I haven’t been to a Sizzler in years, and when we came in to this one, I was shocked. It is so nice! The décor, the new look, everything… great. The cashier was training, but both cashier & trainer were very polite & friendly. Our waiter was very attentive & quick as well. Awesome food & great staff. Very impressed! Carson C. omg!!! This Sizzler is amazing!!! The food is fresh, delicious and well displayed. Perfect!!! But the most incredible part of my first visit here is the service. I am handicapped from Lyme Disease and came to take out two dinners. They helped me with everything and were incredible sweet and professional too! I would like to thank Alex, Brooke, Melanie and Nicki. Absolutely amazing… I could not have done it without them!!!

I came into Sizzler earlier today to have a Easter brunch with my family. There were seven of us and we were there prior to them opening. So when the doors opened we may have been the third group to go in. Overall the food and service was great. We ate and were happy. Our waitress worked very hard and was very friendly. My problem was with the restroom. Mid-lunch my daughter and I went to use the restroom. I would say we had not been there more than thirty minutes. The state of the female bathroom was truly disgusting. I noticed the toilet had a ring around the edge of the water from mold. Obviously it had not been clean in a long time. I used my shoe to lift the seat and I was ASTONISHED. The toilet was ridden with urine, feces, and hair. I went to the next stall only to find the exact same thing. Next I went to go wash my hands(I felt so unsanitary being in there). Well the sink was just as nasty. There was brown grime around the drain. There was a red and brown liquid splashed up the side of the sink. It is clear that the restroom hadn’t been clean prior to opening the restaurant and not for days prior. I can understand that problems arise. However, when I asked to speak to the manager he was really rude and unprofessional about the situation. After leaving the restroom, I immediately went to ask for the manager. When he walked up and asked what he could do for me I told him the restroom was really filthy. He replied that, «they would take care of it,» and he ran off. I was literally still speaking to him and he turned his back to me and left… while I was still TALKING. It really was a shame that he handled the situation like that. It is quite unfortunate that as a manager he is not making sure his employees are doing their job properly. The biggest bummer of all that the manager, of all people, ruined what would have been a lovely Easter brunch.

This place is conveniently located off the freeway. It’s clean and modern. They have a large parking lot with plenty of spaces and it’s well lit at night. For a Saturday night, the buffet was well stocked and the area was kept clean. $ 12.99 buffet. However I was in the mood for a steak. I ordered the 6 ouncer, it comes with a side for about $ 13. I choose a baked potato as my side. I requested the steak to be medium rare and that puppy came out a perfectly. The cut of meat was oh so tender, soft. I added a side salad for $ 3.79. The bake of the potato was even right on and I requested the toppings(butter, sour cream, and chives) on the side. If you don’t they would put it on. Hubs had a burger, he added cheese and bacon with a baked potato. He ordered the burger well done and the bacon extra crispy, and it came out just as requested. The complimentary cheese toast is sooo darn tasty. Only 1 slice per customer. But if you don’t ask, they won’t bring it out. Strange but I noticed that«don’t ask, don’t get» policy at most all of the Sizzlers. Oh well. Plus I have to mention the women’s restroom was pretty clean and well maintained. A major pet peeve of mine are stanky restaurant bathrooms, because who wants to have a nice meal go to poop with a visit to a stinky stanky restroom.

We went to have steak& lobster, YUK!!! The small piece of meat they called steak was tuff and the lobster was stringy. The steak and lobster is not worth $ 20.00. The only thing they have going for them is the salad bar. Don’t waste your money.

It took us 8hrs to get from south lake tahoe to this restaurant, crazy snow storm. We were stressed, tired & starving! Our server’s name was Keri and she was AMAZING! The food was perfect and the facility itself was awesome. I live in Northern Ca, the few Sizzlers we have are not nearly as nice as this one. Thank you Keri for your phenomenal service! I hope your manager realizes what an asset you are. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

The best thing I can say about this restaurant is that Tiffany is a terrific waitress. I wanted Cesar’s dressing on my salad but there was no spoon in the container. Tiffany called someone(on an intercom I think) to bring one. She also asked four members of the staff(one at a time) to get a spoon. Finally the manager appeared and she asked him. The spoon never arrived. The salad bar food is so so with the exception of the carnitas which was delicious.

I compliment Brandon our waiter. Food quality has gone down hill. I will no longer come to Sizzlers. Thinnest piece of Malibu chicken ever. The edges were rubbery from quick cook or something.

The service isn’t the best, and the food is hit or miss. Some times the food tastes great, and other times it’s not. Ive had a really good burger before and when ive ordered it another time, it was cold and under cooked. The prices are a little outrageous for the quality of food and service. You buy an entreé for about $ 10 – 16 and still have to pay about $ 9 for just the salad bar! I wouldn’t mind paying that price if the food was good, but it’s nothing special. It reminds me of a fast food restaurant with ridiculous prices. There’s plenty of other places in the area that are worth the money.

In my more recent visits, the hot items in the salad bar have been fresh. Last night, I ate there with my father and staff were regularly turning over items and bringing out fresh stock. I think the key is just to come during busy hours. Staff is always helpful and friendly, and I do enjoy all the options their salad bar provides.

My husband and I had given up on Sizzler, as we watched a family favorite from the 1980s slide into a less than adequate place. We begrudgingly accepted my sister invite to join them at the Cameron Park Sizzler. Surprise Surprise. They’re back. And so are we to a very updated, clean, fresh salad bar plus. Friendly staff, good cooks, delicious food. Way to go Sizzler.

I haven’t been to Sizzler in quite a while(probably 10ish yrs since I went to one in Flagstaff, AZ). They have a variety of options! I opted to go for the salad bar which was really good for the price. It’s not your typical salad bar or anything. They have salads, fruit salad, pasta salad, tacos, Mac and cheese, onion rings, chicken wings, potato wedges, soups and dessert. Haven’t had the steak or burgers but I imagine they are good! Come on out to Cameron Park and give Sizzler a try!

Surprisingly, I’ve never been to Sizzler before. My family and I took a little overnight trip to my aunt’s place, and we decided to eat here for lunch. You can expect your typical American chain restaurant when you eat here. My brother got the fish and chips, I got the Cajun pasta, my mom got the grilled salmon, my aunt got the steak and shrimp scampi, and my BF got the fried jumbo prawns. Everything tasted fine, although I wasn’t impressed with my pasta. Overall, a decent place to dine, but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

If you havent been to the Cameron Park Sizzler in a while then YOUMUSTGOASAP. Sizzlers food is basically an american pastime. It consistently brings back memories of special occasions for the last 40 years. Birthdays, graduations and early dates w my wife 25 years ago. The REMODEL at the Cameron Park location is AWESOME. The last time I was there before the remodel I was very apprehensive about the locations future. But boy was I blown away last night. The lighting is so much brighter. The colors so much richer. Great art on the walls that reflect the foothill lifestyle. Sooooo Clean! Many 55inch hi def tvs and what seemed to be a gigantic 80inch playing the basketball game. It was fantastic. The service was great. The initial order takers were cute, welcoming and helpful. Our waitress Cassie was a phenomenal person. She was so helpful and attentive. We never needed anything because she took care of everything before we even knew it. We had a pretty large party of 10 and she took fantastic care of us. She even gathered all the servers over to sing me happy birthday which was a great surprise. They sang with loud happy voices and giant authentic smiles. You dont always get that these days. Thanks for the great experience.

I am thrilled to report, we had a challenge as it related to service attention during our visit recently. However the ‘owner’ of the Restaurant called me and we had the most upbuilding conversation. She was humble, gracious and apprecitive of my feedback. I am absolutely confident our next visit will be a 5 star. Let’s all focus on paying it forward this year. Give each other grace coupled with honest feedback so we can all be our best. Most of all — be human! Thank you to the Sizzler conviction of modeling service with an ‘exceed the customer expectation’ mentality’. And learn to grow from a challenge. That is what I call a true ‘stellar service mentality’!!!
