Came here with my wife to shop for shoes. Service from Yvonne was excellent. She was very friendly and helpful.

The employees when I was here with my wife just tended to ignore both us & the other customers there. They made no effort to ask if we had any questions or anything. All we got was a ‘thank you’ as we walked out to go shop somewhere with better customer service.
At least the music wasn’t blasting like at other shoes stores in the mall.

Walked in on multiple occasions where I wasn’t greeted. I was holding a few pairs of shoes in my hand & no one even approached me to ask for a size. My boyfriend found a girl & asked her, she just dropped off the shoes & walked away not even checking to see if I needed another size or diff style. Regardless, we still bought the shoes. At the cash register, not one word was exchanged. They obviously don’t care about their job.
I’ve been to the Northridge location & it’s a total different experience. They’re so friendly & make sure to make you feel comfortable & constantly check to make sure that the shoes fit & even offer sole pads to put inside.
Topanga sales people are a joke. Why spend hundreds of dollars at a place with no customer service skills?

The ladies at the stores are great and trying to help. My friend was bugging them for one hour and they have a lot of patient .
I think a lot of the shoes are not comfortable …

Back at it again, just made another 20+ item purchase. Absolutely love this store, so friendly and helpful. Kristen always helps me, and again the damage has been done with $ 474 on my credit card! But the prices were just too good. Thank you Kristen!

I withdraw any positive comments about this particular Steve Madden location.
Besides being able to sell shoes, these sales girls are not helpful and clearly don’t care about their reputation.
Don’t bother calling if you have a question. Instead of them doing research for you, you get a loose ‘I don’t know if we have that color or size’. How about just checking for the customer in your computer!!!
I really hate lazy sales people.

I called in asking if they take returns. Drove 40 minutes only to find out they don’t accept returns on men’s shoes. This is the third location that will not accept my return. They need to disclose women’s returns only.

Steve Madden hotness. Need I say more?
