

When we decided to go to the Catonsville Hmart around lunch time, we thought we might as well get lunch at Hmart. As we were pulling up to park, we saw this Hanoori Town sign. Since we’re not that hungry yet, we decided to check it out. As we walked towards the store, my curiosity is getting more piqued because there were a lot of people going into this place. When we reached it, I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of Korean food stalls. The place is pretty much a cafeteria of Korean or Korean-Chinese food stalls. Two of the food stalls hand make their own noodles. There is also a Korean dessert shop. The floor below sells Korean-made household items. It can range from pots and pans to massage chairs. We ordered from one of the food stalls. We got the kimchi noodle and spicy chicken. It was delicious! You can really taste the freshness of the noodles. Chicken was also great!

Food is good, but men RESTROOM is disgusting. There’s no lock on the door, no toilet paper, no napkins and no soap. Makes me wonder how employees wash after they use restrooms!!!

I haven’t been here in a few months, and they have UPDATED! 1. There’s a kimpap station at the last eatery(the one that is head-on towards the back as you walk in) that serves a variety of freshly made kimpap including: chicken, turkey, yobu(chobap, that is), rice balls, veggie, kimchi, cheese, and beef. They are just missing the regular yobu kimbap, but that’s ok. They also started making hand-made noodles and dough for mandoo and noodle dishes! I saw a ton of people order jajangmyun in these new combinations(half tangsooyuk, half jajangmyun, etc). Great portions for about $ 8 – 9. I got the Gom Tang, a clear bone broth – they put salt & pepper on the side, rice, and some turnip kimchi. It was good for $ 10.15 including tax. A young girl and a guy, who speak English AND Korean, work there now – so that’s helpful if you have no idea what to order because you don’t know what anything is. They are polite. 2. There’s a new NOODLE place to the left, in the middle of the eatery, where there used to be a jajangmyum & kimbap. My friend got sujaebee and mandoo, it was tasty and came in a cool looking brown-stone pot. 3. The last eatery closest to the window(if someone knows the names of these places, please correct me, haha) also renovated their signage and looks a lot more updated. The foods actually look decently priced, although less exotic, compared to previously. I will probably want to come back to try out different dishes. It feels a lot cleaner and just more fresh. Come check it out if you haven’t for a while!

Ok. Here’s how it works. You walk in, go straight back and pay the counter person. This is completely self service. They have 16 types of sushi on the buffet and 14 things on the hot buffet. Plus another 8 cold items. Food is good. Price is 12 bucks. Best thing around. Not a big seating area, but sit about 40 – 50 people. You know it’s legit when you’re the only person around speaking English. The buffet is open from 11:30 to 3:00, that’s the only problem, it’s a lunch deal. The rest of the day… everything else on the menu is amazing. Don’t be intimidated, the staff is friendly and used to it. Seriously, the staff expects you to be a little confused the first time. *if you pay with cash and get the lunch buffet, a soda from the fridge is free, lunch buffet — with cash.* !bonus! If you make eye contact whike you tip the sushi chef, you can request whatever you want and he’ll have it out in 90 seconds.

Oh my goodness, walking in here you’re just bombarded with so many choices of food. It’s right next to Hmart so you can come eat and then go over and get all your grocery needs after. The food court has plenty of seating and food comes out quite fast. The portions are HUGE for what you pay for. I don’t know how anyone can finish the entire meal — it’s 2 — 3 meals for me. My friend got the Clam Soup for ~$ 10. We were expecting 5 clams at most, but no by the time she finished she had an entire bowl full of clam shells. The noodles seemed to be hand made as well and were chewy and delicious. Seriously all the dishes are worth your money. I got the #10 Dokboki Mandu(~$ 10) — it came with dokboki, fish cakes, an egg and fried dumplings all drenched in spicy sauce.

This is my first time here and I am very glad I found it. It is somewhat like a mall. It has great food and many products to sell. I think I will go back for cooking tools, pans and pots. I went there for the newly opened noodle place. It was pretty good. I have had freshly made noodles before. The noodles have good texture and flavor. I ordered clam noodle. It also comes with some barley, some chilli paste, kimchi and some sour greens. I was not sure how to eat the barley. Last suggestion for the clam is to release the sand. There are still quite some left.

(10/13/2014) Nice food court with 3 stalls to get some comforting Korean food before shopping next door at H-Mart. Tried Two Youngs, they have a cheap AUCE sushi buffet at lunch time. Since it was a cold, drizzly day, bypassed it for an incendiary, spicy seafood soondubu(soft toful soup). Came in a heated stone bowl with a generous bowl of sticky rice, cabbage and radish kimchee. Soup was not too salty, lots of soft, silken, custard like tofu, and a smattering of seafood(looked like the frozen bag of mix you might get at the H-mart next door, dime-sized pieces of squid, mussels, shrimp, scallops) and 1 head on shrimp peeking out at you. Fried Mandoo had a somewhat chewy and tough wrapper, but very crispy; meat filling odd mash of maybe pork and chives, adequate, not stellar. I’m not a stranger to Korean food, but had a little trouble navigating the menus at the different stalls, a lot of things you don’t usually see elsewhere, and much of it in Korean only(could even decipher with the pictures). Maybe I’ll branch out next time, def looking forward to trying the new handmade noodles and maybe the blood sausage. In the middle of a weekday, lunchtime crowd looked like a mix of nearby office drones and little old Asian couples, a few families with small children. Good place to stop in before your shopping and you might even pick up something new.

Every time I’m in the area I come here for lunch. It’s inside of a fantastic grocery store where I’m basically the only one speaking English. So you know this place is fantastic. It’s the real Korean deal no doubt. Any better and you must be in Korea. I’ve never had a bad meal here. EDIT: this should be for H Mart Grocery Store café my bad

Five stars for what is possibly the best deal and tastiest cold noodles here. I’m talking about the naeng myun(cold buckwheat noodles) at food court stall that is on the immediate left when you walk into this food court. The receipts say Two Youngs, but it’s the one that says Traditional Korean Food, left of the Korean Chinese Food Stall. Not open on Tuesdays. These noodles are served super cold, which is most ideal for the hot, humid summer days we get in the area. In this bowl, there are strips of white turnip, cucumber, and Korean pear, which become super crisp in the ice cold water broth. Don’t forget to add in hot pepper(or mustard, which is probably more appropriate) and vinegar to your liking(located at the table to the right of the cash register). Also, don’t forget to grab a pair of scissors. Use the scissors and make about 4 or 5 cuts radiating from the center of the bowl. These noodles are super chewy, so the scissors help cut the noodles into more manageable, mouthful-sized portions. If you don’t use the scissors, you run the risk of either choking or getting TMJ from the constant chewing action. The noodles here are quite refreshing for those hot summer days. They have two options here on how to get the naeng myun. You can get a bowl of it by itself or with galbi. It’s quite overly filling if you get it with the galbi, but the galbi here is quite tasty. Especially when you dine with someone like SX, it’s great food to share with others. Like the rest of the stalls in this food court, grab a cup for the water(located to the left of this stall, by the windows). Also, when you’re finished, don’t forget to clean up after yourself and leave your tray at the shelving to the left of the stall, by the windows.
