Papa Murphy’s

OK — yet another place where the quality of the food is overshadowed by the lifeless service. Maybe one day, robot technology will put every «who gives a shit» 20-​something restaurant employee out of a job. The problem with this location was the two mind-​numbed employees who spent 5 minutes re-​filling the cash register tape before even starting on my pizzas. When you’re waiting in a Papa Murphy’s lobby for 20 minutes, that 20 minutes seems like an eternity, especially when the Wal-​Mart frozen pizza freezer was about 30 paces north. As one other review mentioned, there are way too many fantastic artisan pizza restaurants in this area to put up with such a long wait for take-​n-​bake. I could have had an Old Meridian over at Crust. Note to the manager, if you’re reading this: The product quality was great, but the part of the equation that you do have control over is the part that needs work. And, if you happen to be one of the people there tonight at 5pm, then you should be ashamed.

Love the pizza. Hate the wait. Call ahead or be prepared to spend 20 minutes. They did run out of toppings on a Friday night. But it was a busy evening and they were very friendly trying to make us happy with substitutes

I ordered two large pizzas, a mushroom and green pepper and a meat one. They come on a paper baking pan, which is convenient.
I baked them as soon as I returned home. I’ve had better frozen pizza. They were very bland. The crust had no flavor and baked up weird. There was nothing I liked about these pizzas. While the toppings and cheese were plentiful, and they looked like they should be delicious, they weren’t. The total cost was $ 25. There are way too many great pizza places around to waste a pizza night on these take and bakes.

Really? I’ve never had a pizza at here or any Papa Murphy’s that were remotely good. Cheap frozen pizzas in Walmart are better. Look elsewhere, as I honesty have not had a worse pizza in my life.

Cheap pizza, good pizza, phone customer service good, at the establishment iffy. Nothing fancy, just uncooked pizza that you take home to bake and enjoy right out of your oven.
