Just sat for 15 minutes waiting to be served. Table sits down next to us and gets service immediately. Obviously we left.

Zoes is an eatery we come to every time we are in cape may. It’s a great place for lunch and to take out lunch for the beach. Friendly service and okay pricing. Not super cheap but not super expensive. Their tuna sandwich and turkey Reuben’s and fish sandwiches are good. Their fries-yummy as well. Fried clam strips are a must too. They don’t give enough, but are tasty.

Came here for our first lunch in Cape May, on our first day — Had we done more research we probably would have went elsewhere but it was across from the beach, and we were starving so we figured… how bad could it be? My girlfriend and I ordered the same thing — Ham & Cheese hero. Lunch meat was clearly pre-packaged Oscar Meyer or of that same quality… 1 slice of cheese, shredded lettuce, soggy tomato and sweet peppers. Best part of the sandwich was the sweet peppers — lunch came with a bag of chips(2nd best part of the meal). I got a lemonade, and my girlfriend got a sweet tea(which was way to sweet for a hummingbird’s liking). Besides the sweet peppers, chips and friendly dog sitting next to us Zoe’s lacked in all areas. Service was so-so. Did not return at any point in our stay, and will not go back next summer.

I had a good breakfast and muffin here. It is what it is. Nothing fancy. Attentive service.

Good coffee. 30 minutes waiting for our breakfast, drank a lot of good coffee. No working toilets. Told we can use the public ones across the street. Still no breakfast. Decided to go back to our hotel instead. Will not be returning.

Stopped to pick up breakfast. 3 sausage egg and cheese bagels– nothing fancy — a coffee and 2 Apple juices– $ 30.00. Overpriced and not worth it. Save your money and find someplace else to go.

Our visit to Zoe’s was a tragedy. Food was gross. 1 out of our 5 meals was actually worth eating. 1. They said the tacos were«mahi», but it wasn’t true. I catch and filet Mahi and it wasn’t mahi. I’m not sure what the meat was. 2. The kids fish meal was horrific and powdery. 3. The kids burger was dry. The shrimp tacos were awesome. The service was deplorable. We had to ask several times for the same things-napkins, water, etc. Cannot recommend to anyone for any reason.

My girlfriend and I happened upon this place when we came to Cape May. It was late and we were hungry. We sat outside to eat and though our waitress was not very attentive, we had a good meal. My GF had the veggie burger(not a fish lover) and thought it was great(didn’t complain, a first!!!). I had the salmon which was excellent. Vegetables were very flavorful. Basically no frills place, very good food, but sub-par service.

Great location for a sandwich but poor quality food. Grilled chicken sandwich was under cooked the first time but they did remake us another.

Great fresh food and we brought the doggies with us! Immediately greeted us with water for the pups. The food is really good. Fresh turkey not cold cuts on my turkey blt. Because they roast it themselves! My husband had an ooey gooey cheese sandwich. Walked away very happy. You do go inside and order and then they bring it out to you. Very enjoyable. We will be back. Cash only.

We were there for breakfast. I had the best muffin ever! The French toast and omelette of the day were also very good. It’s not a date breakfast place, more of a before-the-beach spot, but the service and food were excellent for the price.

Guys, Zoe’s is A-OK! Given how close they are to my favorite local hotel, I have had a few chance encounters with this establishment in desperation for ice cream or a quick sammich. The biggest detractor that I can recall is they are cash only. As I’ve stated with Uncle Bills; get with the times. It’s 2014. Every time you direct someone to an ATM, you put yourself at high risk for losing that client and anyone they talk to. Otherwise; its acceptable. It happens to be a popular spot for the local Cape May youth which is unfortunate. They are generally rude children, and I try to avoid spots where rude children gather. They are, however, pet friendly! It’s nice to see pooches out and enjoying the sun. So far, every dog encounter I’ve had there has been pleasant. I will note that the ice cream they have is pretty good. It it weren’t for the fact that I can get better ice cream two blocks down, I’d probably be getting it from them exclusively.

We stopped here for a quick sandwich to take to the beach. I ordered the turkey club and I was less than impressed. The turkey was really dry and the whole sandwich just lacked flavor. In my opinion, it was overpriced for what I got. I’ll skip this place the next time I’m in town and just go to Primo’s.

Had a roast beef sandwich and a cup of chowder. Sandwich was OK but soup was not good at all. Too many other good places to go,

First off, this is a cash only joint! Second, you can grab a menu and sit down, but you have to order at the counter and then a server will bring it out to your table. Zoe’s is just down Beach Ave. and the patio offers great people watching and is dog friendly. They’ll even bring a cute sandbox toy filled with water out for them. We ate here once for lunch and once for breakfast, neither was disappointing. Just an apology to the waitress, I gave her a very confused look and a «whaaa?» attitude when my strawberry pancakes came out with just three slices of strawberry. I was very upset… for a second. It turns out the strawberries were baked in side the pancakes! That made them all the better!

For decades we’ve been coming to stay in Cape May at least once or twice a summer and one thing is certain, the first place we stop is Zoe’s for breakfast. I can be summed up with two dishes, I either get a cheddar cheese omelet or the breakfast burrito. Both are served with home fries, the omelet with toast, the burrito with salsa. My wife has tried a variety of dishes, the omelet with egg whites, the fruit cup, a homemade muffin and the food is consistently good and fresh, made to your order. I must admit that on occasion I have had to send my burrito back since it wasn’t as hot as I wanted it. Oh, and the fresh squeezed orange juice is very tasty! Zoe’s is cash only, you order inside, you’re given a number and one of their servers brings the food to you(there is both inside and outside seating). Two things I noticed from other reviews, some people complain that Zoe’s mentions please tip your server. Both Lindsay and her sister(sorry, I don’t remember her name) are both very attentive, always walking around with coffee pots for free, hot refills, they and the other servers deserve a tip, The other thing other reviews mention is that Zoe’s is right across from the beach and ocean. True… you can’t really see them especially since Cape May built that large convention center but it is true, good for convenience but not quite like eating on the sand,

Fresh food, good prices, friendly service. We ate here 6 times over several days on our recent visit to Cape May. Zoes is very conveniently located across the street from the Convention Center. We had several breakfasts and lunches and tried many of their menu items including eggs, pancakes and many sandwiches and kids meals. Everything we ate was very fresh and tasty and good portions. The prices are extremely reasonable for Cape May. The counter staff/servers are all very friendly. We felt very well taken care of here. They have fresh muffins in the mornings, some premade salads(mine was very good) and even ice cream cones. Highly recommend!

Not bad. You order in line here, and then grab a table. I ordered a samdwich, which was really fresh. A friend had A cheesesteak and it was well done. If you’re going to eat unhealthy here, I’d recommend you order the cheesesteak.

We came here for breakfast on our last day @ Cape May. Decided to eat outside(of course). Early in the AM there was pretty much no wait; however, you had to go inside and order from the counter then grab your number and go outside and they would bring you your food. The number that you carry outside with you has this sign on it that encourages you to tip your wait staff. I guess people feel that you arent really getting a full sit down meal, thus the wait staff were not getting tipped? The restaurant is cash only(like a lot of the places around here. weirdly enough), though i believe there is an ATM in the corner if you need cash. Going up to the counter to order/pay I got to see the huge muffins(they were in a 6 muffin tin, and were spilling out of the tin), and suddenly my idea of pecan pancakes went out the window– since i was also debating the blueberry pancakes, and seeing these huge blueberry muffins just encouraged the switch to blueberry pancakes. The pancakes were studded with a plethora of plump blueberries(no no wild Maine blueberries here). It has been a while since I ate there, but if I remember correctly, the blueberries were sweet enough that I did not add syrup. The ambiance, the food. who could have asked for a better morning?

Sometimes one needs a sandwich in a town full of fine dining. Zoe’s fills the bill. Zoe’s took over a longtime diner that never stood out as anything special. Zoe’s offers spruced up sandwiches, wraps, salads, etc. in this small Beach Drive diner in the thick of everything. The very first time I brought my wife to Cape May we dined here. It holds a special place in her heart. Looking for a good sandwich in the middle of the day without being gouged? Zoe’s is the place.
