Nice, lively atmosphere. I sat at the bar and had the bang bang shrimp, based on other reviews here on Unilocal. It was a Monday night so martinis were only five dollars which was fun. An easy 5 – 7 minute walk from the nearby Embassy suites where I was staying. Would definitely return.

Serval visits to this particular Bonefish Grill over past six months. Went here yesterday for Father’s Day, however it was just my mother and Myself. I believe our server was once again Dina(sorry, we sat just behind Hostess stand) very sweet young lady with a very pleasant personality and smile. Hostesses accommodating and also very, very pleasant. New favorite Spot for me!

Second time this happened. I really use to love this restaurant, so I gave them a second shot. However, when you don’t eat out very often, having a bad experience is very annoying. The staff is very nice but something is wrong with the process. The person who takes the order does not bring the food. Both times we went we had issues. The first time our appetizer came after our dinner. The last time they never brought out bread. We had to ask person who brought our salads. Bread came after our dinner which came seconds after our salad. By the time our waitress came around to ask us if we needed anything we were almost done. She actually asked if my husband wanted steak sauce when he had one bite left. I also asked the salad deliverer for more dressing since she never came around, he gladly brought me some of the wrong kind. Their system does not work.

I love bonefish. One of my favorite restaurants. Comfortable and they have great food. But nothing perfect. Some times u might get little disappointed like today. I order Scallops & shrimp all the time and love it. But today maybe they were too busy, I waited long time and it wasn’t great this time. Scallops burned and so small. I didn’t want to complain but really hard to eat those burned scallops. But anyway they took scallops away and cooked again. Don’t get me wrong. I still love bonefish. I will go again. If u first time, try Bang bang shrimp and coconut shrimp, they are so yummy. Services pretty good too.

One of my favorite places to get seafood. It’s a chain, but they have pretty good food at decent prices. Try the mojitos. YUM!

As a business traveler, I had visited many BoneFish locations. The bar service is absolutely horrible at this location. This is my 3rd visit with business partners to the bar prior to dinner. The server who works on Mondays(she never introduced herself or puts her name on the check) is rude in addition to providing sub par service. It is empty in here right now and I waited 10 minutes for service as she stocked the overflow bottles of liquor. Avoid this location if you want a professional customer centric experience!

Seafood(+ more) restaurant. We went here to get some lobster. We ordered the petite filet and lobster tail. Asparagus and Jasmine rice as the sides. The restaurant is nicer than average inside. The menu selection is decent. The parking SUCKS — but we somehow lucked out with a spot in front. Service was pretty good with a hint of redneck.

Bonefish is a solid chain. I am just going to start out by saying that I don’t like places where you cannot make reservations and the wait is 45 minutes. I also don’t enjoy eating in loud establishments. When I overlook these two things, our meal at the high-top by the door was an ok experience. Gusts of wind coming in and anxious diners hovering near the table did not make for a fantastic experience. Our server was very gracious and kind and took great care of us. I enjoyed the ceviche very much and the seafood and guacamole were fresh. I also made note of how the kind bartender came to the table to pour a beer in front of us in the proper glassware and not in a chilled glass. I ordered the Spicy Tuna bowl with rice, siracha, avocado and mango salsa. This is a very tasty and healthy bowl and I can see why it is a Bonefish favorite. Daniel had the Bang Bang tacos but something was not right on Saturday night. On Sunday morning he was violently ill with food poisoning and there was something in his tacos or in his side salad. That is the only thing we can link it back to so I am not sure I will be coming back if the food quality is poor and felt bad that he got so sick. Normally my experience at Bonefish have been better and I hope we can overlook the food poisoning and noise next time and try another dining time or location.

Powderd potatoes now? Tiny small piece of fish. Waitress goes AWAL and restaurant almost empty. Food tasted very good, excellent music, clean and comfortable

I’ve always liked Bonefish grill. I’ve been to this location maybe half a dozen times and the service has always been top notch. The only complaint would be that it tends to be pretty crowded. Not just with the number of people in the restaurant, which around dinner is always a lot, but it’s actual layout. The dining area is crammed with tables, chairs, servers and people anxiously awaiting their food and drinks. Once you get settled in though their food is always well prepared and if you go here without ordering the bang bang shrimp you will most certainly have to go back since that is for sure the best item on the menu.

One of my favorite chain restaurants. My husband religiously gets the bang bang shrimp. I am allergic to shellfish which you would think would rule this place out but hey are usually good about cross contamination as they just make me a little grill packet of I order fish. The last time we went was for lunch and I got the lily salmon and the au gratin potatoes which are my absolute favorite side after the truffle Mac and cheese but they don’t have it during lunch time.

I’m not a big seafood eater but I went out to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The location is very good especially when it comes to parking. I will say the restaurant seemed smaller than the North Hills location. I expected it to be more packed because it was on a night where they are running a special but it was comfortable. I ordered a burger with fries since the fish selections weren’t appealing to me. The burger was cooked medium well with little pink which is okay. My niece order well done and her burger was a little too done. Overall our waiter did an excellent job with keeping a table of 11 happy, drinks filled, and orders to our satisfaction. I will definitely drive the extra 15 minutes to patronize this location again.

While many turn their noses up to chain restaurants, this is a pretty good one. You always know what you will get, it isn’t very expensive, and some of their dishes are yummy. Suggested a girls lunch with a friend here last Friday. Had the pick two and got the house salad(love the citrus dressing) and the blackened mahi tacos. I really love these tacos! Friend had the salad and coconut shrimp and was pleased with her lunch as well. Service was good. At the end we felt a bit rushed to leave the table, despite many open tables. Would have been nice to be offered a refill of ice tea. We will be back.

A recent evening was probably our fifth or sixth visit to the Bonefish Grill in Cary. Every now and then, we go back in hopes that the experience will be better than the last. This restaurant has always had so much potential, yet continues to fall flat on it’s face. I believe that our less-than-pleasant experiences have much to do with the timing of our visits; which should not be the case for a properly managed business. Like many other aging couples, my Wife and I are no longer night owls and usually go out to dine anywhere from 6:00 — 6:30pm. Unfortunately, one of the immediate drawbacks to early dining is the«Children». Our most recent visit was no doubt one of the worst when it came to the«Children». A family, with three children was seated at the back wall, where the seating is one, long bench, built upon a wood-boxed platform; which when beat against with children’s feet, produces an agonizingly loud distraction. This went on during the entire course of our dinner, even after multiple requests to staff, to at least politely request that it Stop! Add this distraction to the fact that always, and I do mean always, at least one of our entrees is cold upon delivery, and has to be returned. I love the Sea Bass, but it’s just not good served cold. And there is always at least one side that shows up instead of the side that was ordered. For some reason, all these issues seem to take place at the same time that Managers are standing in one of the corners, chatting it up and having a good laugh, for long stretches. I can only assume that it is well past the Six O’clock dining hour, that Bonefish Grill Staff get up to speed and take their job seriously. My Wife and I have finally decided that we should have taken our dining budget elsewhere, a long time ago.

Great bonefish in the heart of Cary. The food tastes similar to all other bonefish restaurants. Service was attentive and friendly. I really enjoyed the experience here and will try to stop by again when I am working in the area.

I typically try to support local restaurants but this bonefish location has got it together. Went on a Friday evening and they were booked(surprise surprise) It was a spontaneous date for me and my significant other so we didn’t make a reservation. Tip: make one!!! Anyhow, we ate at a table in the bar area because we’re not patient enough to endure waits. Even the bar area was pretty packed. I was a tad bit worried that our server would have a hard time handling the crowd but I was pleasantly surprised. Our server was very friendly and checked up on us on the regular to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted. The managers even came around to make sure we were happy. I was not expecting this kind of exceptional service on such a busy evening. Food was phenomenal. My ahi tuna steak was perfectly rare and tender. The herb pesto sauce I chose for it complemented the dish well! Side note, they have various kinds of sauce you can choose from so if herb pesto isn’t your thing, that’s cool cause they have other options! The bang bang shrimp was the bomb. It had a crispy texture and the shrimp itself was absolutely juicy. The sauce they have on the shrimp is sweet and tangy– I wish I could pour that sauce over everything I eat. The bbq pork chops were flavorful and juicy– best pork chops I’ve had at a franchise! Totally exceeded my expectations. I look forward to trying more off their menu!

Came with a party of 5 people for dinner and was pleasantly surprised! –Our server Grayson(sp?) was super nice and attentive. –The shrimp appetizer was amazingly good, with a bit of a kick to it. –They had a legitimate wine list, and when our bottle was quoted at $ 37.50 it wasn’t three thousand dollars so that was a plus. –The Ahi Tuna Tacos were only ok. I’d prefer they do them in soft shells as they immediately crumbled the second I took a bite. They also could have toned down the white sauce as it made a gigantic mess when the shell crumbled. –The Ahi Tuna appetizer on the other hand was delicious! Would be nice to have a bigger dipping bowl for the soy sauce though as the cuts barely fit in it. –The prices were extremely affordable with most plates in the 10 – 15 dollar range and steaks for less than 25. Note: If you want to annoy your bartender and server and all the people you are eating with order yourself a Cold Snap mixed drink. The damn thing melts all over the table and leaves a mess. Not sure what genius thought this was a good idea for service at tables… I would definitely come back again!

Another Outstanding Dining experience. Came here for my Sweethearts Birthday and took advantage of the Valentine’s Special. We added Cocktails, the Mango Side Car is great and only $ 6, and of course the mandatory Bang Bang Shrimp. My Sea Bass Imperial was very delicious and my wife’s surf and turf tender and flavorful.

Ahh Bonefish! I wanted to like you, I know friends that like you. I’ve had offers to visit and eat there. And in the end, it was just ok. Stopped in for a business meal after work and catch up with some folks. Bonefish was already busy with the after five crowd, mostly 30 — 50 something professionals and Cary-ites. We grabbed a booth in the bar area and ordered up some apps: homemade chips and the bang bang shrimp. Both apps were very nicely done and well-plated, a good start. For the mains we all went off the special Tuesday lobster menu. I did some sliders which were just ok and my table-mate’s steak and lobster looked sorta sad. Service was very mixed, our wait-person seemed pretty disinterested and annoyed for some reason. So yeah Bonefish, you’ve got some potential but need to deliver better entrees and more consistent service for that fourth star…
