My absolute favorite place to eat. I’ve been eating at Uncle Bill’s since I was little. This specific location is my favorite. When my friends are in town, it’s the go-​to spot. The staff is always friendly and their food is consistently delicious.

On my visit back to my hometown of Cape May, I had to visit Uncle Bills! It’s a tradition! I was surprised at how things have changed here, the place was bustling with so much activity! The food though had not changed a bit and is still the traditional spot for breakfast on any visit to south Jersey!

The speediest pancake breakfast to date! The scene is clean and no frills, with an amazingly attentive team. Our server Ana was great — knowledgeable, checked in a couple of times and got us in, fed, and out in record time.
I’d pick Uncle Bill’s over Ihop any day if ever in need of getting a pancake fix.

Waitresses are perky and extremely nice all the time. Food is cheap and consistently good. Plates are sooo hot when placed on the table– my cousin once burned his hand badly when he was given a hot plate by the waitress. THE best breakfast place in Cape May!

One of the best breakfast spots we’ve been to. My wife had the gluten free pancakes which are always hit or miss. They were defiantly a hit at Uncle Bills. I had the plain buttermilk pancakes, out of this world. They were tender, sweet and very large. Would recommend any breakfast fan to visit Uncle Bills.

This place is A-​OK. I’ve never really understood the Uncle Bill’s fuss, but if you’re into eating delicious, fattening breakfast foods at the beach in what always seems like a rush then this place is for you.
I work in the industry so I know how easy it is to simply greet incoming patrons with any type of pleasant acknowledgement. The man sitting at the register when we walked in wasn’t pleasant at all and barked an order at a young hostess where to seat us. Kind of odd. The whole place had the feeling like the entire staff is just constantly getting yelled at for something.
Our server, Tiffany, was very friendly and efficient.

Stopped in on the way to the Cape May Ferry on the day after New Years. Service was great– fast and friendly. Coffee refills offered. We had the plain buttermilk pancakes and they were excellent. Price was in line with a resort area. Definitely worth a try when in the area.

Great place for breakfast! We’ve come back here every time we’re in Cape May. Service is friendly and quick. Food is fast and delicious. Easy to park and haven’t had to wait too long to be seated.

Best breakfast in the area! Pretty much every time I go somewhere else, I end up wishing I’d gone to Uncle Bill’s. They have so many choices, you have to keep going back to try them all. Service is super-​fast and friendly as can be. My kids always enjoy it there, and the place is large enough that our noise level (my kids are loud as blazes even when they’re happy) is not disruptive to other diners. Their lunches are tasty, too!

Good breakfast. My son had the regular buttermilk pancakes, mine were pecan pancakes with bananas. You couldn’t see the pancakes for the number of sliced bananas on them. Thought it was a little pricey for pancakes, but then again we are at the beach, everything us pricey. Especially breakfast.

Have a good breakfast, and it can make any day a good day. Stop in Uncle Bill’s and you’ll experience some of of the best tasting and perfectly cooked pancakes. The plain buttermilk pancakes are huge, but light and fluffy. A side of eggs, sausage links, and a cup of coffee rounded off my meal. The pancakes menu have more pancakes than I can remember. While I wanted to go with the banana but or Iowa corn cakes, the plain never disappoints. A very friendly waitress (Ashley) was more than attentive and helpful. The cashier was just as friendly. This is a business that is a must stop for breakfast. One of the better places in North Cape May.

Asked for hollandaise sauce (which looked like a bowl of vanilla pudding) on the side– after we finished eating the waitress asked if we wanted the sauce «to go», and was annoyed it was wasted. Waitress was clearly ready to retire and did not seem to enjoy any part of interacting with people. Considering she may have had a bad day, we made another trip while on vacation– and had the same waitress. Service was with the same attitude. Table was almost ignored for coffee refills, and when the waitress finally did come back with coffee we were scolded for putting the ice-​cream scoop size of butter off our plate and on to an empty creamer bowl. (who eats such large qty’s of butter anyway??) There’s almost no choice in North Cape May for breakfast, so this place is saved for it’s location– but it’s probably worth the extra 5 minute drive to better options over in Cape May.

I love Uncle Bill’s. By far the best pancakes in the county. The only draw back, is in the summer this place is mobbed. but I attest that to the tourists favorite place to eat as well as the locals. Place is clean, prices are fair, staff is friendly. However when it’s crowded it’s a little loud from all the people talking at once.

I don’t understand why this place is always packed!!! The food is terrible the service suxs and the prices are outrageous! I have been to another diner in the area and was very satified with everything, the portions are huge, the service is great and everything is about 2 dollars cheaper then this place. On average if you receive a standard egg breakfast of eggs, home fries and toast with coffee you be spending 8.50!!! Homefries don’t even come with breakfast!!! The only reason I can think this place does so well is because it has established a name

Love Uncle Bills! The view for the N. Cape May location isn’t as good as the Cape May location, but the prices are much better. We go almost every time we’re in Cape May.
