Carson Mall Shopping Center

I saw a sign that read «Carson Mall» and thought I would check it out. Very disappointed, most of the shops are closed at 5 PM. Early for a mall. It should just be a shopping plaza or a shopping center. It had a handful of stores, nothing to brag about. There’s a Sportmans Warehouse, Beall, Verizon, Little Caesers, and a few others. If they added more shops and close later, people might shop there.

At first glance it is really not a place one would venture into willingly.
But if you take some time and really look what they have to offer, it might fall into the category of funky local place where tourists fear to tread.
Some of the high points:
— Schat’s Bakery — worth the drive to Carson City!
— Bellissimo Boutique
— Bridger Mountain Boutique
— Crimson Moon
— Joann Fabrics — been here since the dawn of time
Low points (almost enough to bump it down to 2 stars)
— Very old and run down
— Odd parking lot — needs repainting
— Very very small
— limited shopping variety
Not a destination mall, but it was filled with Christmas arts and crafts that would make for some unique gifts, Hickory Farms, Christmas chotchkies, and a visit Santa store.
And it was not in the least bit crowded.
