Loved this B&B. The lodge is warm and relaxing, the breakfasts were fantastic! I was so relaxed while there, I hated to leave after 3 nights. The location is perfect, in the mountains and yet it is easy to get anywhere in the area. Debbie and Brian made me feel at home! I look forward to returning.

Gave five stars because it was the most you can give. My wife and I celebrated our first anniversary here. Debbie cooked two of the most amazing 3 course breakfasts for us. Brian and Debbie make this place truly feel like a home away from home. The location is amazing, nestled right in the mountains. The Ute Indian Trail room was cozy and quaint, stocked with fluffy towels, monogrammed bathrobes, and slippers. Comfortable queen sized bed and lots of pillows. They made us feel like family and we are looking forward to celebrating many more anniversaries with them.

My wife and I stayed at the bed and breakfast. I wish i could give 10 stars. What an amazing place. The owners were very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was stellar. If you’re thinking of a place to go, book here. You won’t be disappointed.

This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed at! It’s is a warm, cozy lodge right in the heart of Colorado. It is located directly across the street from the Pikes Peak Toll road and just a short drive away from the big city. You feel like you are nestled in the mountains though! The owner’s are fantastically friendly and Debbie is the best chef I’ve seen. Her three course breakfast will knock your socks off! We didn’t even need to eat until dinner! The hot tub outside is the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine. Lovely place, lovely owners, and lovely scenery. I wish I could stay there all the time!

This place is honestly amazing. This was pretty much a B&B first for my boyfriend and I, and this definitely exceeded our expectations. The innkeepers Debbie and Brian are the nicest couple I’ve ever met. Debbie’s 3 course breakfast is FANTASTIC. The lodge is exactly what I was looking for when staying in Colorado. I wanted something rustic, cozy, and secluded — and this did all of that for me. They have an amazing outdoor hot tub for guests to use and give you big robes so it’s easy to go out there when it’s freezing! The place is decorated like a cozy cabin in the woods. While here you have access to a guest fridge. Debbie also puts out coffee, tea, cider, biscotti, and delicious homemade cookies. As for location to Pikes Peak, you basically can’t get any better. It’s about a 5 minute drive to the entrance. The Manitou Cliff Dwellings and Garden of the Gods are a quick drive away too. Close by is a great restaurant — Wines of Colorado. You’re close to enough to things to make this trip eventful if you want to, but far away enough that you could easily make this a great escape. Debbie and Brian are also very helpful in making suggestions of places to visit and helping plan excursions. We stayed in the Ute Indian Trail room. The room is a little tiny, but manageable. It has a queen size bed, a closet, and it’s own bathroom. The mattress, sheets, and pillows that they have are so unbelievably comfortable. This place honestly felt like a home away from home. And it is so romantic! LOVED it here, hope to be back soon!

The Rocky Mountain Lodge was an absolute pleasure to stay at. My boyfriend and I were recently visiting family in Denver, and while in Colorado we decided to wander down towards Pikes Peak for some extra adventure. The Rocky Mountain Lodge was one of the first lodging options that popped up in my internet search, and, being on a tight budget, we mainly picked it because of the excellent price! Little did we know what a treat we were in for. The evening we arrived in Cascade, a long, winding, dark road led us up to this inviting lodge, bedazzled with magical Christmas lights and warmly-lit lanterns. In the office next door we found the innkeepers, Debbie and Brian, who happily greeted us and showed us around. The Lodge itself is amazing — a wonderful and cozy building in excellent condition, with lovely rustic décor everywhere you turn. Already impressed with the place, we were pleasantly surprised to find there was a hot tub running outside(which we took advantage of, despite the cold November temperatures!) Our room was wonderful as well — every last detail was attended to. Such a great place for a relaxing mountain getaway. I thought I was done with this review, but I nearly forgot about our complimentary breakfast. TO. DIE. FOR. Being the only two guests dining that morning, Debbie personally served the two of us an incredible three-course breakfast, with such accoutrements as homemade Devonshire cream, lemon curd, and peach preserves, made with locally-grown fruit. Delicious! It’s awfully hard to have a bad day after dining on great food in such a serene setting, with such pleasant hosts. Thank you Brian and Debbie! Looking very forward to staying at the Rocky Mountain Lodge again.
