English muffins from scratch, light, creamy quiches(as the French meant them to be) and constant supply of fresh baked goods. This is what bakeries are supposed to be like.

Yum! We had their homemade English muffins and they were so good we came back the next morning for more. Plus, the owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Makes you want to come back.

The morning glory muffin was absolutely awesome! My wife’s bear claw was pretty good too but we should’ve warmed it up more. They have a great selection at about 11 o’clock and not sure what it’s like later in the day. The seating inside is very nice but the seating outside seems a little bit flimsy. Great atmosphere.

Great local bakery! The staff is welcoming and pleasant as is the owner Paul. Beautiful hand made pastries, muffins, cakes and artisan breads. I recommend the Extra yummy egg, ham and cheese morning sandwich on their house-made English muffin! Organic coffee is a plus. No matter what you get, I’m pretty sure you’ll be glad you came!

In the area for Ragnar(a 200 mile relay Run) some of my team and I stopped in here briefly so that I could pick up some treats to take home and at 2pm on a Saturday the cases were pretty bare, not at all like the pictures I saw on here which had me struggle to decide what to get. I had high hopes for the goods though following the rave reviews and settled on an Apple Pecan Bar and an Almond Torta something. I can’t remember the exact name of it but it was something along those lines. I would love to say they were both amazing but. eh, not so much. My Husband couldn’t even eat the Almond Torta as he said the ”chocolate is vile”. I had no real issue with the Chocolate(maybe down to the extremely sweet Apple Pecan Bar numbing my taste buds) but what I did have a problem with was how greasy both of the items were. I was physically able to scrape congealed grease off of the bottom of the Apple Pecan Bar and could feel it on the roof of my mouth after having a small bit of both items. Looking past the grease and overwhelming Sugar content the flavor was actually fairly good but I think I’ll pass next time I’m here.

This place is delicious. It has all sorts of options that are very fresh and locally made. The baked goods are delicious. They also make a very good home made English muffin sandwiches with egg, ham, and cheese. This place has lots of great options and the staff is great as well!

Ordered a chocolate éclair today. It was rather soggy and uninspiring. Definitely not worth the $ 6.00 Also some small things that irk me include display Windows that are foggy and so you cannot see the product. And chipped walls that desperately need a new coat of paint. Would have been overlooked had I had a great product.

Good bakery, go here for the baked goods. The coffee wasn’t great. Service was great! So friendly welcoming and wishing us a great day. The almond croissant was fresh, classic and hit the spot. The croissant breakfast sandwich was hearty and yummy. I got a latte and my husband got a regular coffee… we both walked away with full cups and waited until we walked ½ a block to admit neither of us liked us.

Stumbled across this small bakery in Calistoga while trying to locate our hotel. Lots of fabulous bakery items made it difficult to select only one. Staff was friendly and the place had the feel of a cozy small town shop.

Bella Bakery did an amazing«naked» wedding cake for a wedding we had on Saturday in Calistoga. I wasn’t sure what a «naked» cake would look like, but it was absolutely charming, with a few fresh flowers to accent it. The taste was amazing, yellow cake with cream filling with strawberries. Paul was a delight to work with and delivered the cake himself. I would highly recommend using Bella Bakery for any special event – plus it is a great day to day bakery in our special town of Calistoga.

Very disappointed in the small chocolate cake just purchased for $ 31. It looked beautiful but must have been several days old, unless they plan on their cakes being very dry and stale tasting. Pretty much uneatable.

They make very good breakfast croissants here, with ham, egg, and cheese in a light, fluffy croissant. They also make nice creamy, chocolatey hot chocolates and very good Italian sodas. They have also a nice selection of sodas that some are hard to find in other places. It’s a very nice bakery. They also have pretty lemon tarts, which are sour with a caramelized top. Hard to find places to sit down. 4.5 stars.

Adorable small business on the main drag in Calistoga. I was tempted to try one o their baked goods but kept on with the original intention for coffee! It was warm outside so I grabbed an iced chai with an add shot. It was a tad on the sweet side, but not too much. I think next time I’ll try something different, it’s not bad– just not my speed.

The pastries weren’t very good. Several plates they were served on were dirty — looked like hot chocolate that had been through a dishwasher and was now caked on. But the service was very friendly, and the location can’t be beat. We didn’t try the coffee but instead went around the corner to the hipster joint and had a great cup.

The pastries are also amazingly delicious and very fresh. Loved the white mocha. The owner Paul and regulars are here again. His young kids helped to bring me my coffee. Such a pleasant atmosphere. And so pretty. Beautiful ornate ceiling, mirrors on the walls and chandeliers.

Wow this place is yummy! I only had a pastry and a cup of coffee, but expect to go back. Friendly people, easy in and out and delicious brownie with cream cheese frosting.

We stopped in for the first time yesterday. Needed some sweet treats for the ride home. Bought a frosted cutout sugar cookie(a turtle sporting a Santa hat) that was adorable and, most importantly, delicious! Wish we had bought 2! Oatmeal raisin cookie had great spice and juicy raisins… I live a chewy cookie! Other things looked delicious and the folks behind the counter we fun and informative and helped us pick out a few other items. We bought 2 homemade English muffins to have for breakfast today. YUM!!! We should have bought a dozen or 2. We were told they freeze well, so next time we are in town we will stock up! We also bought a loaf of cinnamon raisin bread. Haven’t tried it yet, but they let me squeeze the loaf before I bought it and it feels soft and dense. I’m sure it will be good!

Village Bakery changed hands last October. Bella Bakery is it’s posted name. noticed pastries, cakes, pannins, and taylor’s coffee place empty save for single table dining outside eats: cajun turkey pannini(7.95) –wrapped, premade in showcase –warmed up when prompted -«mayo, green onions, cheddar cheese, bacon –fabulously tasting, not spicy hot but spicy –sourdough bread very nice too. –pricey but worth the taste.
