One sentence summary: avoid at all cost — your life will be better without having Dr. Schlesinger in it.
I went for the green card required physical. A list of remarkable things Dr. Schlesinger impressed me with:
1) He somehow managed to leave a bruise the size of a tennis ball on my arm by taking a most basic blood sampling. It has been six months since then, and I can still sort of see the marks.
2) My bruise was probably caused by this — judging from our conversation: He had an eye check up before meeting me that morning. He had his pupil dilated and was NOT able to drive. So his wife had to drop him off, but he WAS able to stick a needle into my vein (!!!). I am sure you are curious why I didn’t stop there. Like many other people who went there, I decided to take my chances and couldn’t be bothered the trouble since I was already there… He is the closest option to Harvard Sq…
3) He was spilling out racist comment the whole 30 mins I was in his office, e.g. «oh, Chinese people are very cheap. They would spend two hours to save $ 2.»
4) His office was straight out of a 70’s movie. Very alarming hygienic condition.
The only one star was for the nice receptionist.
I repeat — cause important things need to be repeated — AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

I went to Doc Schlesinger office for a green card related medical exam and I was a bit nervous because of what I read about Dr Schlesinger online.
I was very pleasantly surprised. The man itself was very competent, hilarious and he knew was he was doing. He is very direct and won’t hesitate to make jokes about your country/​his country and everything. Very friendly guy.
The prices are pretty cheap compared to all of the other places I found (190 $ for tb and syphilis tests).
His staff (especially his receptionist) are frankly amazing and they will get out of their way to help you out.
Tl;dr: would recommend, great service and staff

This office is pretty old school, but I’m a fan. Very casual office, but Dr. Schlesinger has been very helpful this year. I’ve had a couple of surprise medical problems, which were taken care of easily enough, but I’ve also had back problems for 10 years — his treatment is the first that’s worked after several doctors and physical therapists. He had a suspicion, researched it after our visit, and followed up with me via phone to talk about it and recommend possible treatment. Nice guy.

I do NOT recommend this Doctor, poor costumer service, terrible service, unprepared, unfriendly and disrespect full staff.
Mr. Peter Schlesinger and his employees doesn’t care about you only about the money, acting very unprofessional, recently I had to get some medical exams done and chose Dr Peter Schlesinger for being close to my house, paid about $ 300 for the exams, vaccines update and blood exams, the exams were give to me on a sealed envelope. Find out couple months that the forms were missing information, got really upset had to go back there asking for a copy and they said I had to pay $ 15 for a single copy, but I wouldn’t be there if he hasn’t made a mistake in first place. After giving me a hard time a little fight they gave me the copy, he also start talking bad in Spanish with his crew not aware that I understand Spanish.
so, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, LOOK FOR ANOTHER DOCTOR IN THE AREA !!
They will treat you okay until get your money, after that if you have any problems, or need any support from them you are on your own. Also be careful if you don’t speak Spanish they might be talking bad about you. (very unprofessional)
