Christine did my makeup for my wedding. I found her on Unilocal because I’m not from the area and was getting married in Big Sur. Christine was amazing!!! I loved the way my makeup turned out. I felt absolutely beautiful. She was so easy to work with, professional and prompt. Anyone that doesn’t use her for their special occasion is really missing out!

Christine is AWESOME! She did my makeup for my wedding in April and made me look and feel beautiful. She is laid back with her approach, but, does not miss a single detail. She captured the look I wanted and made it look even better. I have also seen Christine for waxing and facials. She is wonderful. I would highly recommend her.

I found Christine through the Unilocal reviews. She was amazing for my wedding. She met me at the hotel in Monterey. The makeup lasted all night. It was air brushed and felt very like. My makeup looked natural and the fake eyelashes stayed on the next day. She was reasonably priced. I would recommend her to anyone. It was easy to communicate with her through text messages.

I’d give her 5 stars if she returned phone calls. Have had my eyebrows threaded here and she’s wonderful. Unfortunately, when I stop by during «business hours,» she’s not there… and when I call, no call back. Shame for such a talented woman.

I love The Beauty Bar. Christine is fantastic with my skin and her laid back, friendly personality is just the icing on the cake. This isn’t your typical pretentious, large spa– The Beauty Bar is small and Christine is the owner and only employee. Like I said, she is great with my skin, always personalizes my facials/​microdermabrasion sessions, and charges way less than most places who offer similar procedures.
Don’t hesitate to make an appointment. You won’t regret it.

My skin feels refreshed and glowy after Christine works her magic. I have received facials and a mini chemical peel, the latter which was a terrific boost to my dull, semi-​dry skin. Christine explains the products she is using on your face and each of their benefits. She is also good with waxing.

Christine is Awesome! She handled everything that I needed for my Wedding. She did the makeup for me and my bridesmaids, my eye lash extensions, my spray tan (it looked totally natural), and my leg waxing. She was very accommodating with my group, she was even able to squeeze my mother in last minute!
The make up was great, mine was air brushed and it lasted very well. It still looked great at the end of the night! She is very steady with her hands, the eye last extensions came out beautiful and they lasted for weeks.
