The Mint Chocolate Chip Smoothie I ordered was delightful! I’ve tried to replicate this at home with various vegan protein powders but what makes it so perfect is the Choice protein blend. Amazing blend of ingredients. I will be purchasing it in the future!

Best vegan lunch spot I’ve seen. The food is creative and high quality, and the setting is very unique: they’ve basically taken over a parking lot and make it a cute, sunny restaurant park with tree tables, murals, lots of grass to sit or play on, and some big chairs. The salads are good, the banana bread is great, and the PB&J smoothie is amazing.

Genius set up outdoors– the shoppe itself is Efficient, practical, compact. Juices, bowls, snacks, etc. Order your choice of superfood then have a seat anywhere– picnic tables, grassy lot– it’s puppy friendly too :) «Bacon» Coconut flakes– yum. addicting being some home– sprinkle it over eggs, baked yams, mashed potatoes, pasta– endless possibilities.

First off, I love the juice here. I love the location and setup. What I do not love is the continually rising prices and flakey hours. Went on 12⁄31 to get a beet-chia juice and it was $ 8. Next day, prices went up to $ 10 for the same juice. I get the fact that rent must be crazy expensive in the heart of Carlsbad Village, and I’m sure that this likely won’t affect the tourist crowd, but as a Carlsbad resident, I just can’t pay $ 10 for a juice day in and day out. Also, the posted hours are 7AM to 5:30PM, but it appears to close earlier than that some days. Now that’s out of the way, let’s talk about the juice. Cold pressed and served in cool glass jars($ 1 off your next order per glass jar recycled, awesome!) it is outstanding. I’ve had a few varieties and was never disappointed. The Immunity Surge shot is incredible! I’ve never had the food or baked goods, but they all appear to be very good. I hope this place can figure how to bring the pricing back to a reasonable level, and I’d definitely frequent Choice more often if that came to pass.

$ 10 for a smoothie seems excessive to me, but it’s true what the cashier said, «it’s organic, pay now or pay later». That said, I signed up for the Warrior as it came highly recommended by a nice guy I met in line and the cashier. I wanted to love my smoothie: sadly, I did not. Could be because I like my smoothies sweet and this was not. I felt healthy drinking my green machine of a creation, but at $ 10, I should have been satisfied. At least I tried it. I’ll consider returning for the PB&J when I’m feeling like a rich, lol. 5 stars for the wonderful service. I can only give my warrior smoothie 3 for my smoothie. And, that’s being generous.

I visited this establishment over the new year’s weekend and loved the vibe of this place tucked into a small park-like area in the Carlsbad Village. Dining is totally alfresco, and it’s a good place for the kids to run around. Me and the missus shared an acai bowl(that’ll be my main meal for 2016), and liked the chia seed jam and coconut flakes that topped it. Unlike some other places, you have to pay extra for granola and some other toppings. As mentioned prior, it’s a cool vibe here: you can just kick back and slowly watch the day go by. You’re only a few blocks from the beach as well. It’s a cool place to people watch as everyone strolls by.

Fresh vegan food in a great location. Prices are fair considering the quality of products but I do wish they had smaller options for cheaper for students on a budget like me. Overall good food and drink and a really nice grass area to relax and dine in the center of the village.

Healthiest place on earth that I’ve ever been in the heart of Carlsbad village. We ordered green, strawberry zen and PBJ smoothies, Eco sun tuna sushi, macho taco salad. And couple of Immunity surge shots.(orange juice lemon, oregano oil, turmeric juice, ginger & cayenne) wow! Love the succulents display. They also use the alkaline water of Carlsbad. Alkaline water is the best. Definitely we are coming back here pretty soon. This place are organically awesome! dairy free non Gmo gluten free & vegan !!!

I have visited Choice several times over the last couple years, only ever for smoothies, and I have always been happy with them. That is why I chose them to do a 3 day cleanse. The $ 190 price tag shocked me, but I know they have quality product and I need to de-bloat so I can bloat right back up for the Holidays :) I signed up and paid online ahead of time. Here is what you get for the cleanse: 3 Chlorophyll waters(your 1st drink of the day) 6 green juices(2 a day) 3 almond milks(1 a day) 6 assorted juices(2 a day) 3 salads(one each evening) A cooler bag A support email A super booster shot(I actually never received this) The juices come labeled 1 – 6, you drink them in order, and then a salad for dinner. The first 2 salads I got had lettuce that was completely soggy(like I could pour water out of the container). I had to take the toppings off and use my own lettuce. Not that big of deal, but on their own, the salads have a $ 10 price tag so if you were buying this to eat it there, I would be disappointed. I brought this up to the manager and she suggested the quinoa salad instead since I am picking it up the day before I eat it, and it keeps better. She also gave me an extra salad to make up for it. I appreciate that. You get a $ 1 credit per bottle you turn in, so you should get $ 18 in choice credit if you returning all your bottles. Use it to by a PB&J smoothie!

I stopped here while driving through Carlsbad with a friend this summer and being hungry for a snack. I had the Acai Vitality smoothie, which was delicious and the quinoa sushi. My smoothie was excellent and the sushi was pretty good, though I’ve had better vegan sushi elsewhere. I realize that the quality of the ingredients is high, but it was a pretty expensive«snack». I definitely recommend this place if you are in the area!

In my 2.5 day stay, I came to this place twice… yes, it’s that good. I got the Strawberry Zen Smoothie and the Banana Bread Superfood Muffin. That smoothie HIT the spot after the beach. It wasn’t too sweet and it wasn’t sour(like some are if the strawberries aren’t sweet). It is a bit pricey… I believe that smoothie was $ 8. I’ve definitely had cheaper from other places who use fresh ingredients, nothing«fake», etc. However, in the end it was worth it. The banana muffin: at FIRST, I wasn’t a huge fan. But after 3 bites, I was ;) It was because you can taste that it is definitely a healthy muffin. It was $ 3.50, but was pretty dang tiny. If I didn’t want to savor the flavor, I could’ve eaten it in 4 bites… or less. The main thing I love about this place is their location. It seems to be in the heart of Carlsbad Village. Next to it on the wall, they have plants and quotes. «Exercise Compassion«Live Respectfully» «Be Kind» «Choose Happiness». Just great vibes from this area. Also, by that wall they have a low, wooden table where you can sit on the grass and enjoy your food. Lots of families were here. Big area for the kids(or adults) to play. This place is not a «restaurant», it’s just like a rectangular box(for lack of a better description) in the middle of a semi squared off area. I miss it already!

Choice Juicery a wonderful Vegan|Gluten Free Superfood Bar that creates delicious healthy juice mixes. My first visit I had the Acai Vitality Smoothie. If you are craving something simple, this can be a substitute for a meal. Intrigued by their juices, I tried Choice Juicery’s 1 day cleanse on my next visit. This package came with 6 juices and 1 salad for $ 60. You are given 1 Chlorophyll Water, 1 Craft Sprout Almond Milk, 2 Green Juices, and 2 Assorted Juices. If you have not been on a juice cleanse before, just take it easy. Six bottles is a lot in one day. The Hot Sunrise gave me a little kick with the cayenne! The Mediterranean Power Bowl was not particularly tasty. The salad was bitter and soggy. Perhaps the vinaigrette should have been separated from the salad. I would not recommend this salad. The Coconut«Bakon» Cobb tastes better. You can redeem your glass cleanse bottles for other items. Reuse and recycle!

I had the superhero vanilla smoothie and the quinoa sushi. The smoothie was delicious. One of the best smoothies I’ve had! The quinoa sushi was good but not as tasty as it looked. I’ll probably try something different next time. I like that everything is vegan and healthy. There’s outdoor seating and you can bring your dog, which is cool. Good customer service too. Would definitely go back.

Being from LA, I love my juice places!!! I was so excited when I found this place. They have awesome juices and smoothies. Choice is mainly an outdoor place and they have a really nice patio to sit and enjoy! They even have yoga here every third Saturday of the month which I’m super excited to try!

First, let me get a little gripe out of the way. Today was the first time I’ve been here, so I wasn’t aware that you’re supposed to place your order in the back of the fully-open booth. I stood for a good five or ten minutes looking at the menu and wondering why no one would ask to take my order. The girls seemed friendly enough(though their giggly banter amongst themselves was a little annoying), so I got pretty annoyed. Another customer came over to my side of the booth to ask if I was using the table in front of me, and that’s when I asked where you take your order. Alright, now that that’s over, I’ll get onto the products review. The menu has a pretty wide variety of drinks to choose from, so I was glad I didn’t have to make up a complicated beverage all on my own. They have drinks, bowls(not sure what that is), and glass bottles you can take with you. If you get a bottle, wash it, and bring it back you get a $ 1 discount. Pretty nice. I ordered the Orange Dreamsicle, an $ 8 combination of almond milk, date, choice protein(dunno what that is, but they say it’s plant based protein), banana, orange, and pineapple. This drink was very creamy, almost like a milkshake. It was sweet, but not too sweet, and the mixture of flavors was very much like a creamsicle but with a hint of banana. Also, it came in a plastic cup made from corn and labeled as 100% compostable. Very cool.

I overheard hearing the girls working behind the counter saying that their PB&J smoothie is the«best smoothie in North County.» & I’m like whoaaaaa, that’s a huge statement so I MUST try it now! lol But I wasn’t craving a smoothie, so I ordered the PB&J bowl instead, topped with granola and bananas. — The taste of the PB&J is delicious!!! It was like a swirl of peanut butter mixed in with real jelly. YUMMMM. — The consistency of was too watery for a bowl. It was almost like soup Please make it thicker! :( — The amount of toppings were good, however the granola was too chunky for me so I had to break them apart. The PB&J, is it really the«best» in North County? In my opinion, no. But it’s definitely good!

Super cool place made out of a shipping container, right in the heart of Carlsbad downtown district. They’ve got succulents(one of my many loves), handmade wooden tables situated around a large grown tree and art on the building closest to them. I’ve been here a couple of times. I have tried the«bakon» salad and it was just too much for me. I love healthy food, but there is something about flavoring coconut to taste like bacon that I just couldn’t stomach. Maybe it’s my love of bacon. To each their own. You may love it! Try it out. PB&J smoothie? Exactly like a PBJ& Banana sandwich minus the bread. They make this raspberry chia jam that is layered in the drink. SOGOOD. I’ve never drank a smoothie that fast in my life. The reason for this review? STELLAR customer service. I was standing behind this man who was loudly putting the lady at the counter through the ringer. I mean, I’ve never seen anything like it. For example, «Where do you source your almonds from? Why not source them from here? Keep it more local! Where do you get your carrots? Oh. I’m not a fan of them. Can I have a sample of this? You’re out? Well, can I have a sample of this.» And this continued for a while. After he was done grilling her, he called up a buddy on the phone and started loudly complaining about the girl. I could hear it. Everyone could hear it. I’m sure she could hear it. He decided he wasn’t done and walked up to start grilling her again. She FINALLY told him she would answer any questions he had, but he needed to be nicer and more respectful. GOODFORYOU! I wouldn’t have helped him. Props to you!

Yummy, definitely recommend this place! It’s so easy to be healthy with places like this in North County. The smoothies are filling and satisfying. I had a salad as well, but I wasn’t crazy about it. I felt like it was so much romaine and not enough other things in the salad… but it’s not a big deal. I still love this place! I’ll be back for the drinks… and I’ve heard great things about the quinoa sushi, so that’s next on the list to try! The people who work here are friendly and helpful. If it’s your first time, they totally guide you through the whole concept and point out popular items, give recommendations and answer any questions.

I’m not a vegetarian/vegan and I didn’t realize the smoothie I got was. I got the Orange Dream and I really liked it a lot and not to mention I like dates. So I was in the area and wanted something to eat and I remember back in the day this spot was a waffle stand. I decided to stay and get something to drink they had salads that did look pretty good a little pricey but still looked good. I also got a small bottle of immunity which is orange juice, lemon juice, cayenne and a few other ingredients. I bought the immunity because the night before I was hanging out with someone who was getting over a cold. So I thought okay great this little bottle of immunity for $ 4 would help fight off any sickness. So I started to drink it and oh boy that stuff is strong and spicy. The bad part was I got sick about 5 hours after drinking the immunity.

It is so good, it makes me want to move back to So Cal. I came here twice on a recent trip. On the way down to Encinitas and on the way up to LA. On the first trip I had the peanut butter and jelly smoothie. It sounded rich to me, but it came highly recommended by a friend. And I am a sucker for a house special. It was rich, but not overly filling and definitely serves as a meal substitute. On our second trip, I had the acai bowl topped with banana and coconut shavings. They use Sambazon acai so I was happy to not have the weird guarana effect that you can feel from some of the other acais. I noticed some other reviewers commenting on the prices. But, I think you get what you pay for here. They sprout their own almond milk, cold press their coffee, and use organic ingredients. I am ready to plan my next trip to So Cal and I will drive on purpose just to stop by Choice!
