Cinelux Theatre

Beautiful! Nicely renovated theatre with many screens — can’t wait for the lounge
area to kick in… it’s perfect that we can walk to the movies!

This theatre recently was remodeled and although you can still tell it’s an older building, it has definitely improved over time. The woman working the ticket booth was friendly towards me and my friend. They also accept debit card which is nice (couple theatres I’ve been to around here only take cash).
The seating was actually the best part of this theatre. They are a LOT more spacious than your average movie theatre. You can extend your elbows quite comfortably without worry of bumping into the person on your side. They also recline at a strange angle which at first I thought was weird, but it actually helped with neck strain. The screen is okay, not the best. It has some vignette like effect on the edges that is a bit annoying.
The sound quality is fantastic though. They use some sort of surround sound and a couple times during the movie I looked over my shoulder because I thought someone in the crowd was talking, but it was actually just the movie lol. This theatre could still use some work, but it’s passable for a small theatre.

Worst and most disgusting movie theater we have been too. Went to see Minions and blah it smelled so bad in the theater. We managed to sit through the whole movie with our 5 kids but will not go back till its completely remodeled. They are in the process of remodeling the whole place and only have 1 movie playing right now. We got here early and got great seats as the movie did sell out. The bathrooms are in a Porta potty trailer right now. Avoid this place till its done with the remodel.

This is a very old theater. The seats were uncomfortable. I went to a 2:15 PM showing. There wasn’t very many in the theater and I’m glad. If someone sat in front of me, I probably couldn’t see the screen.
The staff was good. The popcorn was good. This place is just dated. It needs a total overhaul.
