Eyes by India – Carmel

Haven’t been here for a few years, took a break from getting threaded and began waxing, until all of my Indian friends had the most gorgeous eyebrows and they recommended threading again! I came here on a whim– no appointment, very random, on a Monday night at 6. It was painful, but extremely quick. No longer than 5 minutes! My eyebrows look beautiful– and I did ask the woman to keep them natural and to just clean them up. Will be back!

Good location I suppose considering I was close by. No one was inside so I was assisted quickly. It was less painful than I expected/​had in other places but she missed a few spots and I had to ask her THREE times to come and fix it. Each time she finished, she’d walk away to her desk area instead of waiting next to me to make sure I was satisfied.
Given the urgency of getting it done soon, it was fine, but had I lived here, I wouldn’t go here again.

I’ve gone here three or four times and the first few times I was very pleased. Regini (I’m sure I’m spelling that wrong… she’s younger with very long hair that she keeps uncovered) was very professional and took her time and my brows always came out nice without it hurting too badly. The last time I went Regini was not there but my brows were looking so bad and I knew I wouldn’t be in the area again any time soon so I settled for the other lady. I don’t think she was rude but she was rather short with me and I didn’t like how my brows came out even after I gave specific instructions. So Regini earns five stars in my opinion but I took one off for inconsistency between the employees.

This place is the worst eyebrow threading place ever! The women who work there are very rude and don’t have any customer service training, especially the one with the head covering. She told me I should go to the usual place I get threading done. I only go there when I have to because its near my house, but every time I get to experience her rudeness. I was the only one there. I am sure they don’t want any customers to come because they don’t own the place.

3^rd visit here and it progressively gets worse. I dont think the women who work here are very experienced — I have had my eyebrows threaded for almost 15 years now and it should not hurt much — mild stinging and quickly done. Only when people are inexperienced they try to pull one hair at a time causing annoying kinda pain. But hey atleast they dont botch you your eyebrows! If you can tolerate more than normal pain that is associated with threading, then this place is not bad. Thats the reason for 2 stars and not 1.
However they know nothing about customer service. On my last visit, the person threading me was busy chatting to her associate — loudly at that… right by my ear. It was bad as is that she was causing pain and slow but then she was screaming right by my ear. I finally asked her to probably finish talking to her associate and then she could attend to me — to which she questioned me as to why couldnt she talk while working on me and smirked at me… great attitude !
I wont recommend this place to anyone or make another trip.

Had lashes applied. Horrible. They were uneven and huge gaps between them. I am sure the lady had no idea what she was doing! I love Roma BUT WILL NOT go back to the Camel location!!!

Love getting my eyebrows threaded but hate when the people are rude. The main lady thats always there always has an attitude! If you are not happy working there then work somewhere else lady!

I’ve always left Eyes by India very happy with how my brows looks. However, I think their customer service leaves something to be desired. I went to this location in early August. I, along with two other customers, found the doors to be locked during regular business hours. As we walked away, we were told that we could come in, but would need to wait 5 minutes because she was on the phone. The wait was longer than 5 minutes and she performed a threading (not on me) and never put the phone down. I went again last week and waited with another customer as both threaders were eating. Why in the world are you both eating at the same time, when you have paying customers? Right now, I deal with this because the location is convenient, but I would try somewhere else if it were to open nearby.
