A group of us came here for lunch then I came here with a party of two a couple nights later for dinner. Both times, the staff were great and friendly and our server was super awesome with great recommendations. We received our food in great time and it was served fresh and delicious, so good!!! The drinks are just as great! Definitely love both locations, yet this one is close by and now a favorite from the whole group

It was the worst carne asada burrito I’ve ever tasted. They put bad meat in it and tried to cover it up by putting tons of beans. Yuck. I ordered a combo so it came with chips. I love tortilla chips but something was wrong with that one too. They tasted VERY old. Also, their sauces lack flavor. Waste of money!

My boyfriend works in the mall and kept telling me how good the al pastor tacos were from here! I finally tried them last weekend and I must say. they were pretty good! They have a little salsa bar area where you can add onions, cilantro or salsas to your tacos!

I was excited to see a new restaurant opening up in the Carlsbad Mall. So far, I’ve tried the Pastor Torta, and the Cubana Torta. Both were excellent. The only downside to coming her is the long long long wait. I’ve seen bigger stoves in food trucks. There is absolutely no multitasking here; so if you have 2 – 3 orders in front of you; be prepared to wait at least 20 – 25 minutes. From what I can see, they don’t have a fryer; so California burritos’ french fries are cooked on top the stove — weird. Overall, A nice spot; and I will continue to come back; just hope they can improve their methods of preparing food. If service was a bit faster this place would be an instant 5 stars.
