Jersey Mike’s Subs

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Jersey Mike’s! I always get the same thing, #7 (turkey and provolone) sub in a tub with extra lettuce. They use plenty of meat and cheese on their subs/​salads which I appreciate. There’s nothing worse than a sandwich or salad with hardly any meat. Make sure to try the red pepper relish too, it’s so addicting! This is my go to sub shop.

Redeemed my free sub here today from the rewards program. Extremely friendly service. Fast, clean and professional. Highly recommended. A large variety of subs to accommodate all needs.

Ok, let me just say that this was an increasingly awkward and uncomfortable experience.
Earlier this evening my girlfriend and I came to the sub shop just for a quick bite to eat. We came and were greeted with a friendly smile. Too friendly.
We then checked out the menu but only after 30 seconds the employee behind the counter kept asking us what we wanted, if we wanted a hot or cold sandwich, etc.
She’s gluten-​free, so I asked him if they had any gluten-​free options. The employee then kept talking around the question and then never answered it completely. Finally, he then said that they had bowls that she ordered one of those.
That wouldn’t have been such a problem if he didn’t ask her if she didn’t want to try anything with gluten, after she’d clearly stated that she’s gluten free.
Then the young man behind the counter took what seemed like an extremely long time to make a sandwich and a bowl of food, which ended up being a salad.
The food itself was mediocre at best. But because of the uncomfortable experience, I will not be returning nor will recommend this sub shop to anyone.

I got the Italian and it was good. They make them fresh and fast. I am still super sad Lenny’s is gone and it will never replace my love for them, but this is a good alternative. Jersey Mikes used to be my favorite and then they all went down hill and I stopped going. But I am glad they are making a come back with new locations. You can tell this location gets busy, but the staff was good under pressure. They were making food for people in line and doing phone orders and doing it all really well.

Had an unusual craving for BEEF so decided to give Jersey Mike’s a try. I hemmed and hawed over the options and finally decided on a Philly beef (dah!). The owner looked at me with a smile and said, «You won’t be disappointed.» And indeed I was not! In fact, I liked it so much that I was craving another within two days, and I don’t even like sandwiches! The second time I had The Big Kahuma — grilled onions and peppers plus mushrooms, jalapeños and extra cheese — oh yeah.
What time is it? Just writing this is making me hungry…

I’ve been to the 116^th street location twice had the roast beef and then the Italian, best subs ever, fresh bread and real meat sliced right in front of you. Once you try these subs you won’t go back to the other guys. Friendly staff, clean store.

Best sandwiches. After trying all the other sandwiches in the area this is by far the best. Their turkey sub ‘mikes way’ is the best.

I’m updating this review. Because I have d-​e-​f-​i-​n-​i-​t-​e-​l-​y been here more than 2 times by now.
This place is THE. BEST.
I’ve tried a couple of their hot sandwiches, and they are pretty good, but I’m never as impressed with them as I am the cold cut sandwiches. That being said, the cold cut sandwiches are the best subs in the Carmel area by far, especially if you get it «Mike’s Way.» Still haven’t tried the wraps, it’s on my to-​do list, but I heard that they are also really great.
I really wish they offered sliced cucumber, though. One of my favorite things to get on my sandwiches is absent from their potential sandwich additions.

Only my second time to a Jersey Mikes, but it’s was quite tasty indeed. Clean and relatively fast, can’t complain.
