Awful! On my anniversary/​V-​Day my husband ordered me flowers from Tempel’s, big mistake. They were delivered to my office. I was actually embarrassed. Several other employees received flowers all much nicer than mine. Not bigger, just colorful and full. Mine looked like someone had picked the flowers from an empty lot and stuck them in the vase with no thought at all. The colors were dull the flowers lifeless. I thought the vase was ok, until I removed the flowers and saw it was cracked in two places. I called and complained. They said the owner was out, but they would call me next week. Never heard back. Will never shop there again. Shame on you for not taking pride in your work!

I was very disappointed with their services. I always send flowers, specifically Orchid arrangements, to brokerages around the Western United States that join our affiliate network to welcome them into the company. I have a standard $ 90 budget and that usually buys me a generous display with numerous stems. I have never been displeased until now– and let me say that I am usually really flexible with what they provide, as long as it looks elegant and nice! Since I am unable to see the arrangement, I ask for a photo of the flowers. I was shocked by what I saw (I will upload what an apparently $ 90 arrangement looks like from Tempel’s of Carmel Florist– totaling to about $ 105.35 including delivery). I simply received two standard purple Orchid stems in a plain ceramic (unpainted or decorated) pot with a small ceramic bird. Other florists definitely made more of an effort for $ 90! For example, a florist in San Francisco created an arrangement with 6 beautiful, large white Orchid stems in a large black ceramic vase with tasteful smaller plants arranged around it. I’ve sent out at least 6 arrangements with different florists in various areas – even in the expensive neighborhood of Beverly Hills, and had better arrangements sent out. I understand that the cost of flowers may vary accordingly, but the Orchid arrangement from Tempel’s was just unacceptable and made it seem like I sent out a $ 30 plant from a local grocery market.

This is the place to go if you want the most beautiful flowers for what ever the occasion! They never disappoint!

Nice quiet location in the Barnyard Shopping Center (near Hola’s on the first floor — kinda hidden) and usually not busy. I’ve used them several times as my wife works nearby and while I’m never a fan of the price for flowers, she is always happy with what they put together and deliver.
I do like how they offer me several options and don’t try to upsell me whenever i’m in there.

I was a bridesmaid in a friend’s wedding and all the flowers were from here. They arrived on time and were absolutely stunning! The flowers were so fresh and opened up slightly just in time for the ceremony. From the ceremony to the reception, everyone definitely noticed the beautiful flowers all around. I would recommend this florist in a heartbeat.

In the throes of planning a wedding, flowers can be a highly stressful item to cross off the list. I needed to find someone with skills and reliability. I made a couple of different appointments with local florists and I was very impressed with Pat Tempel at Tempel’s of Carmel. We met and I tried to describe the whimsical look that I was going for. I knew that peonies and dahlias were high on my list and I told her that I’m a texture girl. She immediately brought out pictures of kangaroo paw (one of my favorites!) and other gorgeous flowers. She absolutely read my mind and was able to nail the vision that I had in my head– now I wish everyone could do that. Her prices are fair and her prompt responses to my questions via email reflect her professionalism. After seeing samples I cannot wait to see everything on the wedding day!

The flowers far exceeded my expectations. They were absolutely breathtaking! A friend of mine had told me prior to the wedding– «Don’t sweat the small stuff, no one thinks twice about the flowers.» She pulled me aside and told me completely forget what she had said. Everyone loved the peonies bouquet, my bouquet, the arch flowers, and centerpieces. Pat was warm and professional, capturing the elegant/​California casual look that I wanted.

Ordered flowers for a Thursday birthday on a Wednesday morning. Flowers arrived very late on Thursday after a midday (at latest) delivery was promised. As the flowers were specifically for a birthday, morning delivery is the only thing that makes sense. Hello, she wants to enjoy them on THE DAY OF HER BIRTH.
Spoke to owner about late delivery and how displeased I was with their service. She was incredibly rude and refused to reimburse my delivery fee or compensate me in any way. She didn’t care about my disappointment and told me that was simply their policy.
Not cool.
