Well, now I can say I’ve been to Orvis… I’m really surprised this place is still open. I was the only one in there. Very expensive merchandise, along the lines of LL Bean but way more expensive. It’s fun to go in once but I would never buy anything from there.

Typical Orvis store. Lots of outdoor products. Great selection of fly fishing equipment, which is what Orvis is most famous for.
Honestly, I don’t know how they keep the store open. Every time I stop by, the store has maybe two customer in there and their average age is 85. The fact that the store has been open a few years and this is the first review is also indicative of their low traffic. My bet is the store closes in the not so distant future. I’m guessing fly fishing in the middle of corn fields doesn’t have a huge following.
