I had a pleasant experience here — the food was delicious, the shop was very clean, and the restaurant had many people in it and was quiet and peaceful. I like this about Rubios in comparison to places like Chipotle (the loudness factor at Chipotle can be distracting because of the echo inducing décor and floors). This location is comfortable and enjoyable. I recommend this location.

This Rubios location is by far the best if you are doing a large catering order. Scott, Susan, and Cesar were extremely helpful.
My nephew has a gluten and dairy intolerance so they prepared his meal separately and put it in a box away from any cheese or wheat.
The best part, though, was the fact that I actually got to see what everything was as they were loading it into the bags in front of me. They showed me everything one by one and made sure I was comfortable with what was in the large to go bags. It was just amazing service to do something like that. I even asked for extra salsas and jalapeños and they prepared large portions for me quickly and at no extra charge.
Definitely will be returning and recommending this location to friends and family.

This is a nice Rubio’s in a good location. The servers here have always been quite nice to me, and it’s kept quite clean. Sometimes the fish tacos dip in quality during the dinner rush, but otherwise I don’t have much to complain about.

Great place to get a quick bite to eat. Prices are a little expensive for a fast food chain. But the food is worth it

Every Rubio’s I’ve been to is solid high 4-​stars. Fifth visit to this location. Fairly clean, modern interior décor, super friendly staff. Food is fresh and well seasoned handily beating out fancier sit-​down Mexican restaurants.

Great salads and good fish tacos… Tacos Tuesday after 230pm… Came three weeks in a row and I’ll keep coming because its consistently good (and inexpensive on Tuesday!

Came here for a fast meal, got the california bowl with grilled chicken, came with white rice, grilled chicken, beans, a little avocado. The meal was bearable with the salsa but really didnt wow me by any means, I guess I got what I expected here. The service was good, and the cashier had a good sense of humor.

the only reason I’m giving them a star is because I have to.
I placed a phone order for their 2 fish taco plate with black beans and corn chips, I was put on hold for 15 minutes.
once my order was finally taken, they let me know it would be ready in 15 minutes. I gave them about 20 minutes and then showed up for my food, I waited for the ONLY cashier for another 10 minutes.
I paid for my food and was told my food still hadn’t come out and was instructed to take a seat on the side while I wait. 10 minutes go by and people who came in after me had gotten their food.
I got up and asked politely the first employee I saw when my food would be done, he looks at the lonely bag that had been sitting there since I got there and claimed it was my bag. I was late to go back to work so I didn’t deal with it right then and there. once back at work, i took a bite from the first taco only to find absolutely NO SAUCE on either one on top of being cold and the chips were soggy.
I called back and again, politely explained my experience to the female who claimed to be the manager. she apologized and asked for all my information and promised a free meal on them next time.
when I called to redeem my free meal, apparently they don’t do that? my information was no where to be found, and to top it off, the guy who answered was rude and hung up on me.
c’mon Rubios, set up your game.

Need to open a second register — it’s lunchtime! Long line not cool.
But the fish tacos never disappoint. And the two taco plate comes with the perfect little side of beans and chips.
We love the mild red salsa and there and limes for our diet cokes!
The location is great and the parking is easy. Near Sprouts for groceries too.

Always a fan of Rubio’s! Was craving a seafood burrito after the gym and I had a buy one get one free burrito coupon.
I got:
— Atlantic Salmon Burrito (inside salmon, guac, cabbage, corn salsa)
— Original Shrimp Burrito (shrimp, beans, rice)
I ate the salmon one last night and saved the shrimp for today, and it was still good reheated. They did label my burritos wrong though.

I love to eat healthy as possible. That can be hard when eating out. I think Rubio’s offers pretty healthy resteraunt food. Great seafood entrees at fast to go prices. Today there was a store manager that floats to all the stores located in San Diego county. He

Food is great, they get it right as you ask and if they make a mistake… no questions, they make it again.

Came here today for a quick pick up/​to go lunch. Had a coupon I wanted to use before it expires. Called in and spoke with Alejandra I believe and she was very helpful! Suggested I get the blackened jalapeños on the side. They weren’t spicy at all but gosh the burrito was soooo good!
I got the shrimp and bacon burrito only because I had the coupon. Wouldn’t normally order a burrito but it sounded so good. And my gosh did it reliever! The tortilla was warm, soft and just right. The burrito was packed full of shrimp! They definitely don’t short you on that which is great. The chipotle white sauce was amazing and added some great moisture and flavor. The fresh avocado was amazing and mixed with the bacon and rice it was just perfect.
Will get again or recommend to a friend if they go to Rubio’s! Great customer service, convenient/​clean location and ready quick and right on time. Will be back! Thanks for a great lunch!

I think of Rubio’s as high class taco bell. Its super corporate and the menu doesn’t very from location to location.
This isn’t a complaint its just meant to prepare you for what the food is like. I ordered the chopped salad with chicken. The salad was relatively low cal about 450 kcal and was very filling. It was a fair price at $ 7.49. The dressing comes tossed so I ordered it on the side and covered it in the salsa from the salsa bar. Added a few carrots and jalapenos and I was a happy camper. Based on the texture and flavor I think most of the protein sources are frozen and while they may be prepared to order I don’t think they are cooked to order. I can’t hate. I make frozen chicken at home and feed it to my family.

I really like you, Rubio’s Fresh Mexican Grill… Rawrr! You and your sustainable seafood — grilled or fried, my choice. Yum! The grilled veggie salad is also really tasty, but lately shrimp and fish tacos have been calling me.
Can’t beat $ 1.50 Fish Taco Tuesdays, and the staff is always awesome and keeps the dairy out of my food. Thanks for the special order, guys! :)

I’ve been coming to Rubio’s for years to enjoy their Original Fish Tacos. The quality is good, service is always friendly, and the price is just right. Only complaint about this particular location is the size.
