We ordered the pretzels and beer cheese queso and thought they were great. My wife is spice sensitive and the dip was on the upper end of her tolerance but the boys devoured it. We had a NY style and a house specialty pizza and both were wonderful. The NY style was truly NY style, very thin, excellent meat, cheese, sauce, fresh basil. The mushroom specialty pizza was very flavorful. We’ll be back next time we are in town. Service rocked too!

I haven’t even tried the pizza yet, my husband and I just picked up a few pizzas and were underwhelmed with the customer service…(didn’t finish the post before eating the pizza). The pizza was amazing and made us wish the level of customer service was of the same caliber. We will return for the food and lower our expectations for the staff.

Enjoyed some truly tasty pizza and a nice brew here a few days ago. The atmosphere was typical of a pizza place and felt much more family oriented than a «taproom» would lead you to believe. They have a nice list of weekly drink specials and a rather long list of pizzas. While my pizza was very good, I thought the price point was a tad high. The pretzel and spicy cheese app was really really good. The lowest point was our service. The fellows that brought out our food were really nice and quite funny, but our main server was a total grump. Our request for water was not met until our 3rd ask, as which point he brought out a comically large amount of water glasses – close to double our 7 person party size. The passive aggressive water-baring was a big no-go for me.

A good family dining option(that also TVs with«the game» on for dad). I had the artichoke chicken pizza, which was tasty, but nothing to write home about. The salad however, was delicious. I’m a sucker for a salad with feta, cranberries, walnuts and a vinaigrette dressing — light and nourishing. The wait staff was friendly and happy to cater to the kids many needs(new plates after their salads, multiple refills, etc). The food took a little longer than expected, but our waiter apologized and explained that they had a new cook in the kitchen that day. We weren’t in a hurry, so we didn’t mind. I wouldn’t choose it over Basbeaux’s, but it was tasty and I, overall, had a good experience.

I had the pleasure of attending Boombozz 4th anniversary party! It was packed when we arrived! We waited about an hour to get a seat, but it was well worth it! They didn’t have their traditional menu but we were able to sample many different types of pizza, cheese bread, meatballs, wing sauces and salads that evening! Everything we tried was delicious! We left absolutely stuff! Their beer selection is huge… Full of local craft choices. I must say, despite how busy they were, we were well taken care of! Everyone was friendly and attentive. Even while we were waiting, someone stopped to see how we were doing. Our server was hustling but still made time to chitchat and make us feel welcome. This was our first visit, so I’m looking forward to stopping in again soon! I can’t wait to try the full menu. Happy Anniversary, Boombozz Pizza and Taproom! Wishing you many more successful years!

Definitely one of the best places I’ve ever eaten pizza! Yum! The even cooler part about these folks are the fact that they give you a free drink while you wait to pick up your takeout. I actually go just to order the pretzel breadsticks and beer cheese sauce with the Nutella beignets!!! Holy cow! Those suckers are a guaranteed 5 lb weight gain.

We decided to try Boombozz because we heard that the chicken wings were good and we LOVE chicken wings! They did not disappoint. We ordered them dry rubbed with buffalo sauce on the side. Next time, we will have them tossed in the buffalo sauce, but they were good even without it. We also ordered a Greek salad and a sampler plate with humus, Greek olives, feta, peppers, bruschetta, pita and crusty bread– YUM! Everything was really fresh and SO good. We didn’t try the pizza, but we will definitely be back to try it soon! It was a Saturday night and the place was packed, but we were seated right away in the bar. The service was great too, which is always nice.

I lived in Louisville for a year and never made it to Boombozz, so I was excited to see that a location opened in Indy! We tried the bruschetta and had a pizza as the entrée. Both were great! The atmosphere is great for watching a sports game or a casual dinner. Service was very good even with a packed restaurant the night before Thanksgiving.

I really enjoy boom bozz. The pizza is great, and both the cheese bread and pretzel appetizers are super tasty. I’ve been 3 times now, and each time we were able to get bar seating without waiting. Pasta dishes are better than a chain restaurant, like Olive Garden. I recommend the ziti with meatballs, although the pasta was a little mushy. The portion was huge, and made it 2 full meals for me. My only complaints are: 1. Each time I’ve asked for a beer or cider on the menu, and each time the waiter comes back and says they’ve either recently ran out, or they don’t stock it anymore. I understand if it’s recent, but the wait staff should know what’s out. And, if it’s been out for a while, mark it out on the menu or something. 2. Bartender on staff didn’t know how to make an Old Fashioned. It always surprises me when you go to a bar and no one knows how to make a classic drink. Maybe I’m just old fashioned. The waiter recommended one of their mixed drinks, which was made with bourbon. It was ok, but for $ 9 I don’t think I’d try it again.

This is by far my favorite pizza in the area. You also can’t go wrong with their amazing beer selection and their wine choices aren’t bad either. We have always been lucky and had awesome wait staff here as well. My husband and I love it that they will make their special pizzas as half and half as we have such different tastes. We love to come here and will keep coming back! I highly recommend their house salad, hand tossed crust, the Quattro pizza, and the goat cheese marinara appetizer. My husband loves their BBQ chicken and their all meats pizza too.

Another Unilocaler’s picture of the soft pretzels brought me in. They looked good enough to overlook the mediocre Unilocal reviews. They were very good — soft and buttery, but since when is velveeta Rotel dip considered beer queso??? We also ordered the dry rubbed wings with sauce on the side, and they were very good. Service wasn’t very friendly. I know we stopped by kind of late, but the bar tender just seemed tired and hassled by us asking a few questions. This place is okay. I won’t go back on my own, but I won’t complain if someone else suggests it.

Tried it for the first time and loved it. What a nice change from ordinary and predictable. We waited a short time on Friday night, it was just two of us. Our waitress, Nicole, provided great service. Lots of local beers on tap plus good mixed drinks. Good arrived in good time despite how busy they were. The pizza selection was different with lots of variety. For most pizzas you can get individual sizes if you can’t agree on which one. Of course they have medium and large too. They also let you divide a pizza and get two types in one. We chose the chicken fajita and smoke house pizza. The smoke house had brisket, bacon, red onions, cherry tomatoes– Excellent! The toppings and crust were great. It came with garlic sour cream that was a nice touch on the fajita pizza. Lots of families there with ample seating. TVs everywhere. They also have a separate counter for take out. We loved it and plan to return soon.

Second time here, and I swear, I don’t know how these pizzas are«award winning.» One of them supposedly won a Food Network award. I mean, they’re fine, but just about every local option beats them. They do have a good beer selection and service is pretty decent, but I don’t think I’ll be back for a third time.

Wow this place is A+. Amazing selection of draft beer, savory appetizers like pretzel breadsticks with spicy beer cheese, and super creative pizza. I love those thin crust pizza. Leave more room for toppings and less for crust right?! During my last visit we ordered the monthly pizza special which was a bbq pulled pork with tiny little cherry tomatoes that burst with flavor. A must try if you have a chance. Scarlet Lane Brewing was the featured beer of the month and the head brewer was actually there coming around to the tables to let you try an IPA and tell you all about the beer. So fun and delicious. Whether you’re there just for a drink or for a full on meal, you’re in good hands with this knowledgeable staff.

Laughable The«waiter» had his apron barely hanging on He looked completely uninterested How this place had any business just floors me! We order the White Pizza, a side salad, a side Caesar, 2 waters and a Pepsi. The Pepsi tasted like it sat out all night. BUTTHESALAD… the salad was brown and WARM!!! Totally gross we asked for the Pizza to be boxed I wasgrossed out by the salads. But then the $ 13.00 pizza came out and I laughed I’ve had bigger appetizer pizzas… seriously I’ve never done a review, cuz I give people the benefit of the doubt… but this place was a complete JOKE. No mgr visit after the BROWNSALADS!!! Left the kitchen… But the pizza… good god…$ 13 for the pizza was a total joke. If they offered me a 75% partnership to go eat there again… I wouldn’t Oh yea after we had 2 pieces of pizza a person… we made dinner.

This was our first visit to Boombozz Pizza and Taphouse. My wife and I were waiting for our family photos to be developed next door and decided to try this place out. We were very tired and very hungry! The atmosphere consisted of several TV’s and a family friendly environment. The pizza was incredible and the best we’ve tasted in a long time. They have a reasonable lunch special the includes a personal pizza and a side salad. Our orders were promptly delivered. Not only was the food delicious but our waiter, Mark, was exceptional. He was personable, helpful, friendly, answered all our questions, and attentive. We felt welcomed there and will gladly visit here again.

Pretty good place. It has the branding and feel of a large national chain(a la Old Chicago’s) but in actuality, it is a small local chain from KY that somehow found it’s way to Carmel/Westfield. My wife and I have been there for both dinner and nightcaps and both have been enjoyable experiences. The beer and wine selection is phenomenal, with taps across the back wall and 20+ different wines. They always have different craft selections being tapped with special events to celebrate the occasions. Overall, great place for a drink or «happy hour» enjoyment. The giant cookie is absolutely to die for. It comes in a 8″ cast iron pizza pan and it is soooooo gooey and warm that your mouth melts faster than the two big scoops of vanilla bean ice cream. Don’t want the cookie? Too bad, just get the cookie! The pizza’s are good, but I have to admit that they were nothing memorable. I need to try them again before I can give a better review.

Made the trek up to Carmel all in the name of trying a pizza place that boyfriend and I hadn’t been to before. It’s getting difficult to find such a place, and we’re finding that we have to travel farther and farther away. What does this say about our pizza consumption habit??? Anyways, went up to Boombazz on a Saturday evening around 8. It was busy, but only had to wait 5 minutes or so for a table. I liked the atmosphere — pretty typical family pizza place with TVs, but it was also really friendly. Once we were seated, we did wait probably close to 10 minutes for our server to come to our table, but after that wait, he was great. Can’t complain about service. Boombazz has a good selection of local and seasonal beers and also a good menu. We ordered a goat cheese marinara appetizer(and they gave us more bread after we ate all of ours and still had dip left. Yay! Gluttons unite!) and we did a half and half pizza to split. We got the D’Sienna and the Turkey Sausage. Both were good(really good actually), but we both liked the spiciness of the Turkey Sausage one a bit more. I’m leaving the 5th star off due to the bit of a wait we had once we were seated and just a bit of a lack of originality. However, we will definitely be back next time were in or around Carmel/Westfield.
