3 years I have been driving and Friday they deactivated me, with explanation that they changed company’s that do personal checks on people and I’m still under old company. Be that as it may be, it will take 7 –10 days not counting weekends for me to be authorized to drive. Just got msg from über about price surge going on in Oceanside and Carlsbad. I think this is what they have done to get surge going. I WILLNOT drive for them in 7 – 10 days. You go eat steak and waiter tells you the price has tripled because they are low on steaks. The whole time there’s a freezer full of steaks. Über is as bad on riders as they are on drivers. Fools are paying a company to drive for and receive horrible treatment as if drivers enjoy this treatment. Riders are paying high prices because cabs take longer to get to you and at the moment über cut their rates. Über will stick it to riders in do time. Riders are using über despite the comment from über that if riders don’t like the rates or surge, they can ride a bike. Now that’s professional. ROTINHELL über. Thanks for cutting me off on Friday, you did me a favor. I do believe paying a company to work for them is borderline gangster. No expense to über at all. Good luck drivers and users of über. I’ll see if consumer affairs is interested in some info. Über is playing serious games with drivers and riders and drivers and riders are paying their rent and salaries. Drivers and riders be very careful of what you sign to be a part of driving and riding with über. They are responsible for nothing except collecting 20/25% of drivers and riders fees. As a rider and driver you think you are safe. Well, good luck if there is an accident or mishap.

I would just like to say I have used über many times and usually have an amazing experience but last night I had an absolutely terrible experience. I requested an über but had to cancel it due to a change in plans. When I went to request it again, the same guy was going to come pick us up. He called me three times cussing me out calling me cheap and other names that I won’t write on here which was extremely offensive and inappropriate. I later came to find out that these are«Über X» drivers do not have to go through an extensive process or get any background checks to become an über X driver. It really scared me that this über driver had all of my information. I will really consider which service I will be using next time for transportation. Weird.
