Called to find out about paints they carry. Young man who answered the phone could not have been ruder. I was given short answers. It seemed like he couldn’t wait to get off the phone with me. There goes my business.

I went into Ace hardware looking for paint and because I didn’t know much about the older gentleman with rimless glasses gave me superb customer service but when I went to check out, I wasn’t given the same service. I was disrespected and I did not leave wanting to return. If I’m treated like that when giving my money, I think others should know before they give their money to this business

I went into White’s on Saturday afternoon looking for fuses for my stove. Not knowing much about this subject at all, I was hoping to speak with someone who could tell me what I needed to know. The first gentleman to check on me was as good as it gets as far as customer service goes. He told me what he knew, but he knew that the information he provided did not answer my question, so he went to ask someone else. I was anticipating the same kind of customer service when the second gentleman approached. What I experienced was a cocky, condescending person who answered my question, yes — but kept on talking and ended up talking down to me and degrading me. I had the fuses in my hand, ready to walk up to the cash register, and I ended up hanging them back on the peg and walking away. When he began to protest and get huffy about me leaving, I let him know that I was going to buy my hardware somewhere else because I didn’t appreciate the way I was being treated. I will never, ever go back.
