Green Valley Apartments

Do not rent here! I rented at this apartment for six months and it was horrid. Sue the property manager is completely unprofessional and associates with most of the drug addicts in the area. She never does her job on time and often forgets if you needed anything (even if it was scheduled & confirmed). She was supposed to give me a window screen for my apartment when I first moved in and she never did. She continuously ignores tenant requests. Sue also failed to evict a neighbouring tenant who blasted music ²⁴⁄₇ for days on end. Many other tenants complained and she decided to inform us that the tenant was a drunk so we should cut him some slack. A lot of creeps live in the apartment already and Sue stated herself that she is close with most of the tenants. Sue allowed a tenant to ransack an apartment that had been vacated as well.
When it came time for me to move I cleaned and scrubbed for hours and Sue guaranteed that I would get back most of my $ 400 deposit back (which was documented). What actually happened is Sue stated she did all of the cleaning and referenced the cleaning products she bought but did not reference any receipts for the purchases. She only gave me $ 80 of the deposit back and said she did all the work. That, of course was a lie and I’m currently taking legal action.
On several occasions myself and other tenants have seen /​heard her bad mouth tenants and the owners of the apartment. Sue also employs unqualified people to make repairs. One of the men she hired to fix the glue In my bathroom spray painted all of my toothbrushes and make-​up.
Also the laundry policy is that if you aren’t there to take your clothes out people can take them out for you and throw them anywhere. That means anyone can take your clothes and Sue is A ok with it.
If you are looking for a good place to live, keep looking because this place is run by a slum-​lord. If you enjoy doing drugs, seeing tweakers running rampant and disrespectful management this may be the place for you.
