J Stephens Mens Shoes

I bought a pair of shoes for my mother in law today. She loves this shoes, I think they are great and comfortable, however the salesperson that sold the shoes to me, was extremely rude. He got upset because I got different shoes than the one he recommended. The ones I bought were actually more expensive than the ones he asked me to buy. I thought my mother in-​law would like the ones I picked better since I know her. After I saw his face, I just continued smiling and tried to be friendly. When paying for the shoes, I asked for a gift receipt, he said they don’t give out gift receipts and no stores in the entire mall gives gift receipts, pretty much said I was lying. I thought he was joking. He asked me to name a place where they give gift receipts. I had no idea why he was so hostile, I asked him what was the problem and that there was no reason to get upset over me asking for a gift receipt. He continued been rude. I paid and got his name (Julian Guzman). He said he was the manager, I told him I would call corporate which I intend to do. It was my first time there and my experience was terrible. I will never, ever, ever go back again. Not to the Topanga Mall Location or any locations for that matter.

This is a place of crooks. The Manager here is extremely NON CUSTOMER oriented. I returned 2 pairs of shoes TOTALLY UNUSED and I was not given money back but told you get a store credit. Since this was taken as a gift for my cousin overseas it was immediately returned with not even 1 use. So since I was told take a store credit I took it and then bought a pair of shoes for myself and within 1 week I got 3 shoe bites and when I came to replace the crook manager says we cannot refund the money but we cannot take the shoes back either or give you a replacement. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CROOKS at J STEPHENS in TOPANGA MALL

I bought a pair of flip flops here. They were the Sanuks that are made out of yoga mats. The guy that sold them to me was obviously gay and he was awesome. I’m not gay myself but if I could totally see myself hanging out with this dude. I think his name was Justin. He totally hustled me on these flip flops in the best way possible. I’m very happy with them and I’m a tough person to sell to due me being completely indecisive. I gave my specifications of what I wanted and he had me try on these flip flops that are awesome. I wear them all the time now. I will definitely be coming back to do my Christmas shopping.
