Quaker Steak & Lube

I frequently go to Quaker Steak to eat. I would give them 5 stars. But the are very inconsistent. Many times I will sit there waiting for my order. Other times it will be in front of me the second I order. Most of the time when I order wings they will be drenched in sauce. Or not have any sauce at all. As much as I love the place. They are not consistent what so ever. If you aren’t sitting by the entrance. Your not getting quality wings, and your not getting your food for a good 30 min or more. So if your going hope you sit by the entrance/​bar.

Was there for endless wings. Turns out they are endless. Tried most of the flavors and some were better than others (opinion). Would recommend overall. We were told the wait would be about 2 hours but were seated in about a half hour. ¹¹⁄₁₀

Good wings with a bunch of different sauces to choose from. The wings are huge too, unlike those tiny, cornish hen wings at many other places (BWW!).

I’ve been here a few times and I’ve never been impressed. I just went over the weekend and won’t go back. I had a burger and it might be the worst burger I’ve ever had. The texture was strange the taste was strange and it was no warmer than room temperature. I couldn’t even eat half of it.

What you expect from this local chain. A good choice but avoid bike night if you don’t ride.

Ordered a virgin non alcoholic margarita and got charged full price of an alcoholic beverage. $ 7 and no alcohol. According to the waitress there was no way to make it less. Really? I don’t know a single establishment that charges full price for a non alcoholic version. Then Leah, our waitress, disappears for what seemed like 15 – 20 min with our credit cards and cash. We had to go inside twice looking for her with the hostess promising she would be right out. Not really… Also had a panhandler with two young girls in tow come begging at our patio table claiming to have run out of gas and having a 4 day old baby in the car. We were told by some other patrons he is a regular at Quaker and the Strip. Not a good night at Quaker. Not sure I’ll be going back. :-(
I was so irritated by the experience that I tried to call the restaurant to speak to a manager after getting home. I didn’t want to embarrass my friends by making a scene. The bad experience continued. I got put on hold for a while, then taken off hold with the phone resting somewhere where you could hear the background noise, then totally disconnected after nearly 5 minutes. I give up. I wrote a note to corporate with a copy of my initial Unilocal review. Way to disappoint Quaker!
UPDATE — On the Quaker Steak corporate website it says would you like someone to follow up with you. I checked the yes box. Yep, you guessed it, nobody followed up. Customer service is not a priority for Quaker Steak. Too bad, I like their wings.

First came here, I feel good, elegant environment, and great steaks. The restaurant location is inconvenient to find, but next time will come again.

Tuesday is all you can eat wing night. The wings were good and I really like their BBQ sauce. The deal included a «Buffett» that had chips, salsa, cheese, fries and one or two other finger foods I didn’t recognize (but I’m weird with food)

Meh. It was OK. Basically, bar food with sauce options. Service was extremely fast and good, she was very attentive. Great beer prices and selection. It’s OK, but only when driving by and not a destination to.

First time dining here and I was somewhat unimpressed. Our waitress barely spoke; I don’t even know what her name was. A different waitress brought our food to us and the grilled chicken I got was tough and hard to cut with a steak knife. Our waitress didn’t check on us for at least ten minutes so I was stuck with the food that I didn’t like for that time. Luckily, the manager asked how we were doing and had new food for me in minutes. She was very kind and seemed to be on her toes to please people. The waitress then checked on us and brought us our check, which wasn’t split. I imagined she would have asked two young girls if they were paying together or separate. She passed our table a few times and finally we called her over. The service was the only main problem. The food was average and the manager fixed any issues we had.

Our first time eating at this chain. We loved it! Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. Waitress was very helpful giving suggestions. Tall beers were a plus. The décor was very cool. Wings were yummy and our sandwiches were fabulous! No leftovers! This franchise needs to come to Connecticut!

The food the staff and the management here are top notch! My new favorite wing place.

Absolutely the best wings and sauce we have ever had. The triple atomic was beyond hot. Chandra and the whole staff was super friendly!!!

This is our spot! We always have an awesome time especially on karaōke Friday! Bartenders/​servers/​managers and DJ are the best! Such a great time with good food and great friends!!!

Everything was sticky. But the bartender was awesome and friendly and ran over to wipe everything down.
Wings were great but pricey — over a dollar a wing. Not awesome draft selection, but ok. Had Cider on draft as well. Enjoyed the place overall. Fun atmosphere, great to hang out with friends.

Great place for sports. Plenty of TV’s, great wings, and great sauce. Prices are comparable to sports bars, service a little on the slow side but food is worth a little wait…

Cool themed sports bar very close to the airport. Looks like a gas station/​jiffy lube but inside was a typical sports bar with a bunch of mounted TVs and a large oval bar surrounded by tables. Hostess was able to seat our large party right away and the service was above average, attentive but not very warm. The food was good sports bar fare with a nice selection of different sauces ranging from insane heat (over 500k scoville) to the mildest of mild. The wings were decent, not quite as crispy as I like but quite flavorful. The only downside to this spot was the bartender who didn’t know how to make some common shots. I would still return anytime I end up in Canton.

So, so sad that I do not have one of these closer to me. When we got there they told us it would be 15 mins, but it actually ended up being less than ten (first score!). Then found out that it was all you can eat wing night. This was super cheap (like $ 12) and it included a «nacho bar» (in quotes because there were also fries, spaghetti, pizza, and these funnel cake like sticks on it). But that’s not the best part. The best part was that you could change your sauce every time you got more wings (they brought you six to start, then four at a time after that)!!! My brother and I got 7 different sauces between us, and there was only one that I didn’t like. The price (and taste) of my mixed drink also made me very happy (it was like their hard lemonade). This dinner made my day (except for the fact that I cant do it every week).

One of the worst restaurant experiences I have had was at Quaker Steak today. We were not greeted for over 20 minutes, our drinks then took 13 minutes, our food came before our drinks, and all the food was cold. After telling our server the issues with the food, she did not apologize or fix the situation. This experience has definitely ruined Quaker Steak for me, and I do not plan on coming back.
