Pronounced«sherries»? This place is a step up from Denny’s or IHOP, but still alright. Props however for having a much more diverse menu and being open 24⁄7. They have outdoor seating as well that seems to be dog friendly Ordered the stuffed hashbrowns, however didn’t see it as an option a la carte, and wasn’t hungry enough for steak/brisket/etc. Service was friendly and perky, but the room was very quiet, no music. Food took awhile to come out considering there weren’t that many people there. Portion size is same as Denny’s but tastes slightly more authentic and less factory-like than other chains. The one thing that bothered me was that the meat entrée on my boyfriend’s plate was TINY! Literally a little sliver that looked like a leftover strip from someone else’s dinner plate. I was super surprised, you really can’t trust the pictures on the menu lol. Overall, would probably not return.

Shari’s is a wonderful place 24 hours a day where you can come enjoy great tasting food with friendly customer service and inexpensive food yet still quality guaranteed. I would recommend this place for family fun and at night either a place to hang out with friends of a nice night out with your special someone, oh and enjoy the pie!

Just finished breakfast here. I had breakfast, pancakes, eggs and corned beef hash. No joke, the most disgusting scrambled eggs ever. Imagine fake eggs at their finest. The corned beef hash was dry and gross. They get 1 star for decent service and their pancakes were ok. If you can’t even have good eggs, who knows what everything else taste like. No thanks!

First time there. So glad we went. Early weekday afternoon, no wait. Service was great, and the food was excellent, and the portions were not skimpy. Bought a cherry pie to bring home. Best pie and piecrust I think I’ve ever had. Will definitely be going back soon, lots of dishes I want to try.

Nothing like sharis after a night out of drinking especially since they serve breakfast 24hours. I always go with the chicken and waffles and the stuffed hashbrowns. Always on hit the coffee is hot but not that strong. I always recommend sharis to friends and family in the area

This place was very disappointing. The entire visit lasted 1 hour. We arrived, were seated, ordered and waited for our food. This process took 40 minutes. We ordered the sirloin steak and the country fried steak meals. Our order totaled to about $ 40. A tiny serving of mac n cheese cost $ 4 and was mediocre, at best. The steaks were quite small and didn’t taste the best either. The peach pie wasn’t good and the lemon meringue was decent. Overall the experience was a 1 star, the only reason I’m giving it a 2 was the fact that we showed up on free pie Wednesday. I don’t plan on returning, probably ever.

Just came here for a Sunday breakfast, can’t review the food. After waiting and waiting and waiting and no help in sight we left to go somewhere else. There was another couple waiting to pay their bill also, if I was them I would have left without paying.

CV, being a somewhat nice, old, country town; I expected better. Tellin’ you straight: 1.) Me and some colleagues came in to study while having a late dinner. Sat down and ordered some food that took far too long to come. Fortunately, we were studying so time flew by like nothing. 35 – 40 minutes… 2.) I ordered the shrimp kabobs or something like that. It cost $ 13… they brought me 9… medium shrimp, 3 on each skewer… when I looked at that plate, I just stared for a few minutes in disbelief, then just ate it. It was tasty, but nothing out of this world for $ 13 goddamn dollars. Fuck me. 3.) I’m not sure who the lady was who saw us walk into the front door, then walked off to the back… after giving us some kinda ‘look’. Lord have mercy. Oops! Sorry we bothered you so much, that you couldn’t greet customers walking in! But go on and do your thing. The reason why it takes you so long, is because your menu is too big or your chef is clueless. Take a hint from Gordon Ramsay. I’m afraid to come in and try your highly rated pies, because of the way that lady looked at me, but WHATEVER. Wish you well.

My boyfriend and I came here for super late dinner after he picked me up from the airport. There wasn’t anything other than fast food open at the hour so we decided on coming here since it’s 24⁄7. First things off, I will probably not come here for a meal again unless I’m super hungry with my friends and it’s after midnight and I’m stuck with nothing else. We got here and there weren’t much customers. It took us like ten minutes to get seated and 5 minutes to even be acknowledged even though the servers were right next to us. When we were seated it took like 15 minutes for someone just to get to us to take our order. The customer service was just terrible. They were really nice but just not good at serving us. I ordered a standard club sandwich and asked for the soup. They told me they didn’t have any soup so that was a bummer. When I got my food it looked terrible. The presentation was terrible and it really honestly looked like they made the sandwich out of whatever scraps they could find. It didn’t taste bad but I could’ve made a better sandwich than that at my house. I will say that I do really like this place’s pies and pie shakes so I had to give it at least two stars. But I will never order food here. Overall, not much of a place to eat. Instead take your pies to go.

It’s all about the stuffed hashbrowns, the late night munchies, the pretty good pie. and a diner that I would prefer over Denny’s anytime. The late night crowds are well. the people that tend to come here later in the evening… usually noisy, rowdy. very much drunk and it can be a little annoying. Not quite the restaurant’s fault for that. Most diners that stay open that late will find themselves with that crowd anyway. The service was good. The server my group had did very well to hide how stressed out he was. Kept calm, took our order. and not one mistake even though he wrote nothing down and memorized the whole thing for our table. Food… yum. just what i needed… and what i wanted. Nothing exceptional that stood out. but good, decent diner food.

Slow. Put my name down for 2. Estimated 25 minute wait. There was no more seats up front to sit at so I sat at an empty table… To wait for another empty table. Plenty of empty seats out back but still had to wait. Went to Posh Bagel next door.

This place smells like a pet store. They seriously need to shampoo the carpet and clean the furniture. Also, the service was terrible. One of our waitresses looked like she rolled out of bed, put on dirty clothes and left the house without brushing her hair.

First of all, I’m a fan of Shari’s, so for me to give this 3 stars is difficult. We had the slowest service ever. Slow to get to our drink requests. Slow to get to us so we could order. Food was very slow getting out to us. We had to wait forever for the bill. The food, itself, was really good. I have a Shari’s reward card and the server didn’t know how to use it. I wanted her to check and see if I had any rewards on there(you know, freebies), but she said that she couldn’t check until I ordered something and she opened a ticket. I explained how it worked, so she did figure it out. But, yeah… not going to say this was the best experience.

This place is a gem when it comes to getting a late night, post bar hopping, dinner. The one thing that stands out and I must rave about is their pies ! I love their pies and this place is known for throwing a slice in a blender with some ice cream to make the ultimate shake. Unfortunately, beside the pies their isn’t much else to get excited about. Service is on par with the likes of a Denny’s or an ihop. Food is not really memorable. I’ve been here many times and here’s what I remember … Quiche seems like it was overly microwaved if that makes sense, steak is dry even if you order medium to rare. Pot roast was decent. Loaded hash browns was also decent. French toast and pancakes are crap compared to the two establishments mentioned earlier and finally like I said before, the PIESAREAWESOME !

I was here tonight from 9am-3am, working on my drawing. I kinda understand why there’re people complaining about the service here. For the first hour I sitting here, I think so too. But after the first hour, the waiters here changed, and those waiters & waitress who work during midnight are extremely nice people! I have to mention that there is a waiter called Don kept asking me that if I want more water, tea, or coffee. And he even handed me a soup for free, because I was working so hard and it’s winter! I was so surprise for the treat. The service here alone is 5 stars, for I sitting here so long but they still keep the good service. Even if I didn’t get the soup, it still worth 5 stars. :) For the food though, I think it’s OKAY. You know, it’s good enough to have a restaurant open 24 hours, so don’t be too picky. I think it’s acceptable. I ordered sandwich and coffee.

Shari’s is a good place to go for late night cravings when there aren’t any other restaurants open, but let’s be honest the food here is not great. I’ve had pies, hash browns, steaks, pot roast, shakes, and well a lot of things here, but never anything amazing. Three stars for the quick service and kind servers, but food is just not food.

2 stars for food and service. 1 star for being open 24 hrs a day. The food is OK. It isn’t terrible but it’s absolutely nothing to rave about. Both times I’ve been here, it was after 10PM and the service is REALLY slow and inattentive. The other night, after a HS winter formal, we were sitting at our table in the back for almost 30 minutes before someone came to help us. Multiple servers made eye contact with us and turned around. We were close to getting up and going elsewhere but nothing else is really open in the area. My banana cream pie was pretty gross. It was a cold piece of pie served on a warm plate. It fell apart quickly and the bottom crust was super thin. I’ll have to pass next time around :\ TLDR: Good for late night…

Seriously just bad. every year, the Neighborhood Church hosts and puts together a Christmas Show throughout the month of December. On 12⁄20 my family and i went after the show for dessert and pie. we got to Shari’s and since its a 24 hr place, there were a few tables. we walked in and put our name down for a party of 11. Then shortly after we were told we would be sat down in a bit. Then a flood of people that just watched the show came in as well. that is when people started getting impatient and asking why it was taking so long. a manager then begins explaining that he’s short servers and then to top it all off, they’re out of clean dishes because they didn’t have a dishwasher. sorry, what? you’re down the hill from a very popular neighborhood church that hosts a BIG show annually and you mean to tell me that you couldn’t plan out staffing accordingly for it? ridiculous. What’s the point of being open 24hrs if there’s no effort into investing in decent service throughout the WHOLE time. not coming back here again.

Pretty disappointed. I ordered a half grilled cheese and Caesar salad– the salad had way too much dressing which made it taste so sour and disgusting! My grilled cheese was even sadder; the presentation was bad and the bread was so hard. The sandwich itself was bland. Overall, there could have been much more effort put into the taste and presentation.
