Capitola mall donates space to ASPCA animal adoption rescue so you can meet and adopt a new puppy right here. Vegans and vegetarians can put the Om nom nom nom nomb Chomskys on Falafel from the gyros place near target side of the mall. This mall needs a vegetarian restaurant like Living Hut though

Great tasting gyros. Don’t let the mall location fool you. All the ingredients were fresh, the meat was tender, the pita was toasted to perfection and the sauces were excellent. Definitely recommend if you need a quick bite while in the mall as well as a great stop to pick up food on the way home.

Food was good, service was a bit confusing.
We ordered our food they gave us a receipt. We sat down, ten minutes later my wife asked when our food was coming and apparently we were supposed to tell them what we wanted in our gyros, really? Why not say something before we waited?
My wife told them how we wanted our food and they goofed it up. We ate it anyway but when we brought it up no offer was made to correct the issue (before we ate the food).
Lots of potential here but employees cost them one star.

Since this isn’t the best falafel place in Santa Cruz I won’t give it a 5th star but this is a great falafel place for food court food. The owners are friendly and service is personalized. We got a falafel wrap and a falafel plate. Both are very good. The plate doesn’t come with a pita but is only $.54 to add one. It is great to have a vegetarian option at the mall. Def will be back.

I’ve never had Mediterranean food at all, and neither has alot of people but I went for it and this place was perfect. I had the number 1 it was a beef gyro. It put subway to shame. It was good and healthy. And gooood.
I’m not from the area so I’m going to make it a tradition every time I visit sc area

The falafel wrap was great. Moist and full of flavor. They put tahini sauce on it for me sense I can’t have the yogurt sauce because of a dairy sensitivity. They were very friendly and helpful. I am very happy to have a choice I can enjoy in the Capitola Food Court.

I would highly recommend it to anyone going to the Capitola area. The owners are very kind and respectful. I was truly amazed by their very neat job.

Outstanding. We recently moved back up to the SC area. We were anxiously waiting for this place to open since we love Mediterranean food. It was worth the wait. Kabobs are made to order, juicy and tasty. Yummy. rice was cooked well. The garlic sauce was out of this world, like I could just drink it for my meal. Ingredients are fresh and everything is made on site, except for the lavash. The owners are super friendly and welcoming the other staff member was knowledgeable and friendly. I know this place will start booming with business just because your getting that authentic Mediterranean taste.

Ok, you guys. It’s finall here! In Santa Cruz! Tasty and affordable Persian (and some Greek) food! The koobideh and ckicken kabob were both fantastic. I have been to expensive restaurants and know this is not that, dont expect those portions with these prices. Menu pics to come but I’ll tell you the chicken kabob plate was 6.99 and I’m putting my phone down to dig in. Can’t wait to see what these guys could do with a bigger space. Excellent service!

Don’t be fooled by lumping this place together with other «mall food» restaurants, this place serves absolutely delicious gyros and Mediterranean plates, probably my favorite in Santa Cruz because you have input on ingredients as the food is being prepared. The portions are large, the cost is modest, and the service is really good. I had them put french fries, jalapenos and coleslaw on my chicken gyro and it was RIDICULOUSLY delicious. I’m craving this place all the time now!
