I have been to Nordstrom’s no less than 500 times in the last 20 years. For some reason I have never gone up to the 3^rd floor and checked out Bazille.
Probably to busy in the young hip singles dept. Today I wandered upstairs and was greeted by the maitre d and sat done in a nice booth close to the kitchen. It was fun watching the chefs making everything from scratch. I had the calamari and my sister had the crab stack. Both were excellent. Instead of a marinara sauce with the calamari it was served with a light chili based sauce. Fantastic. The crab stack is to die for. The service was excellent just like the food. Will for sure go back.

This place never disappoint me. The service is really good. They gave us flowers for Mother’s Day. They are accommodating. And food is great! I love… love…love the bread pudding!!! I’m always in a hunt of a great bread pudding… and this place has one of the best I’ve tasted. When you try this place… please…please try the bread pudding!!!

Really never had a bad dish always really tasty with good service.

Not only is there food consistently outstanding, but they deliver some spectacular cocktails with a well thought out wine list to boot. Today my girlfriend had a cucumber cocktail with her crab macaroni, and I had a red sangria to pair with my steak. Never disappoints. And The service is always fantastic as you’d expect from Nordstrom. Chris our server today was great. It’s one of those places that has it all which is two things. Great customer service, and great food!

So I never knew until now that u can drink at notdstroms, but low and behold you can! Chris the bartender. Is amazing had for Jonathan coffee and caffeine Coke and lunch French dip and cilantro garlic shrimp salad it was amazing! I would definitely recommend coming here for lunch or even just while you’re shopping!!!

This is one of the places where you want to get everything off the menu. I ordered actually two meals because I couldn’t decide. I ordered a lime shrimp salad and the most delicious mac & cheese that had big lumps of crab in it.
The drinks are pretty tasty here too. I got my usual Moscow Mule except I made a mistake and got an Irish one. I love that they give you little chocolate meant when you’re done with the meal!

I think Nordstrom’s Café/​Bazille needs a menu refresh. I’m bummed you can’t get the tomato basil soup daily. I’m tired of the same offerings. I wish they’d change it up. Their linguini pasta dish is not very good at all. It’d be nice if they had more pasta options other than two risotto dishes.
Service is always wonderful here. It’s busy, and I do want to eat here more often, but please, update your menu or take out some poor performing items.

I surprise myself with a new meal almost every time I go. Every meal thus far has been my favorite meal and the desserts are to die for. My favorite, personally is the bread pudding, but an even winner would be the chocolate cake. It is like nothing you’ve tried before. Succulent. Marvelous. Memorable. And don’t even get me started on their emasculate mixed drinks. This place is a little hidden gem found with in the Topanga Mall, top level of Nordstrom. Also, I must give a shout out to Nikolas. You’re a great waiter and you add to the experience at Bazille. It is all-​in-​all a great environment to break away. Enjoy!

This places never disappoints. Located on the 3^rd floor inside of Nordstoms; this quaint little gem is my go to place when I’m at the mall. It’s really nice to have a quiet place to dine when taking a break from your shopping spree. Hehe I always order the chicken and angel hair pasta which is to die for. It always comes out hot and cooked to perfection. It is enough for one but definitely not large enough to share. The prices are relatively reasonable. It costs us about 40 bucks for 2 dishes and one drink. If you happen to be hungry while shopping, I highly recommend stopping in for a quick bite. Def worth it.

I worked out earlier today and then decided to run some errands afterwards. I headed over to Nordstroms (since it is my favorite place to shop) to look at their sunglasses. I started to get hungry after I was done shopping and I have heard so many good things about the Nordstroms restaurant. I was like «I would love some alone time right now.» Walked in and sat at the bar to watch football and eat.
May I just tell you that I was shocked how tasty their food was. Their fries were thin and crispy (which in love) and then I ordered their sweet chipotle chicken sandwich. OMG!!! So yummy and light. My sandwich and fries came with their own aioli sauce that is made with olives– may I just add how freaking amazing this sauce was. Ahhhhhh!!! I couldn’t finish my food, but now I got leftovers for later :) I am a happy camper.
Everyone was friendly and the service was great. Sit in Danny’s section, he’s great!

Nordstrom prides itself on its customer service. Bazille is no exception. Every time my wife and I eat here, the service is excellent. The quality of food here is very high. If you didn’t know it was in Nordstrom, you would think you were in a high end restaurant. The kitchen is completely open and visible from the dining area so you can watch a well oiled machine put together the masterful dishes. Steak frites are just like Paris. I’ve attached a picture of the shrimp and asparagus risotto. Shrimp was perfectly grilled as was the asparagus.
The star of the show and the main reason I come back is the Bread Pudding. It’s like French toast sitting on a plate of condensed milk covered in white chocolate shavings accompanied by whipped cream and raspberries. IT IS TO DIE FOR!
Do some shopping then grab some dinner and definitely dessert. You will not be disappointed.

A great place to hang out with family and friends! Kid friendly, but very elegant. Our waitress was very nice, she explained the specials and everything on the menu. She answered all of the questions we had.
Main Dishes:
Petite Filet Minion (special): It was a 7oz filet served with mashed potatoes, literally mashed (picture below) that was really well seasoned and had a crispy skin. Also came with other vegetables that were well seasoned. The filet itself was very tender and tasty.
Cilantro Lime Shrimp Salad: The salad was a very good twist and combination of flavors, you get citrus and savory. Shrimp was good quality and well prepared. The dressing was a cilantro lime vinaigrette, witch was decent.
Will definetly come back again.

Pleasantly surprised by this place located in the 3^rd floor of Nordstrom in the Westfield Topanga mall.
I knew I needed something before heading into typical after-​work traffic, so with a heavy heart, I trekked up here, expecting to be disappointed but knowing I needed nourishment. The bistro club (chicken with typical club additions including avocado and green beans) sounded the most appealing-​as well as easiest to eat in the car. This came with fries and kalamata olive dip. Normally not a fan of olives at all, this dip was delicious, and it wasn’t because I was starving. Something about the flavor coordinated with the herb fries, and once I got into that sandwich, this was fantastic! As a fan of green beans, I’ve certainly never had them in a sandwich, but it was a crunchy wonderful unexpected treat. I also didn’t expect to eat both halves today; but I did. Yes, I just raved about a club sandwich. A really good one.
Out of all the Nordstrom eateries, Bazille has taken first place in my book. I no longer look at this place as a convenient place to eat due to their location, but as a destination to look forward to.

Bazilles is your typical after work or lunch bite in between shipping; but don’t expect anything culinary. Unless, your palette is «stick with what I know.» The service is perfect; she explained the menu, specials and was glad to tell you her favorites. Although I did not go with what she recommend, I chose the chicken and angel hair pasta which is beyond average.
I didn’t want to eat in the large über-​non private cafeteria and decided to venture out to Nordstroms and check out Bazille. I ordered the Vine Street, ehhum 2 of them, the crisis vodka with muddled mint and a splash of prosecco was a perfect after-​a-​long-​work-​week drink. I orders 2; Enuff said.
The meal however was eclectic; I’m not sure why there were a million undiagnosed flavours in the dish; savory, sweet, bitter. It was all over the place. There clearly was no vision in this dish. Perhaps try another when you’re here.
Overall, fantastic service, great refreshing drinks, but my meal was your typical Midwestern don’t be impressed, meal. I’ll try something new when I come back. It’s Nordstroms! A girl will always shop here.

I love this place. Amazing service, great people, clean, and of course the food is sensational! The menu is small so you won’t be sitting there for ever trying to figure out what you want. Everything on the menu is good.
Great to take a date after hitting the mall.

I’ve passed by this place 75+ times and never once walked in?!? What was I thinking!!!
I’ve gone twice in the past week and we’ve been lucky enough to have Sydney serve us. She’s awesome!!!
Everything we tried was delicious! Their Asian salad was so fresh! I am always hesitant to order chicken breast because it’s so dry, but theirs is not! By a long shot!!!
Thank you Sydney and the kind chefs for making our experience wonderful each time! We’ll be back before you know it!

Had lunch here with the family. Pretty solid place overall (3.5 stars rounded up to 4). It’s tucked away on the 3^rd floor of Nordstrom, which I still don’t really quite understand lol.
The bread was really good! I normally don’t make note of the bread but theirs was on point! I also had the salmon and risotto. Good portions and pretty delicious, but it was a tad oily. We also had the bread pudding for dessert. The bread pudding itself was delicious, albeit a smudge burnt (I think we got the burnt edge that time lol). The sauce around it was a little too sweet, though. It was surrounded in like this condensed milk + white chocolate sauce. The raspberries and the raspberry sauce definitely helped cut the sweetness.
I’m rounding this up to four because of the service we received. Our server (who kind of looked like Jon Snow’s cousin haha) was pretty attentive and friendly.

Happy Thursday! I finally made it in here. Surprisingly yummy and the BEST part of my visit was the service. Super friendly host & hostesses. Awesome energy. You are greeted when you walk in and also acknowledged with gratitude when you leave. Clean and relaxed atmosphere. I met my friend here with my son for lunch. We started with the Crisp Calamari. It was served with lemongrass chile dipping sauce. The batter is dipped in a special batter so it’s not your ordinary oily fried calamari. This dish is $ 10.50 and was just right for 3 people. For the main dish, I had the Fresh Berry & Fig Salad with Goat Cheese for $ 13.50. I enjoyed the salad very much. It was very light and refreshing. The servings here are fair. Don’t expect large portions. Quality veggies. The greens in this salad is organic. The dressing was also unique as it was vanilla bean vinaigrette. So DELICIOUS! I finished everything from my plate. We then finished with a delicious White Chocolate Raspberry Bread Pudding. OMG… you must try! The dessert is no joke. Very easy to eat. It was served with whipped cream on the side and condensed milk with raspberry purée or sauce. Again, unique for a bread pudding. We left stuffed and happy!
We were able to walk off some of the calories as the café is located inside Nordstroms which is located at the Westfields, Topanga. We did well as we just walked around the mall and went window shopping! YAY

Been here a few times now and it never disappoints! The ambiance is my favorite part! It doesn’t ever feel like you’re inside the department store and offers a gorgeous dining room area filled with booths and an open kitchen. The service here is wonderful too. Everyone is extremely friendly and will give you their true opinions of the food options on the menu.
My absolute FAVORITE dish here is the Cilantro Lime Shrimp salad! I’m generally not a cilantro fan but the vinaigrette is so delicious and the shrimp is flavorful! Grilled to perfection. It’s a good sized portion, which makes me feel better about spending $ 15 on a salad. I absolutely recommend this salad! Also, the bistro fries are to die for! They are the skinnier type of fries served with a yummy dip (made from olives). The dip is creamy and refreshing. So good!
As for dessert, the bread pudding is fantastic. Served like a slice of cake on a bed of white chocolate condensed milk sauce, the pudding is crispy and smooth. One of the most amazing desserts I’ve ever had! Must try!

This is my favorite place to eat when I shop at the mall. Great food, great service.
It has an open kitchen so you can see the chefs working which adds a great energy to the restaurant. I’ve tried many things from the menu from salads to risotto and I really haven’t had a bad meal there. Great place to come with a friend, sit, eat and shop. It’s located on the third floor of Nordstroms so you can walk out the door and hit your favorite department.
