Staff was very pleasant and friendly. I enjoyed the coffee, go with the dark roast. Had a breakfast sandwich which was ok. Food appears to be mostly microwaved. Might be better off ordering just a toasted bagel. They would really benefit from a full kitchen so they can cook to order. Ill be back again.

«Sometimes you wanna go, where everybody knows your name». I felt this way when I walked in. Great service, quality drinks and breakfast offerings. Quaint. It was WONDERFUL.

The Roastery is super welcoming! My husband and I had breakfast there one morning while visiting Calistoga. There was a large group of what appeared to be retired gentleman. Retirees seem to know what’s good! I had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and my husband opted for an avocado, egg, and cheese. Both were a good bargain and filling. Coffee and drinks were great, too.

This place was packed when we came in on a Monday morning. My husband and I ordered two smoothies and a bacon breakfast sandwich and an avocado breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwiches were very basic, egg, cheese, avocado, tomato and English muffin but was soooo good. Every ingredient was fresh and delicious.

Great coffee tried the decaf and the medium roast. Can go wrong with the breakfast sandwich. Friendly place. Great breakfast place when you’re in a rush and on a budget.

We stopped in before a cycling event and the egg sandwich and hot chocolate hit the spot. Very friendly owner. Fast enough service for how busy they were. I loved the ambience. Would definitely go back.

Favorite coffee place in Calistoga. They are always busy, but quick service. Excellent coffee and great sandwiches. Perfect way to start your day before hitting up wineries.

Stopped in for some quick breakfast sandwiches before hitting the road to Napa. The place was packed when we arrived, but we didn’t wait a long time for our sandwiches. I chose the egg and cheese with avocado on a whole-wheat bagel. The bagel was fresh and the sandwich wasn’t huge but was enough for a small breakfast. The Roastery is probably better known for their coffees. I chose an espresso and it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but was good. If you’re on your way to Napa or just stopping by Calistoga, I would recommend hitting this place up. Not overly expensive, and pretty quick if you’re in a rush.

Our go to spot every time we vacation in Calistoga. We always get medium lattes, 2 shots, and they are very good. Highly recommend the breakfast sandwich with avacado. The granola is also good for something a little lighter/healthier. Good seating, even though the place is always packed. And everyone working there is friendly & upbeat. Even when the place is packed. Good way to start the day.

The staff here is really nice. The place is clean and very roomy. But their chai just isn’t great. I’d give it a 3.5 if I could, but I just can’t justify a 4 star review if their chai isn’t good.

Really nice spot for brunch. Great coffee and smoothies but the turkey wrap made the morning. We’ll be back to sample again.

WORSTICEDCOFFEEEVER — I mean really! My boyfriend and I asked for extra coffee as it tasted exactly like water and must have been made from a sort of concentrate, but even with asking for extra it remained the most watery tasting iced coffee we’ve ever had. This coffee makes dunkin donuts look strong! However we did come here an earlier time and got iced tea, which was much better — no complaints. The space was cute and I would come back if the coffee had been any good, bummer for a roastery.

good free wifi, average coffee, average staff. Was disappointed that at 3:15 I couldn’t get a salad bc they«stop serving food at 3pm». I understand but they weren’t busy and the staff just didn’t feel like making it. Prices are higher than quality and they do not give discounts on anything to locals(which is only place in Calistoga that I’ve been told«no» for a local’s discount). $ 2.40 for an Americano, $ 2.20 for a pot of tea. Go to Bella Bakery instead. It’s further down the street and has more to offer all the way around.

Calistoga Roastery ordering system is like McDonald’s/most fast food places: –one cashier taking orders –lots of backup workers prepping food. –ur number is called when item is ready and u come to counter to get it. menu: pastries, expresso, coffee, breakfasts?, sammies? toasts, etc. brew: dark roast, french country(m. 2) –smooth, not bold, easy drinking. 3.5 stars drips: –service lowback(slow), friendly –food may be good, lack patience to wait for it. –no doubt if i had hours to kill, this place is 4 stars.

This place is a total Calistoga gem. We stopped her two mornings on our mini-moon, and both espresso and iced coffee were delicious. Love that they also offer almond milk. We also had their breakfast sandwiches, which hit the spot completely.

Go here for coffee! We stopped in 2 mornings and it was quality both times. I had a non fat latte both days when it was«for here» it was better. The drop coffee is in self serve containers so it was a question if it would be hot or fresh… it was both! One day there was a line, the next there wasn’t, I think that’s the way it goes but their service is friendly and efficient so you’re not waiting long. The bagels were good toasted and we liked the light whipped cream cheese.

Love this place! Great coffee and a nice change of scenery from your run of the mill Starbucks or Peet’s. This is a regular stop for us during our trips to wine country. Ice cream mocha is a must try! The breakfast sandwiches here are yummy too!

Great coffee shop that had space for a lot of people. The people are really friendly, the coffee is good and the breakfast sandwiches are awesome. I love that the breakfast sandwiches come with tomato and onion(although I got mine without onion) and not just the standard egg, cheese and bacon/sausage/avocado. There are booths in the back and there are otherwise tables that will fit large groups.

High-quality, inexpensive, breakfast paid for by my motel, the Sunburst Calistoga. The Sunburst Calistoga is under new management since we last visited and now they no longer offer toast at the hotel. Now they give you a discount food voucher to this wonderful little place. Come early as it gets crowded.
