We chose a medium thin crust pizza to split. It was excellent. We would order it again. Sunday eve, 7:00 pm. Not too crowded, but busy enough.

The botanical clevelander is delicious. Fresh tasting. Small is enough for one person and you’ll still have leftovers

Went here this summer, can’t remember when I know it was in July though, and I am writing a review now because I am going here for a dinner party tonight and hope that i don’t have the same experience I had last time. We went here, myself, my boyfriend and our 2 small children. First off we waited what seemed like forever for someone to come take our drink order. With small children that can be a problem because they get antsy. After the waiter brought our drinks we ordered an appetizer, the Bada Bing Buffalo chips. It literally looked like someone took a hand full of chips(a tiny hand full) and threw it on the plate with all the other ingredients spread out over the top. The chips were stale, and the cheese was dried so hard onto the chip you couldn’t even break them apart. It was pretty bad. I ended up getting a pasta dish, and you can’t really go wrong with pasta. It was pasta and shrimp, I got a heaping amount of pasta, and 5 shrimp… the ratio was not equivalent. Again, this was our first time, I am going again tonight and hope I can come back and give it a better review.

The pizza didnt have much actual«pizza». What I mean is that most of the pizza is crust. Only like 1 unch if it has actual cheese and sauce. It gets loud on Monday nights for dinner. It is pricey. Fancy and it is $ 6 for 1 sliceof cheesecake which is a ripoff. The waiters and servers are friendly. I dont suggest getting pizza.

Had Danny’s to-go for lunch and it was pretty good — everyone raved about the food from Subs to Salads to Chicken Wings. No pizza for us, but what we had was decent, delivered hot, and devoured by us all.

Had a few good experiences here and a few bad. The clevelander is my goto pizza here. Breadstix are good as well. This place is ok but be prepared to wait forever…

We did carry out with a coupon for two deep dish pizzas with two toppings — one pepperoni and one with veggies. We lived in Chicago for a number of years and ate deep dish pizza all the time. While this does not compare to Chicago style deep dish, it is good. The outer crust is thick and doughy with a little crunch, but the bottom is fairly thin for an authentic deep dish pan. The best part of our order — the bleu buffalo potato chips… Half of them were gone before they got home. SAYYUM!

3.5 Stars. This is a difficult review. The portions are so big its just down right ridiculous. The pizza is good, don’t get me wrong. Its a bit doughy for me… and the sauce doesn’t have as much flavor as I normally like, but they do really good work here nonetheless. I’ve tried a few things on the menu, the BLT fold over was pretty solid… and really large. The chip appetizer was good as well… once again, huge. The breadsticks might be the most impressive thing they do. I normally don’t eat much breadsticks, but these are nice and soft and tasty. Its pretty good, cheap italian fare and I know what to expect when I eat here. And I KNOW i will leave very full.

My husband and I really enjoyed this place and will definitely be going back soon to try all sorts of different things on the menu. We got the deep dish pizza and it was so good! The best part was that the next day the crust was still so soft and fluffy. Delicious. We’ve heard that the Mac n cheese pizza is maxing from friends and must try that next time… The wine list was good too and they have a full bar. Love the separation from the bar side and the dining side. It can be a great place to hang or a romantic place for a date night. The only compliant I have is the desserts. No good! They are definitely not home made or even fresh. I was pretty disappointed with it being such a well known Italian restaurant and all.

This is a cute, family friendly restaurant. You definitely won’t go hungry here! The portions are huge and everything is made to order. I look forward to going back because the menu is so big and I want to try it all. We had the Cleveland pie… it wasn’t as cheesy as I’d hoped, but everyone else at the table ordered right so I had plenty to sample:)!

We stopped here on a business trip looking for a place that was open a little later and had something to offer for me(kind of a foodie) and my fiancé(meat and potatoes guy). This seemed like a compromise. The best word I can use to describe Danny Boys is decent. The food is not bad, but certainly not great. It’s pretty standard fast food Italian. Lots of cheese and heavy pasta dishes. It’s pretty much a sports bar with Fazoli’s food. I would recommend it more for a social drinking and snacking spot than for a nice dinner.

Keep in mind, this was our first time here! I don’t like to make a final judgement on a restaurant before 2 visits, but I can’t imagine going back, so… Food: Tasteless, heavy, expensive for the poor quality you were getting, and even the«homemade bread» our server brought to the table sucked. I substituted pesto sauce to put on my cheese ravioli, which tasted like 95% canola oil and I couldn’t even discern the flavor of basil in there. The atmosphere was totally fine, it’s worst offense being cheesy with the whole cheap Rat Pack motif, but really, who cares. My boyfriend and I were in a booth and completely comfortable. They have playing cards at the table, so we played a game while we waited for our food. Nothing to complain about the service, I feel like she could have been a little more attentive with refills since I paid $ 2.50 for a fountain drink, but it was Monday night and worse crimes have been committed. Boyfriend and I both got belly aches after dinner, and while we’re always okay to drop some bank on dinner, we weren’t happy with what we paid for. I over-tipped regardless(cuz it certainly wasn’t her fault for yucky food obviously), but like I said, won’t be going back. Not my cup of tea.

We sat out on the patio, which was relaxing on a summer evening. Close the road, and I don’t remember being feasted on by mosquitos. We started with garlic bread. I pro was that it was made very fresh, the con was that it tasted more like baked dough that you could dip in marinara. None-the-less, it was unique, and tasted fine. Then we ordered the Chicago style pizza. It only comes in small and medium. Portion size was solid. We split it amongst 3 adults and had 2 pieces left to take over. Everything was nice about the pizza minus one thing that we all agreed on. The way they do sausage is a bit odd, and some of you out there may actually love this. The sausage under the sauce is a full layer across the pizza. Like you know those sausage patties from breakfast restaurants? Take one of those and make it the size of the pizza and lay it on the pizza. It’s not that it tasted bad, it just seemed excessive for the pizza. I’d come here again, but with people visiting from out of town, I wouldn’t find myself saying this is a place we for sure cannot miss.

I entered the words«deep dish» for my search for decent pizza over that german pizza insists on getting when we’re in town. What I got was more than decent, it was awesome. Super nice staff, cute atmosphere and 2 salads, a small deep dish pep and cheese, 1 drink and 1 water for under $ 20! Unheard of! They played Rat Pack faves interspersed with reggae, Italian guitar and contemporary music which made for an interesting mix to chat by. The salad, while a little lacking on portion size, was good with their peppercorn dressing. The reason they couldn’t fit much salad on the plate was because there were these 2 huge, pillowy soft, garlic butter, parmesan cheesy breads taking up most of the room. I swore I wouldn’t eat them both and I almost succombed… leaving an inch of the butt of one for principle’s sake. Those babies are like crack! The pizza was really good, the sauce was sweet and while it wasn’t necessarily«true» deep dish by Chicagoan standards, it was still good and we’d definitely go back! I’m so glad I finally found a good pizza place in the Massillon/Canton area!
