Took my kids here and when at register, manager looked at us and ignored us. Finally young kid checked us in. Very expensive and did not give military discount. Manager seemed like a jerk who does not care about his customers. Play structure so filthy and dark. Hard to see kids when they are playing. My kids love here but I would take them back to Castaway Cove in Howell. That place is five stars– clean, open and very friendly staff, plus they offer a military discount

To begin, I don’t have children, which is our choice. If I ever think about having them, I’ll come here. The atmosphere is very loud. Screaming, crying, yelling, children pushing each other around(one kid gave my friend’s son a bloody nose). The employees really aren’t involved with the kids, they mainly stay up front and fetch coffee orders for worn out parents. The food is very expensive, I’d recommend waiting and just going to McDonald’s. No outside food is permitted. May as well, as they really only have overpriced snacks. If you have kids and need a break, it could be okay. It’s expensive for what it is. If you’re childless, go her before you conceive to know what you’re getting into.

Will not return, not sure who the Manager or Management Company is but I’m surprised the city of Canton allows this place to stay in business and just do to health code violations. Every inch of the place is absolutely filthy. Nothing has been whipped down that isn’t a table top in probably years. The bathrooms are basically falling apart and probably harvesting tons of infections and illnesses. Garbage cans are covered in every liquid possible, base boards are disgusting, coffee we paid $ 10 for tasted like it had sat for days and whip cream taster sour. Horrible experience all the way around. It makes me think if I can see all that then what is the actually play areas condition? Scary thought! Also they have a strict socks policy yet, I have witnessed more then four children running around with no socks and not one worker has stopped them to have them put their socks back on.

I am usually here with our school, so I always find it full and busy. This place is nice for kids under 7, seating isn’t bad either. The cashiers are sneaky, if you don’t mention the school, they will charge you, and if they have charged you, and you mention the school afterwards, no money back. I think it’s better than mcDonalds for sure, but a tad bit overpriced.

This place is disgusting. The staff could care less about working there. They have a designated area for«Toddlers» and no one enforces it. So if you have a little child playing in there, be prepared for bigger kids to come romping through and knocking them over. The cleanliness of the place is horrible. If you have a place for kids to visit, it is going to get dirty, quick! CLEANIT! The people that bring their kids here are what you would expect… On their phones or chatting it up with their friends and not paying attention to their snot nosed kids pushing other kids around. Can’t wait for the place to go under and have someone who actually cares buy it and make something better for kids.

I took my daughter here once and we’ll never be back. She fell ill with a terrible stomach virus for a week after playing here. I’m not the type of mom who wants my child in a plastic bubble but this place is down right disgusting and you can tell they don’t properly clean anything. It sucks that I won’t bring her back because she had a lot of fun, but I advise everyone to take your kids elsewhere to play. I know others who’ve had their kids getting really sick after coming here as well.

This place stinks like bacillus cereus, fecal coliforms, Enterobacter, multiple strains of Staphylococcus, Acinetobacter lwoffii, and Acinetobacter baumannii, among others. You can hardly breath in there.

Our 3 year old and 10 month old love Jungle Java. This is our first visit to the Canton store, and I definitely prefer this facility to the Farmington location. The climbing facility offers more to the kids — more to climb and crawl through — although it’s harder on my knees. The toddler/infant area also has more for the younger child to crawl through. It’s reasonably clean for the winter weather and number of preschoolers. Definitely an upgrade from the mall playground. Food definitely on the pricier side for what you get — $ 1.22 for a Gogurt for example — but overall a bargain for us for several hours of entertainment and exercise. Only suggestion for improvement would be signs warning parents not to slide down the slides with their children — this is a safety hazard as it is one of the most common ways toddlers break their legs!

My girlfriend and I have brought her kids here for about three years now and it’s been slowly getting worse. A few months ago I told them there was a hole in the netting which led in to the inner part of the gym, they’ve fixed it, with zip ties which have sharp ends where they were cut off but it’s fixed. In the same area there’s a loose floor tile that I told them about but it’s still loose and a kids finger could easily get underneath. The boys room smells like pee and is generally dirtier than most fast food restaurants and the rusted stall wall just bothers me. I’ve posted pictures of all the dirt that’s accumulated and it’s just very disappointing the place has been uncared of. A good deep cleaning and bit of maintenance would really do well and probably keep us coming back but for now I think we’ll have to find someplace new to burn off some energy until the summer.

Attended a birthday party here today with my 9 year old. He had a great time. We thought that overall it was a good place for kids to burn of some energy. But ideally parents would better supervise and staff would be in and around the play structure supervising as well. Essentially kids disappear into the massive play structure and then you hope they come back out in one piece. It was packed today and there was always at least one kid crying somewhere. So be warned that injuries would be very possible. It’s also potentially quite germy… Kids with runny noses and coughs everywhere and we saw one child cough until he threw up on the table. So make your kids wash hands and sanitize often! Wipe the table down, too. Food was just ok but there are quite a few choices. Regarding party set up, they have seats for the kids but not the adults. We had to wait for some tables in the general seating area to open up and push them together. Worked out ok but it would have been nice to be near the kids. We also had a random guy walk up and help himself to our food. I know, right?! So go and have fun but keep an eye on your kids and your stuff, and take hand sanitizer!

My kids love come here. I would enjoy coming here more if my kids didn’t get sick pretty much always after we visit. I have no idea how they clean this place. The coffee is ok, sometime it has a weird after taste. My girls usually always get a pretzel, which is usually hard. They do love the slushies. We rented the place out for a private party for Girl Scouts. They were awesome about letting us bring in food. The girls had a great time.

This place is the best place to wear your kids out on a rainy day! Draw backs are over priced but good food and the place needs a deep cleaning. Bathrooms and floors are gross, the dust is not good for allergies. I wish the owner would read some online reviews and maybe put more attention into cleanliness…

Great for kids. All the running around keeps kids busy. We were able to plan a baby shower. The food was a little expansivebit not bad tasting.

This place is very sad. When they first open it was a lot cleaner. The bathrooms are so nasty I hardly even want to wear my shoes in there that’s how bad it is. A lot of the kids are In their socks then they are in the tubes tracking all that whatever is on the floor in their. It’s not very clean and the smell is horrible for as much as you pay I do not rate it any higher then the McDonald’s play places. The food is nothing special for the price. I try not to come unless I have a coupon or gift card from someone. I would not recommend this place to new parents.

This place is FILTHY! I was greeted with a thick stench of sweaty socks and general filth when I entered the building. There were only about 2 other families there so I paid my $ 3 and went inside but upon sitting down at one of the tables and noticing that it was sticky, the chair was dirty, the carpet was absolutely filthy and the play area for my 16 month old looked as though none of the structures had seen a Clorox wipe EVER… I turned around and left. I will never be back unless I want my kid to die from some contagious disease. They need to shut this place down and power wash it, top to bottom!

Decided to have my son’s 5th birthday party here and here is the conclusion: Nice place, gave enough seating for the kids(but not for the adults), have area for 3 and under and then it’s the big maze for the kids. Nice thing about it is that the parents can also go in the maze to keep a watchful eye on the kids. Decent food options(wraps, salads, coffee sop and smoothie shop style items for adults) and also them offering chicken tenders, hot dog, PB&J, and mini pancakes for the kids, which is a nice change of pace from the usual pizza and fries. They also offer ice cream cakes here and the hostess are pretty good. More importantly, all of this is for a good price, probably one of the 5 cheapest places to have a kids birthday party at in the area. Overall this place is a McDonald’s playplace meets Starbucks.

I enjoy this place — but most importantly — it is for the kids. Sure — the regular coffee is hideous. But, I can consume just about any coffee when absolutely necessary and they do have the foo foo stuff to mask the bad blends. Again — this place is for the kids. The play area for the walkie talkie kids is enormous and really provides a nice place for them to play. The toddler area is a little less amusing — but you’re talking about an age that just needs the basics. The nice thing is Jungle Java allows a venue where the children can play and you can kick back and chill as a parent, maybe do some work on your laptop, etc. They have some nice couch’s and a lounge areas — as well as basic tables and chairs. There is a place for a party area with long tables. Occasionally they will hand out a free pass for the child admission which is nice. Even at that — it is not overly expensive for a place for the kids to play. You have to figure they need to make their money somehow and at $ 7 admission — it could be worse. If you get a coffee you might end up paying $ 10(if you go cheap) — so you can make it work for your budget. Again — it is for the kids. Keep it in perspective.

The name speaks for itself. It is a place where kids roam freely in a mini jungle play place. If you are a parent that can’t tune out the noise of 50+ screaming/crying kids then skip this place or bring ear plugs. The interior is nice, but the staff doesn’t clean up regularly when people leave so the table are nasty. Pros: $ 7 per kid to play all day. Kids will play ALL day on this play place as we’ve spent 4 hrs+ here. Free wi-fi makes the place a good spot for parents to work or surf the web for free. Coffee, lattes, and smoothies are sold here Cons: Cleanliness is lacking Kids are supposed to wear socks, but I’ve seen 4 different barefoot kids roaming the«jungle» LOUD– But what can you expect with 50+ toddlers and 5 – 10 years in one place. Pricey food/drinks Too many parents tune out their own smaller kids and don’t supervise them or give rules to playing. Imagine four 3 year olds screaming bloody murder to the top of their lungs for no reason. Overall if this was in your backyard it’s a cool spot to take your kids and get a mini break or get some homework/work done. There is only one way in/out, so you don’t have to worry about a child getting away. I can’t get with the dirty tables though as we sat down to a mess. I hope that they sanitize the play place daily with all these kids here, but I doubt it. I was saddened that a staff person told me that she couldn’t tell the parents to have them put socks on their children’s feet. It is so unsanitary.

Why trust a review from a woman with no children? Just listen. While back home for the holidays, I met up with a few friends who do have little ones(toddlers) and we met up here. I thought, ‘What a great idea! A place for kids to run around and get tired so they’ll nap* AND a place where adults can get a cup of coffee!‘ There’s a separate fenced in/cordoned off area for toddlers, complete with a small slide and other things to climb on, and a gigantic multi-level play area/jungle gym for the older kids. The noise level can be kind of deafening if you’re not used to it, but it worth it to be able to run around with the wee ones and act silly for a little while. Lots of places for parents to sit and there are even a couple comfy couches to settle into. And yes, they have free wi-fi here. I didn’t have any food(just java), but they have adult and kid-friendly options(hot pretzels, mac n cheese, hot dogs, sandwiches) and some sweets for adults. There are a few coffee varieties in thermoses and you can even get a cappuccino, espresso or other specialty coffee drinks. Even though I left with a ringing in my ears from the cacophonous din, it was wonderful to catch up with old friends and see the smiles on their kids’ faces as we ran around and acted like goofballs. *Napping afterward not guaranteed. Well, maybe the adults will nap. ;)
