Ugh! I might as well be shopping at a high end TJ Maxx! I HATE going through racks and that’s what you have to do to find anything. WAY too many clothes. I like the«less is more» boutique-y feel and this place, doesn’t have it. Way over-priced, and they obviously have a huge mark-up as I buy the same items at other places for less ALL the time.

If you’re a fashion you-know-what, this is kind of the place for you. Yeah, they have 7 For All Mankind, Diesel, Roberto Cavalli(shades, anyway), and more. But they’re not the best of the lines. I mean, last time I went in there, they had a Cavalli-esque(it wasn’t) gray feather dress whose sequined top was boxy and ill-fitting. Didn’t even look good on the mannequin. But then, sometimes you find treasure. Like the suede, round toe and stacked heel booties that are really in(for $ 200, but that’s not outrageous for this place). Or the cross-charmed necklaces at the back.

A friend of mine did me the favor of dragging me around the city one time, in search of a «decent pair of jeans.» Problem is, I’m a 30-something mom of three with a little belly and a lot of behind. I was certainly not into shopping around for designer jeans, but Frankey’s was a fun stop on the whirlwind jeans tour. The chick who was working was a big help, even lying that my butt looked good in a pair of way-to-skinny 7 For All Mankind jeans. Yikes. Price was a bit high for me … but I was really starting to think the jeans did something for my figure. I’m not sure if they did. But I was sold. I bought them … and have been back a few times to look around. I haven’t bought anything since, but I’ve had my eye on this awesome little black T …(hint, hint)

Let me start by saying this place is WAAAAAY out of my price range… for now. As long as I’m towing the line financially as a young person, I will stick with the Gap, but as soon as I see the income boost I need to support my fashion habit, I’ll be kicking it at Frankey’s as much as my pocket book can handle. For a straight guy, or for any guy, for that matter, I am pretty fashion savvy. And as far as accesibility to modern urban fashions, Frankey’s, «The Rail» at Nordstroms and Sak’s, are about the only games in town to find the best stuff. So barring the apperance of a Zara or Urban Outfitters popping up out of no where, Frankey’s more than fits the bill.\\\ They carry all the best in denim fashions, including Diesel, Seven for all Man Kind and True Religion. They also carry a variety of t-shirts by the best in fringe designers like Ed Hardy and the shoes to go with it all. If you need to pick up a nice pair of jeans or a new favorite tee, check out Frankey’s, if you have the budget to support it.

Coming from Atlanta, I was a little worried about the shopping here in Indy… but Frankeys brings designer digs to the Midwest. THANKYOU. Sure, it’s more expensive, but you get what you pay for and I am in New York a lot for business and I need to avoid looking«midwestern.» Also, the staff was great and Jane helped me a lot. I recommend for anyone who has the money and thinks fashion is important.

This place wants to be THE elite place to go shopping, but outside of the Park Tudor crew(rather, their parents), I don’t think anyone is silly enough to pay the exorbitant prices for the clothes you can get at plenty of other little boutique shops(Pitaya, Slinky, Broad Ripple Fashionista) for a fraction of the price.

i wanted to like this place. i really did. but it just sort of fell flat. i suppose that there was a good selection of jeans… just none that i was looking for. if you are looking for joe’s jeans or diesel, then this could be your place. i thought it was EXTREMELY overpriced and i am not comparing it to a discount shop of any kind. i am from chicago and simply comparing it to other peer boutiques. but $ 736 for an ugly PLEATHER jacket? i don’t think so. the one thing that i did enjoy was the fact that there was a decent selection of botkier bags and ones that you do not necessarily see at every boutique that carries them. it was worth a stop just to satisfy my curiosity since i was in town anyway. but not worth a trip back.
