This is probably the best Mexican food I’ve had in the Sacramento area. It’s so amazing. Their taco salads are still to die for, and their winearitas are pretty spectacular as well. Highly recommend this place!

I love eating here. Lived in Cameron park for over fifteen years and my mom recently started bringing us here, easily one of the best Mexican food places in the el dorado county area. Staff is always nice and very sweet! The papoosas are a must have!

Great Mexican and Salvadorian food! Large portions for a reasonable price. Chicken Crema was fantastic. Micheladas are really good too. Our waitress Vanessa was super nice and extremely attentive. Only bad thing is that they don’t have margaritas. Nevertheless, definitely going back again for some great food:)

Awesome food! We love it! The menudo is amazing! My husband loves the taquitos with the ranchero sauce. Everything we have tried is so good there! I highly recommend Fernando’s Costa Del Sol!!!

We’ve been coming here off and on since they opened. The pupusa’s are the best around. Can’t go wrong with the chicken, pork or cheese and their cabbage. Family owned and close by. Good prices and friendly service. Try them out.

I started eating here with the minitaco(street tacos) specials. Delicious and the price is SO right. Although I usually only order water with any meal, I feel obligated to order a diet Coke to improve the restaurant’s profit margin. Today I saw another customer enjoying her soup. She had ordered the tortilla chicken soup. Seven dollars for a small order and nine dollars for a large. So after ordering my tacos, I ordered a large bowl of the chicken tortilla soup to take home. The soup was also delicious. In the future, my orders will be minitacos, plus some chicken tortilla soup to take home. Since the soup is freshly made, it takes about 20 minutes for the soup to be ready. So order and eat your mini– tacos, and order the soup to take home. Or, you can converse for 20 minutes and then be served. With the soup, you should ask for the homemade corn tortillas, which you can break up and add to your soup.

After noticing that this is the highest rated Mexican place in the area, we tried the restaurant with high hopes of some authentic taste. Really turned off by the reluctant wait staff and overall pretty boring food. The fried yuca made me sad. Prices were too high.

Always leave here with a full stomach and a smile on my face. I think I’ve tried about everything on the menu & let me assure you it is all TASTY. This is my go to for Mexican food.

My friend and I were craving mexican food. Prices were a bit pricey compared to your typical taqueria place. Food seem a bit dry. Service was great, as for food, we’ll have to give it another try on some other dish. Had a super shrimp burrito that seemed to be stuff with beans and rice only. Barely had any shrimp in it, on top of that it was all cut into small pieces, not whole. 10 bucks, can’t say It was worth the money, but portions were big, except for the lack of shrimp in my burrito. The el Salvadoran nachos aka fries, I’ll probably give it a 3. The fries tasted different, so if you’re looking for carne asada fries I suggest going to an authentic mexican joint.

Weak service I’m not gonna sugar coat it. The food is pretty good I guess but mostly just average at best. There’s this guy with long hair that is a good guy and performs with service up to my standards.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area! It’s a family run restaurant and the service is always great! The food is out of this world, real Mexican food. They have specials and you can usually finds coupons in local papers. Try their chimichangas, they make the best I’ve ever had! I know some think, «you try one Mexican restaurant, you’ve tried them all» but this is not the case. GOHEREORIT’S YOURLOSS!

Looking for a great place to eat in the Cameron Park area, then Fernando’s Is the place to go. The weekly specials are great. Go on Thursday night and get the Taco’s. Order the home made tortillas and you can us them to make a couple more Taco’s. The fish tacos are also the best in the area. The salsa has a great flavor and it makes it hard to stop eating it. You get a salad with your meal too. Great atmosphere and the staff is happy to please you.

Came here with my girlfriend and all of our kids today. The food was pretty good… The three stars is for the service. Two girls were taking care of us. The first girl with super long hair was nice. She got us our apple juice and water’s and then handed us off to the brunette girl. They both didn’t introduce themselves which is important to me because I like to know my servers name so I can ask them questions if they’re walking by, but they both didn’t. I just felt that the brunette didn’t want to be serving a handful of kids. Anyway, the food was good and the portions were hefty. We did run dry on our waters and had to ask for our check. Not my favorite place, but if I’m in Cameron Park, I’ll still go.

Love the lady servers and who ever is cooking back there is experienced! I love the food and great prices:))) The soups and micheladas might take some time, but they are made fresh to order and worth the wait :)

A family favorite because the food is delicious. Recently we celebrated my Mom’s 77th Birthday.(I posted a photo!) We all had such a great time, everyone enjoyed the food, but the service from our waitress and the rest of the staff would no doubt earn a 10 star rating if I could give it. Thank you Fernando’s Costa Del Sol!

It’s been coming here for years and it’s going down hill fast. I’m writing this as I sit in the restaurant waiting over an hour for 6 pupusas. They lost our order and usually the pupusas don’t have anything in them which is upsetting. Sorry but I’m not coming back again. Not paying to just get full off chips and salsa.
