Went back two days in a row leaving the first day because the line was so long(a rainy day) and the big kitchen was only getting out one order every 15 minutes! Went back second day as we were staying in Cape May Point right up the road. The cheeseburger was god awful. Inedible, dry, didn’t even taste like beef. And although the sauerkraut on the hot dog was delish the hot dog was also dry and tasteless. Maybe freezer burn? Don’t know. How can a place like this screw up something so simple? Have heard the fish and chips are good though so may go back and try that.

I have been here twice now. First time got a cheese steak to go and ate it while watching fire works on the beach with a bottle of wine! Fantastic! I hummed the entire time i ate it! Went back after a long walk from the beach and decided to have a lttle snack. Had a blt. Hard to mess that up. it was good. i would eat a cheese steak here anyday!

Loved the fish and chips. This is a take out window style place with seating on a deck that overlooks Sunset beach. The food is your tipical burgers and hot dogs along with Fried clams, fish and chips and other seafood stuff. Beverages are soda, water and ice tea in bottles(no tap water). They also have a special«sunset sauce» which is kind of like mayo & buffalo hot sauce. It goes great with fries and onion rings. We got the fish and chips along with onion rings. I was impressed. The fried fish was shaped like big chicken fingers(NOT processed). It was crispy with the fish cooked just right. I wold say it was equally as tasty as the takeout you can get from the Lobster house across town(another favorite of mine). Slightly smaller portion but at a lower price so it works out about the same value. The location is a neat tourist stop, complete with a beach, sunken ship, WWII lookout tower, a few interesting shops and mini golf. The kids like collecting rocks and shells from the beach. Parking can get a little crowded at times. The sunset view is nice(hint: there is also a beach park on the other side of the point with is less crowded too). Conclusion… a fun spot for the kids and good fish & chips… well be back for sure.
