Presidio Park Apartments

I enjoyed living here. I’m only leaving because I’m relocating for a job. The grounds are always immaculate, the pool was always clean, the laundry room was always clean and it is such a quiet complex! Parking was never an issue either. Yes, you do get notes posted on your door but I found them to be quite helpful rather than invasive. The notes informed me on new policies, procedures, or when repairs would be taking place. Steve and Charlise were always very pleasant to work with and I would highly recommend anyone to move in here.

We call it the «Presidio Park Prison» because Steve & Charlise Roger behave like wardens instead of property managers. We have countless stories of illegal evictions, illegal forced entries, and the illegal seizure of personal property. We are denied the right to communicate freely with each other, we’re spied on, and our visitors are all potential intruders who must be stopped & interrogated. We’re forbidden from ever giving up our assigned parking space to anyone, for any length of time, for any reason. We’re told which direction our cars must be parked in, what’s permitted on our balconies, and how long our guests may stay. We’re harassed by hostile postings on our doors, 3-​Day notices & Warning letters that turn out to be illegal but remind us of who’s in charge, leave us feeling traumatized, and keep us in our place. We have a collective case of PTSD that keeps most people too scared to leave their apartment which is convenient because there’s not a single shaded space outside in the common area, no community barbecue grills, and no coverings on the scalding hot railings of the swimming pool. By design, they keep us isolated & afraid. The architecture is flimsy, and noise & desert heat travel easily through the ridiculously outdated aluminum windows. Yet, it’s so quiet here you won’t hear a pin drop! The managers are bonafide predators who have successfully established their sadistic dominance over us. In case you’re wondering, yes, the owners of the property know about the situation here but they’re refusing to get rid of the Rogers. They’re real estate developers in Westlake Village who are evidently too busy making money to care about the lives of mainly working-​class people of color in Cathedral City.
Please support our efforts to break free from a kind of oppression none of us here intended to sign up for. Be smart, protect yourself from the haters who own and manage this property.
STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE!

By far the WORST people EVER. Starting with the management team. A creature called Steve is extremely rude unprofessional and definitely needs a huge lesson in respect. Terrible attitude with new customers I don’t even know how they treat existing business. They lied to us and didn’t even want to show us apartment before filling application and paying deposit. Waste of time

This is a lovely apartment complex. Looks like a Spanish villa. Management is terrific and very helpful, taking care of any problems that come up immediately. It’s very quiet, I don’t hear my neighbor upstairs, there’s a beautiful pool and jacuzzi. Rents are very reasonable I think for a 2 bedroom apt, even fireplaces in the units, tile floors in the living room-​kitchen (thank you) and most of the apts. have been redecorated with uptodate kitchens.

I have to agree with the other reviewer, the management is very very rude, and nosey!!!
The apartments are cute, and grounds and pool area are nice, but watch out for the managers, they will be on your case about every little thing!
These people take themselves way too seriously, and they need to learn some manners.
