The service is slooooow and that’s being nice. I think on this island you don’t have to know how to bartend or be smart as long as guys think your cute. The bartender is to busy flirting and chatting to do her job and thinks cause she has big boobs she can just smile after being such a horrible bartender and leaving you without beers for 15 mins it should be ok. Which brings me to beer. Pretty decent beers but watch what you buy, most beers say one price for a 22oz but in actuality you get a 16oz. Very overpriced. Food was mediocre at best. Im assuming the guys at the bar goo gooing over the bartender will keep them busy and I guess it makes her feel like she’s doing a good job cause she seemed to have no idea she was a horrible bartender. Hopefully they find better staff as it seems not serving is what their servers are good at. I’m giving one star cause I have too. Camano really disappoints when it comes to places to eat.

Awsome pizza… new expanded menu… great service where they remember our names… Chris is attentive and knowledgeable and friendly… well worth a drive from Seattle!

Best, and only, bar on the Island. The people here really care. And it shows. Great music. Great booze. Great food. Leave your complaints at the door.

We were looking for a place to eat late Sunday evening 9pm, and Pub282 was the only place open nearby. Nice modern interior and finishes, and very clean. It was pretty empty (to be expected for Sun 9pm), the waitress let me change the channel to watch Sportscenter. We ordered a chicken nachos which hit the spot. Nice selection of craft beers & beers on tap (Mac&Jacks), I tried the Bonfire Brown which did not disappoint. Some great country music hits playing in the background. They have live music, open mic and trivia nights, and Taco Tuesdays!

This is an okay place to go if you’re hungry — as long as you don’t mind waiting — service is a bit slow. The pizza is your best bet. Good place to socialize! I love the clean and stylish bathrooms!

Most of sandwiches are huge and taste great! Had a cheeseburger on last visit and very disappointed! Bun was cheap –fall apart type– meat over cooked and tepid– for price Burger King is a better burger! Wait staff great–

I enjoyed the atmosphere and the service. Not so much the food. We got a appetizer of fries$ 7 and two bruschetta’s ($ 9 each). The fries wee the poopy coated things and the brushstroke was just about 7 pieces of baguette with a mixture of tomatoes garlic basil and sprinkle of Parmesan. The «dipping sauce» was a balsamic dressing (not a balsamic reduction). Way over priced for the serving size and not tasty, won’t be back. And they are even expanding, not sure why, they are way too expensive and tasteless.

Living out on the island I am always excited to try places close to home. I decided to order for pick up from the Pub. I ordered a 12″ pizza, a children’s cheeseburger, and a turkey club. It took me 10 minutes to get there, and my food was ready. The feel of the place was very clean and inviting. My only complaint is when I walked in, it was a little confusing for me to find someone to talk to. There’s a sign to seat yourself, but all the staff was either at the bar or in the kitchen. I eventually just went to the bar and got some help.
My daughter loved her burger, and we all know young kids they can be picky. She finished it off. My husband is also fairly picky and he enjoyed the pepperoni pizza. My club was delicious. The bread was crispy even after driving the food home. The sandwich was well balanced and very tasty. I would definetly be trying other things on the menu in the future.

Happy to see a new addition on CI which we really need. I took my son & DIL here for late afternoon lunch. Looking forward to the on-​tap beers. BOTH dark beers ‘tapped out’ & the next selection I asked for also gone so I said I would just have water. Ca-ching…no sale. Looking @ the chalk board I asked why they didn’t erase them if they are gone… reply was she had been doing it all day. What I should have asked is… why don’t you tap new kegs? Now granted, I don’t know ANYTHING about running a pub but if you don’t have ANY dark beers on Sat. afternoon what’s the point of being in business to sell beer? I was actually able to get the next beer I asked for as she came back & said she was mistaken & they did have some left. Now… the food: My son ordered the shrimp salad & the grilled club house sandwich. When she bought the sandwich she said… did you order the Italian? NO. Now this is the 2^nd time recently that wait staff (not here) is not using a pad to write down the order. If you can’t remember it then you need to do the ‘Sara Palin Thingy’ & write it on your palm! So it had to be replaced. My DIL ordered the veggie pizza. I had been warned by a friend that that the pizza was great but be sure to ask for the crust to be crispy which she did. We all thought the salad & pizza were great & after my son got the right sandwich he said it was also great. I ordered the pulled pork as it is my ‘go to’ if on the menu. Described as being served with the coleslaw on top… what is with that? I asked for it to be on the side…& it is totally tasteless so I’m really glad it wasn’t on my sandwich. I know this would not be their forte but sometimes I get a pleasant surprise & get a great pulled pork. Had to ask for extra sauce as it was dry which she seemed surprised by but delivered. Sauce is definitely some industrial make so I would order something else. Fries were good. About mid-​point in eating someone else asked for the TV to be turned off… thank you! I will come back as I’m really looking forward to having the year-​round outdoor seating space hopefully with no TV on. I totally get it when playoffs are on people come to watch & eat…& I wouldn’t come then, but does it have to be on ALL the time? Looking forward to having a burger & a DARK BEER ON TAP in the future!

So sorry to have to write a negative review for this place because we were really looking forward to trying it. My husbands pizza was «on par with take and bake» and my hamburger was reminiscent of something you’d buy at an elementary school fund raiser. I don’t think it was seasoned at all, was overdone and, curiously, not hot. Although the condiment bar seems like a good idea, it wasn’t. The shredded cheddar didn’t melt on my tepid burger, the A1 sauce was watery, the bacon was underdone and clumped together and there was something whitish and watery dripping from the bottle of ketchup I used. When I requested a whole wheat bun I was told they were «out».
The service was just so-​so. The staff seems unenthusiastic and several servers were clustered around the bar entrance for most of the time we were there. Given the above, this food was wildly overpriced.
I will say the beer was great!

Good selection of bottles & 12 on tap. Burger was good & with topping bar you can put as much or as little as you want. Happy to see Stacy as well as a couple of the other folks from the old Diamond Knot here. Will be back!

Great new edition to the Renaissance of Camano Island casual bar and grill dining. Great beers on tap. Loved the menu and couldn’t pass up the hamburger condiment bar. Looking forward to live entertainment on stage. Great to have so many excellent new, slightly different restaurants on Camano, all good, very good.
