There are certainly better mexican food places in the south bay. Chips and salsa aren’t very good. The place has a dated feel to it. Food isn’t great either.

We have seen and heard about this Mexican grill for years. Finally had a chance to try it out. Not impressed. The salad I ordered was mostly wilted lettuce. Description had jicama in it– I got 3 slivers of it. Chicken on salad needed major seasoning. Salsas were flavorless and none were spicy. The other plates we ordered had a mere half a handful on what looks like Costo tortilla chips on it. My husband had a burrito and daughter had a bean rice dish– all in all we were not Happy but only ate it because we were really hungry. Una Menos~ Is more like it — Will definitely not visit again. :(

for all the dinner decision we made this was the worst. we order food and immediately the person who helped me has an attitude order a burrito he said it does not come with rice and then i used my card but i would like to use it as credit he made it seems so difficult for him to process he insist i entered my pin code i said no i would like to use it as credit. finally he agreed but there is a hush moment. the bathroom was dirty and the food is not very good. it tasted like a stale food and yucky unpleasant tongue bud. we will never come back to this place and definitely tell our friends and family about our experience.

Yummy food and great people. I got there early before the lunch rush with my Doggy Simbie. They have outdoor seating so we sat there I had the salad lunch special for $ 5.99 with drink and free chips. Their flavors and salad dressing super licious and salsa bar. My tummy is happy today. Service was fast with a great price. Simbie had a great time here getting some Vitamin D’s and free air.

Jamal the owner is a sweetheart… Very friendly and accommodating! I’m just wondering why nobody has commented on the tortilla soup… It is absolutely out of this world delicious!!! I have never in my life tasted such a delicious soup… So good I’ve been known to come get at least twice a week just for the soup!!! ;)

I always get tofu fusion tacos and it has never come like this!!! Got takeout so didn’t even notice untill I was already home! 3 huge chunks of tofu with just onion and bell pepper?! Where’s the cabbage? Sauce? Honestly? And the chips were stale! I know I ordered around 8 but SERIOUSLY?!

Well here we go again, another review. You’re all probably wondering where I’ve been lately, and the answer is that I’ve been spending most of my time in a hazy state of awareness — whittling away most of my days reading the newspaper at the Heartbeat Café(usually eating a Bavarian beef sandwich — 4 stars). Things have been looking decidedly down for your old friend Dann, and I haven’t been able to reconcile many of the deeper issues that plague me. Further and further into tightened grooves of a downward spiral, where depth becomes less of a concern than the rapidly whipping circuit on my poor poor brain. But whatever, it doesn’t matter. On to the review. Una mas is a good looking place, perfectly located across the parking lot from the bike store and across the street from a bagel shop or something. I knew right when I walked in and saw that there was no line that I had stumbled upon a hidden gem. I ordered what I figured everyone would order at this place — burrito. A burrito perfectly represents what this place is all about because when you’re done with it, you’re always left saying«¡Una mas!» I decided that I’d had enough about a quarter of the way into my second burrito but I had to use the restroom before I left. Upon entering the restroom, I noticed that there were lots of footprints on the ground. While I was first taken aback by the clear lack of cleanliness, I realized that that must mean that this restroom was a place well-traveled, which is a good thing. As I scanned the bathroom, I noticed two paintings on the wall that helped spruce up the place. The first painting was of a flower, which made me think of things that smell nice — always a welcome thought while in the john. The second was of an open door, which made me think of things coming and leaving, sort of like food in your body. I spent nearly an hour in the bathroom looking at these pictures, at which point the restaurant staff politely asked me for the final time to unlock the door and leave. Please pray for me. To sum this place up, the food was great and the service exquisite. What more could you ask for? I guess that little extra something that I can’t put my finger on. For not having that, I give the restaurant four stars but recommend that you come to this place often. And when you think you’ve come to this place too many times, just remember, «Una mas can’t hurt.»

This place routinely hits it out of the park. Fast & friendly service. They make me feel like they know me and genuinely appreciate my business. They’re happy to accommodate my finicky requests. Their salsa bar is great. Food is fresh and zesty. And it’s fast.

This review is way past due… I must say nasty place! STAYAWAY! I got serious food poisoning at this place when I was pregnant and ended up in a hospital for two days. I ordered fish tacos and I even asked them to cook it well bc I was pregnant and was staying away from seafood. Well, that didn’t happen and I only ate one taco and still got very sick from it. I returned back a while after I had a baby and spoke with staff. It turns out staff wasn’t surprised… they told me kitchen is very dirty and the owner is careless and doesn’t want to make any improvements. I think health department should pay them a visit! I am surprised they stayed open all these years considering the circumstances. I refuse to eat at any Una Mas place after this experience and this place deserves negative stars!

Dirty dishes! Disgusting. When I pointed out to the employee, her response was — it is dirty from avocado. I didn’t want to argue — just left. See photo… There are fingerprints all over the plate!

The food was really bland ordered red enchiladas they tasted like nothing, my co workers were also pretty disappointed in their food. The staff kind of didn’t even acknowledged us it was like we didn’t exist just overall not a pleasant experience. The two stars are for the portions they are decent.

Not too bad at all. I used to get vegetarian burritos from Una Mas and their other locations but lately have been sticking to their bean and cheese burritos to be on the cheap side and it’s pretty decent. Comes with some tortilla chips. Service is fairly good and efficient.

Needed a quick lunch and this was the only place that sounded appealing. Man in man, I regret that for sure. The food was cold, the beans were chunky and the«carne asada» had grease dripping out of my taco. This was a huge mistake of a lunch! Don’t waste your time or money!

Great customer service, polite and friendly. The food was amazing. Theirs enchiladas rojas are the best.

What the f*ck was I thinking? What with Whole Pay-check across the parking lot, and Noah’s across the street?!? If you like«burned to cinders» chicken, super wet burritos, chips with literally pools of oil on them, soft drinks that taste like«Axe» body spray(Yeah… just how does that happen?) and slow-boat to China wait-time *Ding Ding Ding* … well you’ve come to the right place. ¿Una Mas? ¡ No!

My and my bf were super hungry and were running errands around the area. Went in and ordered. They have a large range of sauces. None were really hot but I do like that they offer a range of choices and that you can get as much as you want. The burritos were fairly large. Unfortunately they weren’t good. It wasn’t authentic and I feel chipotle tastes much better. I also asked for no beans and they put beans in it. Last and final visit.

On a rainy day, I was craving a burrito. I also had a BOGO burrito coupon for here, so off to Una Mas I went. I love their fish burrito and also got the chicken fajita burrito. The workers here seemed genuinely nice, and like a family(maybe they were)? Dissapointing was the salsa bar. Only 3 types of salsas, no salsa verde, and no pickled carrot/onion/jalapenos here. The restaurant is pretty darn large here as well. Got my food and devoured my fish burrito. Pretty yummy, a bit too much on the rice, less on the fish and cabbage. I was putting aside the chicken fajita burrito when I saw oil seeping out of it. I opened the foil and it was smothered in oil leaking from the burrito. Gross! That has never happened to me? Was a bit disgusted but ate it the next day regardless. Was tasty, but the thought of all the oil was in the back of my head the whole time eating it.

I wanted to like this place, I really did. I won’t give it only one star because it was edible, and it wasn’t «Bad.» I ordered one fish taco, and one carnitas taco. Supposedly the fish taco was grilled, although it definitely did not look like grilled fish. It looked and tasted much more like a piece of fish dropped into a fryer without breading. Of course, because it was fake fried, it was a little more tasty, however I was hoping for a grilled fish taco. My carnitas taco was an epic fail. The meat was shredded, which is good, but it was so thin that it ended up being crispy strips. Most of the meat in the taco was hard and crunchy. My fiancé ordered two carne asada tacos which he said were not bad. However, I tried a little of the meat, and it just tasted very cheap. Also the restaurant was not clean at all. The tables were covered in crumbs and sauces. There were chips on empty tables. There were only two people working so I understand they were probably too busy, but for a customer to have to clean their own table, its a little ridiculous. Plus side: Chips on the side were good, free salsa bar. The cream sauce on the fish tacos was EXCELLENT!

I love the people who run this place. I come by during lunch during the weekdays and the tall gentleman always greets me with a smile and matching service to boot. The food isn’t something that I would rave about, but it is quality food at the right price. I usually get the fish tacos and load up on fresh condiments at the salsa bar. Their pico de gallo and cilantro are my go to items, and their fire roasted salsa is legit. Also you can’t go wrong with the fish or chicken burritos. I wasn’t a fan of their beef carne asada so I skip on that choice. The corn tortilla is «corny» flavorful, and doesn’t fall apart, and the flour tortilla is nice and chewy. I HATE flaky and dry(usually means old) flour tortillas and I’ve never had a problem here. All of the ingredients are fresh and tasty, and not overly salted either. The dining area is long and narrow, with a bit more space in the back by the restrooms. There is a TV but not the best place to watch sports as it is difficult to get a good angle.
